@Bold - this is the saddest part about this whole situation. He seems defeated and his body language clearly says so too. I wish NB would talk to him about this because she knows him well enough and is wise enough to know how to motivate him again. Also, I would love for him to raise Minnie the way I guess NB raised him. It's like passing the torch on.
I absolutely loved what you said here:
It’s not about being a perfect father who can’t make mistakes. It’s about being a father, period.
He needs to stop chasing perfection and start chasing dreams, dreams of a bright future for their family, and especially for his Veer Balika, which would be incomplete without him playing the role of her dear father. I wish he would stop being so harsh on himself and thinking of himself as a failure, like his dad was.
This was the girl he gave up drinking for, and would give his life for if he had to. The raw materials are all there, they just need to be crafted.
This ❤️
And word to all you said here. He needs to stop chasing perfection and considering himself a failure of a father so easily.
NB really needs to tackle his psyche correctly here....aur koi nahin samjhega what’s triggering him. There definitely seems to be some baggage of him thinking he will be a bad father just like his own dad.
He said so many wonderful things to motivate Babita during Mini’s depression track....I really hope he remembers some of his own teachings on optimism and positivity in life and finds the motivation again.
Mini is a grown teenager now so he won’t get the exact experience with her that NB had with him I guess but there is still some raising left to do with Mini that HS can handle in his own way. Yeh ek special time hai to step into the role of a father for a girl who didn’t know it most of her life and a man who didn’t know the love one can feel for their child until now.
