Its hard to believe that he would lose control just like that... this guy is teaching Minnie from the day she met him to control her anger.. to channel her anger constructively.. then why suddenly he is faltering as mentor to his daughter... This time what has triggered him to not exercise his control.. and his belief of following Gandhi's principle..

This guy has rooted through out the show for woman to grow spine and stand against any aggression and disrespect or humiliation then how can he believe in any such disrespect.. I don't think he would go beyond pulling hand and stopping Babita but still that voice and pull had subdued anger enough to create fear in her eyes.. or may be it will spark her rage instead ..there is more to what we have seen of course and I believe this is perhaps to throw some light on Babita's understanding of hanuman .. She needs to see him in his vulnerable condition and perhaps his worst too.. She has seen him broken when he cried on her letter to Imarti.. She has seen those tears in his eyes for food she served him.. but she has not explored this side of him yet.. what is he holding back inside.. that made him say these things to her..

There has to be bigger lesson and purpose of this confrontation otherwise it doesn't justify the teachings that Hanuman wants to inculcate in his Minnie.. I don't want Minnie to see hanuman behaving like this with babes.. but if she sees I feel it will break him more..firstly to fall in eyes of the woman he loves and then the daughter who is his life. watching him in that state... I feel going by creatives amazingly beautiful episodes in past few weeks.. this one will also leave us in tears and more love for hanuman in the end :)

On side note - I m getting attached to this character CVs.. Please don't show any inconsistency in his character.. for me reason of watching this show is Hanuman Singh

Agreed.

After Dheere Jalna, HS told Babes that he never imagined he would ever lose control like that and this is the second time it has happened. They better address this as well as his drinking problem.

His drinking is already a touchy subject and I highly believe it's in relation to Imarti but most importantly his dead child.

You summed up everything perfectly!

@bold, I think so too. After the father-daughter bond being established this was the track I was looking forward to most. The CVs did say that it was only the beginning.

Did you say you were "getting attached" to this character? You're not already in love with him like many of us are? 😛

The question is why now? What triggered this all of a sudden?

He was so gentle and careful after Minnie came back from the hospital. What has changed?

Oh God! I don't think I'd be able to watch the episode where he talks about his dead child. It would rip my heart out, especially knowing Aniruddh's caliber as a performer.

I have no idea to be honest. Yes, Minnie was hospitalized but it was a common operation that many people have and recover from. His inner turmoil regarding his love for Babita can't be it either. I have a strong suspicion that it's something to do with Imarti and his child. By wholly accepting Babes and Minnie, he will have to put them behind and officially move on with his life.

It will be a difficult episode to get through but I'm also looking forward to it. We need this for HS' character development.

there are so many possibilities.. we can think of .. yeah if this gives Babita an insight into his past.. and makes him open his wounds to her.. I would love to see how Babita challenges him to open that part up.. Naem bi told her that Imarti is not here to stop him.. May be that's something she says that would have triggered his reaction.. not sure but looks like some hidden wound surfaced and that needs to be addressed before they can start afresh in their relationship..

yes and I believe that Babita exercising her right to stop him and may be asking him to show what he means by andar ki aag.. will make him back off.. and may be this will break him and make him open up to her like never before.. yeah may be we can hear how he lost his wife and his child...

By the incident with Minnie, I was actually referring more to his discovery of how much he meant to her, the fact that she idolized him, hero-worshiped him. He had inadvertently become the kind of father to her that he would have wanted to have, that he would have wanted his child to have. So he began to put his needs below hers.

Look at the way he was talking to Minnie today with so much open affection, holding her hand, putting his arm around her when she was about to go off in a huff. His demeanor was completely different. When she sat on the sofa again instead of leaning on to Babita, it was his arm around her shoulder, pulling her close like a father does. He has never done that before. In fact this is the first time he has initiated something like this. Otherwise he usually just returns her hugs or comforts her when she's crying.

Even towards the end of the episode the way he was talking to her was different, somehow. I don't know if it's carried over from missing her while he was away and just wanting to spend Sunday fun day with his daughter.

Ugh... I can't explain it but if you go watch their scenes today you'll see what I mean.
