Cause she doesn't even know what that could mean. She never had one and I can't remember whether Preet or anyone else could have given her a true idea why a father is so important in one's life, esp for girls. So this relation must be one-sided by default. Maybe dome times it is more difficult if one has a label to a relation, because then expectations come with it, but could you want a relation full or mutual expectations, if you are unsure what that entails? Maybe this is a stupid assumption, but I'm kind of tired and can't convey it better 🤔🙂

You make total sense, and this is what many of us have been saying. She doesn't know what it is to have a father or that she even exclusively wants one, whether that is HS or not. For that she needs time to introspect and focus on her own needs that she brushes away. That can't happen until she stops focusing on Babita's needs all the time at the expense of her own.

HS should understand that it's not easy to be a father, in general, whether or not you share the same DNA with your child. He didn't think things through and now realizes that it's not all hunky dory. He can't leave things broken this way.

Yeah I guess the scene may touch on the father daughter relationship somewhat today.

But I’m wondering if we are expected to count this as all relationships normalizing and everything being hunky dory....are there no deeper issues left to resolve for the trio amongst themselves then? 😕

I had thought gradually build up honge issues and gradually address honge. Yahaan toh they totally devolved them in the shaadi and now a week later, sudden resolution? Lol

This is probably what Preet’s dialogue was about yesterday....ki sab aise hi jhatke mein solve ho jaayega 🤷‍♀️😂

Sometimes life works just like that.

We end up stressing about how things will be resolved yet some things get resolved in a very simple manner.

Other times we only solve it on the surface and feel happy about it for the time being but the residual issues surface eventually and cause more trouble.

A stitch in time saves nine and all that.

I like it this way- no need to drag because in reality all issues were one side based on the victims’s own perception. Babita thought HS can’t love her, Minnie thinks she is a third wheel. HS felt no one needs him when in reality none of it was true.

This is also a good lesson for audiences- not to make a mountain of a molehill. I don’t expect My parents/ siblings to apologize to me for every time they said something that hurt me and I am glad they don’t either though I know I must have hurt them too. We dust it off and move on!!! I can’t even imagine having to have a conversation about every tiff- that would be weary and tooo damn formal.

That is why family is different- you can say shit to each other and still get away with it.

I have no problem with life working out "just like that"😆

But in this case, I think the level to which this situation had been messed up deserved a bit more detailed resolution.

Oh well, I'll take it as long as I get normal HS-Mini without any put on formality or distance with each other.....I want their haq back.
