Part 3
Rani was still not able to recover from shock; she couldn't believe that he visited this place again. He took out bundle of notes from his pocket and threw that in Champa's hand. "For whole night!" he said and headed towards her room. She looked at him surprisingly. He couldn't unnoticed surprise smile on her face when he walked very much close to her. She was on cloud nine. Champa hint other girl to leave them alone and she quickly moved out of the room. Sarjaa entered in room and sat on bed. She turned to look at him. Her heartbeat seems to be paused for a while when she saw that mischievous smile on his face. She turned again and closed the door. Sarjaa finally broke silence between two and told her to seat on bed. Rani came and sat very much next to him.
Sarjaa – "Tera naam kya hain?"
Rani – (She looked at him with puzzled expression and replied) "Rani"
Sarjaa – (He quickly asked next question) "Asali naam?"
She was still with full of attitude.
Rani – "Ayeee, tune bahar jo paise diye wo kya mera naam janane ke liye diye hain? Baat karata hain!"
Sarja – (He was no less even) "Haan usiki liye diye hain. Ab batayegi?"
Rani – "Kya karega asali naam jaanake? Kya usaka acahar dalega"
Sarjaa – "Tu sidhi tarah jawab nahi de sakti…" (He looked at her with so much irritation)
There was pause in between their argument for a while. Both looked at each other with strange expression. But finally Rani broke suspense on him.
Rani – "Asali naam……. Anjali……… Par bolana mat kisiko yahe pe. Koi nahi janata yeh naam yaha pe" (She said sadly)
He nodded positively with all set to fire his next question.
Sarjaa – "Bukhar kaisa hain ab tera? Doctor ke paas gayi thi?"
Rani – "Thik hain abhi. Par tereko kisane bola tha ilaaj ke liye paise dene ko? Main khud ja sakti thi"
Sarjaa – "Mera mann kiya so maine paise diye." (He said arrogantly)
She was really no less in front of his attitude. She got up quickly from the bed and walked near to her cupboard. She took out money from it and angrily walked towards him.
Rani – "Yeh rahe tere paise jo doctor ke paas jaane ke liye diye the. Ek bhi paisa nahi kharch kiya hain. Baki ke paise bhi Champa Tai ke pass hain, wo bhi lauta dungi tuze"
Sarjaa – "Maine paise mange hain tuzse?"
Rani – "Mera mann kiya so main bhi paise lauta diye", she said confidently.
He took deep breath and took out money from her hand. She finally sat down on bed again with winning attitude. He was busy in putting money back to his pocket. But something was going in her mind. She asked him finally.
Rani – "Tune aaj phir puri raat ke paise diye? Iraada kya hain? Uss din to bahut akad ke chala gaya tha."
He thought for a while, smiled and replied,
Sarjaa – "Tere se baat karne ka mann kiya to aa gaya…."
Rani couldn't help out. She burst out into laughter loudly. He looked at her with puzzled expression. Finally she controlled her laughter and asked him. "Didn't you pay bigger amount just to talk to me". Sarjaa said, "Money is not bigger thing for him. He can pay whichever amount he wishes for whatever things he wants". Rani asked him, "Why you are so much arrogant about money you have?". Sarjaa replies he is not arrogant rather he is confident than he can earn enough money to buy whatever he wishes. Rani replied, "You can't everything with money". Sarjaa replied, "But you can't live without it too. Can she think of surviving without money"? She had no answer. Her face turned sad when she recalled how this money has brought her disastrous life. He looked her and asks her what happened? She avoid answering just by saying nothing. She covered her face with plastic smile as quick as she can and starts asking him about his life………………….
That night was most memorable night for both of them……. That night two people shared so much secrets of them breaking the wall of stranger. That night, that room was filled with laughter only. First time ever, they both were so much happy…………… just with each other…………………..
