Yes, Babita complaining about Minnie and then leaving him cold by supporting Naeem Bi. It really was such a family moment, especially when parents say "Your daughter" if they kid has done something wrong, and "my daughter" if she has done something good. In this case, she was complaining to HS about "his veer balika". My heart burst with joy on hearing that and how he had this glow on his face, taking his kid's side right away.

I think it was some laal peela face wala comment. I can't remember it clearly now. I am SO amazed by all the subtle nuances that this show brings to the table. Whether it's through the dialogues, actions or songs - it's all masterful.

HS was glowing non-stop since yesterday. I don't think I have ever seen him that happy before. ❤❤❤

I think that he was annoyed with Babita because they were talking of Mini and than suddenly Babita saw the empty bottles and called him a drinker as well. And he got angry and walked out.

I wonder if he called Lally to bring a new bottle to drink and maybe to make a point to Babita, hence the drinking in the Hawaii in the open and a challenge to Babita to stop him.

A clash of egos today, of who is going to win. She always orders him to do things but never makes any effort to understand him at all.

I think she needs to understand his past and help him to move past it before they can be happy with one another other wise she will not be able to handle his strong passion and love.

Agree with everything you said. Naeem Bi went a bit over the top but her intentions were in the right place.

Yes, clash of egos between the leads, as in every other soap. I really didn't to see this.

Yeah, but back then she said it deliberately to make a point. In today's episode, it came out naturally, a couple of times.

You know, while the whole Hanita story is going on, there is another thing that I am looking forward to: Minnie truly becoming his daughter, from her point of view, truly viewing him as a father. She is not there because of the stigma associated with the role of father. She also needs to shed her baggage before she can accept HS as more than just her mother's lover/husband.

Yes, he has been glowing and you're right he has never been this happy before. I loved the 3 of them sitting on the couch, smiling, at peace.

Glad, I'm not the only one to notice. It was really palpable. I love the way they design scenes, because it was subtle but the signs of the change in dynamics were all there. Even the way she hugged Naeem Bi was like hugging her father's mother. It was my favorite part of the episode.

@bold

Exactly. This is what she needed, to feel like a kid and do what kids do. Being under his protection and care, she feels that she can relax and leave all the worrying to him.

She was adorable when she kept pleading with him not to punish her Babes for her mistakes, and HS was shaking his head - he had long since forgotten it. My heart went out to Minnie, the kid, pleading her dad to be her mom's companion, to love and cherish her. Today she finally understood what he had meant about emotional support and what her mother was missing out on.

Even in yesterday's episode, he told her he would say whatever she wanted to hear, and he wasn't her uncle anymore in terms of the way he looked at her and talked to her. I don't know how Aniruddh manages to do it but it was so perfect! Even today, the way he picked her off the floor and made her sit next to him, then turned the chair to face her. It was so lovely to watch.

@green

Do you mean when Babita and he have another child?

areh..this discussion has gone to some different way.different in a good meaning.

But I was not talking about hanita's new kid. I was talking we will get to seen more of hanuman's bond,craving and anguish over losing his child with imrati.We already saw mini's side of coin. So we can feel peace watching her having a dad finally.

What about hanuman?When it will be hanuman's turn it would be agonising enough.also when his veer balika become his dauhter officially. By that I dont mean marriage type thing,i mean when verbally they become papa-beti;with or without any legal bond.

Till now they are in the beti jaisi hain and hero jaisa hain zone.

Don't worry, as HS says, laad pyaar ke chakkar mein chori ko bigadne na doonga main. And after recent incidents, his world revolves around her. Even though her surgery was not so serious, seeing her in pain just put daggers through his heart. I don't think he could stand it if anything happened to her. He knows that she has been through a lot and I am sure he will always keep an eye on her changing needs, including babying her when she needs it, like today. It really was an "aww" moment for me when he pulled her to sit beside him on the couch.

This is why I'm still hooked onto the show, because of these two.

There's a long time for me to be a parent but I can somewhat understand what they must be going through. Last year my brother had to get a surgery done on his wrist, and while it was a minor operation, my parents were worried as heck. Mom, more so than Dad but that tension remains when a child is ill. Heck, even I cried and started freaking out when the receptionist was like sign this form so that we can't be held responsible if something happens to your child. That fear was just bone chilling.

Minnie already has a sibling that she accepted. I am sure it will appear later in the show. I don't think she'll be jealous, rather it would complete her family.

Who's the sibling? Meeta's?

I wonder if Minnie will feel comfortable calling HS her dad. By actions, they are father-daughter, it's just the verbiage that remains to be adopted.

I was just thinking of what the situation will be in which Minnie calls HS her dad for the first time. Whether it'll be a big event or something but then it hit me that she could just bring the legal documents home one day and ask HS to officially adopt her.

Oh gosh, how can I forget about Khatri. But given everything that has happened thus far, ab toh usse bhi ni dar lagta. 😆

Oh, yes for sure. It will be tough to watch HS like that. I hope Minnie finds out before Babita does. That might just be the nudge she needs mentally to understand exactly why she means so much to him.

Yes, right now she has officially uncle-zoned him, as someone on the forum mentioned. To him, she is not beti-jaisi, she is his beti. She hasn't heard him say it because he hasn't claimed that right out loud, but in his heart it happened a long time ago.

I am really waiting for the day she calls him papa or better still, bapu (since he's Haryanvi).

In true PB style it will just happen one day, unplanned. The situation could either be mundane, an everyday thing, or something monumental such that she will blurt it out, catching him and herself unawares. It would be beautiful.

Of course, HS being HS will get very emotional and just be shocked because it would unlock all the repressed pain he has. Perhaps then he will tell her about losing his child so she understands the significance of calling him dad/papa/bapu.

Maybe they will keep it between them or maybe it will happen in front of others.

The legal papers can come one day but how that turns out depends on whether or not she has turned 18 by then. He will be overwhelmed if she did such a thing but he may just say that his love goes beyond those papers and did not need a sign and stamp.

I think most human beings tend to have parental feelings built in. It's only a matter of the right trigger.
