I agree with you, that PB touch seems to be missing and some of the tracks feel forced and unconvincing. They have clearly been bitten by the TRP bug.

The tagline is for mother-daughter, but HS-Mini were the most unique relationship in the show.

Babita ke flip flops main tolerate bhi kar loon...but the writers are making me resent HS for focusing on Babita at the cost of Mini

Maybe it’s unfair, I dunno 🤷‍♀️....but the HS I’ve adored wouldn’t be this obtuse and wouldn’t be able to enjoy anything when his Veer Balika is not normal with him.

But I guess sex takes over everything eventually 🤷‍♀️😂

Babita had clearly proposed to him in large part because of Minnie and his relationship, but did he actually say that about Minnie?

Sorry I must have missed it.

As for his rona, abhi ke liye break. As he confirmed to Lala, everything was ok for now.

Well he only said things like tu first hai, tu nahin chahegi toh Kuch nahin which all seems to imply that Mini’s emotions are of paramount importance.

But when the wedding actually happened, Mini’s state of mind became a blip on the radar and it was all about their own issues.

Haan toh wohi toh bola Maine...there is no rona now, so why are you feeling so sorry for him now also? 🤷‍♀️😂....Babita mil gayi, he is khush now. Until the next time she flips out and he scrambles to placate her. Lol

@bold, I don't think so but I sure hope they have a very good explanation for HS' behavior and him owning up to his mistake.

She hasn't ever expected him to take that role on officially, and this wedding wasn't considered to be a means for her to get a father. I don't think she's thought of him that way yet. Abhi bhi waqt hai. Minnie is usually honest about such things so if her first instinct wasn't to shout out that he was her father, it is clear that her mind and heart have yet to make that journey towards fully accepting HS.

I actually don’t have that expectation from Mini 😕

That wasn’t the setting to burst out with a father declaration when she has to mentally sort through it first.

It’s a haq issue between HS and Mini and what pinches is HS not even trying to probe her state of mind. That is what a parent would do. Trying to understand why their child has retreated into a shell and isn’t herself. He used to be more perceptive than this about Mini.

If he’s only going to hang back for some declaration from her before he actually steps up to the responsibility of a father, not sure what that would speak to for his character 🤷‍♀️

That would not jive with the history of his equation with Mini. Writers actually expect us all to have amnesia? 🤔😂

Why not though? Isn’t most of the audience happy seeing him and Babita playing coy newlyweds? Lol so then explain to me how sex doesn’t take over everything? They are actually showing HS only thinking with his hormones for now😆

Until another explanation is presented, there is no other conclusion to draw 🤷‍♀️

He has only thought about getting close to Babita....nothing about Mini’s behavior and the change in her.

I know, it looks like the writing has gone haywire. The way the PH was sharing the TRP, it seems as if it was a gimmick that cost us a good track. Anyway, let's see what they come up with, now that they've gotten some new members in the audience who will want to see what happens between HS and MInnie.

I personally don't even think they are ready to be father-daughter yet... There is still some way to go and understand each other. As I said before, HS is wiser and more experienced, so he needs to take responsibility, introspect as to why he felt that way about Minnie's involvement in the CD fiasco, an assumption which goes against everything he has seen of her from day 1.

Well, he has wanted Babita for so long now that he's taking all that in for now. Chalk it up to his loneliness all these years or goodness knows what else the writers want to show. I give up on trying to figure out where all this is headed.

@bold: The wedding track has definitely proven this to be the case.

It’s kinda sad....they didn’t need to be a perfect father daughter in order to start discovering and accepting each other. They could have just accepted the label for now and learnt the meaning of it through different challenges....instead it’s all been wiped out 🤷‍♀️....new audience kya samjhengi is Bond ko without the context and build up? Sigh

As for TRPs...yeah I’m not surprised...it was a wedding and shock based drama....guaranteed TRP bait, so not surprising that it rose.

Baaki they are still watchable despite the TRP gimmicks so I guess that is all we can work with for now🤷‍♀️😂

You know what’s sad? That they brought me to the point to resent him for this. Otherwise it would be such a touching, emotional thing to feel for a character....years of loneliness finally ending as he experiences love and affection from a woman again. Like a catharsis...

Instead it was used as a wedge issue....muddled up in Babita ke hang ups and total neglect of the child who has been remarkably mature in this phase.

They brought me to the point of feeling resentment for this so called marital bliss rather than feeling happy for him and Babita.

I said this two days back also. Nothing can be enjoyed at the cost of neglecting HS and Mini’s relationship. But writers insist on taking it that route 🤷‍♀️

Yeh bhi nahin expect kar sakte ki they are doing this to show Babita stepping up to get them together. Woh toh hone se raha in 100 Janams 🙄😂
