I just read the article about the ranking lol

They have a synopsis of every show that is in the top five, even Bigg Boss, except for PS lol🤣🤣🤣

They only have written that the rank has improved but why they don't know lol 🤣

There is no mention of the story at all 🤣

I don’t get this mindless ‘craze’ to copy everything amrikan…

Halloween madness started in India past few years look so ‘wannabe’ ! Mix of Desperate ‘want to look cool’ and marketing dump. Sadly ‘badey shehar’ bachchas grow up in this show offs.

What next? Thanksgiving? 4th July? (saw Sonam kapoor hosted thanksgiving dinner last year- coming soon to your neighborhood🤦🏽‍♀️)

Middle East ghoomein? Chalo bring those breaking plate ritual to India. Americas? Bring Halloween. Zmnd dekha: host tomatina parties in farmhouses/ airbnbs.

But celebrating festival from other region in India: errmm… too chhota shehar!!
The ‘engliss medium’ mindset.

Fun fact: many Americans from jewish community, Irish folks avoid Halloween. Many of us desis hold on putting decorations until Diwali is over. Muslim community center in our area celebrates ‘halaalaween’ to avoid taking children to trickOTreat.

Another fun fact:

Most non desis celebrating Diwali/ Holi / Eids/ Hanukkah is always through their freinds. They don’t decorate their houses, host parties dressed up for diwalis. Or Eid or Hanukkah.

Another another fun fact:

In Christmas holidays : in school parties: noticed while volunteering: many (not all) Jewish, Muslim kids refuse to make art projects related to it. Clearly saying we don’t celebrate it. (Teachers keep torah or chaand or Kwanza related project as back up) same for Diwali - you can’t ask a child to work on activity if their religion prohibits it. And atleast in California they do follow this very carefully.

Hypothetically, If I were part of SP, I would completely revamp the channel and sever toes with the likes of Gul, Ekta, Raja Shahi, GHKKPM’s PH, Sphere Origins 😆 and bring a new set of PH and ideas, in the process TRP audience should also be taught a lesson 😆

I want to know this fascination of celebrating American festivals in India especially among the ELITE and CELEBRITIES 😆 When I grew up there, didn’t do any such thing, knew only about Thanksgiving because of History class 😆

Do they even know why Halloween is celebrated or Thanks Giving? 😆

In future won’t be surprised if Indians celebrate, MLK day, President’s day, St. Patrick’s day, Spring break Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day and Thanks Giving 😆

The only thing I saw common in both the countries is Christmas celebrations which is absolutely fine.
