Your Opinion - Name Calling Allowed? - Page 2

I think the name calling is appropriate as long as it is associated with the characters and not the actors personally. Secondly, the intention behind the name calling is what counts. Some people engage in it out of sheer frustration and some for humor. Even the leads of the show are called all kinds of names when the audience is irritated with them but then there are other members here who use name calling as a means of instigating others. That is when it appears a little wrong to me personally. People's intentions are very obvious from the manner in which they engage in the name calling. On this forum, some people do it exclusively to be vile and to rile up other members who like the character and it is REALLY starting to get very irritating now.

I hope you guys can come to a decision soon.

Firstly, thanks everyone for coming out. We can only improve if we know there's something wrong.

The reason why I posed this thread is because people feel that the DT are bias. We just wanted to see what you see as bashing/instigation versus our perception. I feel it's a stepping point to remove that ideology.

Members have to understand that we cannot close a topic only if it contains negativity. Opinions can be negative or positive. Topics are only closed if they breach a rule.

So generally speaking everyone feels that name calling should be allowed to a point where it's not instigating and negative.

Name calling for fun is acceptable as long as that is not meant to instigate the tug of war on forum.

I edited my posts as i understood my mistake :)

Bashing any character or any fellow member was neva my intention bt when others are doin that thing so why shouldnt we ?? I think its human nature.. If someone doin bad to us we should do the same to them

This tug of war would have neva started bt until and unless few fellow members have not started laughing on KNs accent and making fun of her and then made siddhi as there target and made fun of her..

And when we started bashing KC(character) people started emotional attyachar on us that how we can do so and its there fav character in the show

So cant they have the same feeling for us.

And yes we neva made fun of actors.

I knw this al is happening just bcoz of poor storyline

bt when we did stopped bashing they came up again to bash the character which is now not needed as very few members feel the character is wrong..

I cant say the DT is biased or not, just want a strict rule for all the members of this forum so no one can bash any charater/actor/member :)

I will say yes to name calling bt till an extent..

Calling richa chudail should be acceptable

Bt calling leads wid bad name should not be allowed bt they can be called within a limit and words should be used which are used in the show... As it wont hurt anyone...

Many people neva liked old richa so she was called 'witcha' and now when the actress is changed and people are liking new richa so she shouldnt be called 'witcha'

What sort of rule is this :/

And one person shouldnt create same type of topics and call the actor/actress by bad name(derogatory words) as this is defo gonna hurt the fan group and will again led to fights


Gur one more suggestion can we a dislike button as well like we have in actors profile/articles comments so that all can know how his/her post is :P

Again i wil say u r the moderator nd u know rules better than members bcs that's yr work nd priority in forum.
Just want to say onething that if any lead was called 'vamp' in any other forum constantly for few days with intentions evident to all normal members here,considering the number of posts made ,by now a drastic step should have been taken against the member.
Im saying this bcz again anthr psycho post was made ystd nd out of irritation anthr member made a post bcz the law is lenient to some here ,but the funniest part is that the vamp post is open nd the other member warned nd blockd.
Am i wrong?

Gur as now u can see ppl r defending how abusing a Member is absolutely fine but abusing a character which does not even exist in real life is not fine and if someone bashed a character that person deserves Name calling , abuses as per them and its absolutely fine for them 🤣 🤪 ...a post for a character is a psyco post but an abusive thread for a real member is Not 😉

Abusing members should not be allowed at all. And those who are complaining about abuses have themselves accused members, made fun of them and mock at their opinions. I have several post that I can report here for that matter.
