Yes she was chosen at the last minute. Kaveri Priyam was supposed to play Raavi and it was all out in the media. But she backed out at the last minute due to other commitments. The girl who played Disha in the 3rd angle track also auditioned but it was SP who suggested Alice to the production house as she got good recognition through her previous show. Both KD and Alice told that in their first interview together back in March of last year that she was the last one to do the mock shoot exactly 3 days before her entry and immediately got the job. Her first scene she shot was the first takrar scene between Shiva- Raavi post leap where she runs into his bike, mirchi is all flying around. Then she shot scenes with Mami and Anita and the rest is history.

I feel Alice looks much better in this show than her previous show where make-up was gawdy and clothes were OTT. She also gained a little bit weight in PS which has made her even more beautiful. I haven’t see her earlier show but have seen pictures, she looked emaciated there.

Alice, the cuteness she brings to Raavi is beyond everything.

I watched her got the 1st time in KHKT, she was a negative character but I liked the actress because she really acted very gracefully.

I couldn't follow her next serial but when I read somewhere in the article that she is going to play Raavi, I was all excited for PS.

And the first scene itself made me fall in love with her. With every episode, I liked her even more and then the Mannat episode, Kanwar have always been spectacular with his craft but in the whole track, Alice just stole the show, her expressions, her walk her tears, every thing, every emotion peirced to the heart, that full track showed the potential of Alice as an actress.

Whenever Alice is appreciated or recognised, it feels as a personal achievement.

She feels like a girl next door still stands out due to her craft, humbleness

She has improved by leaps and bounds. Just watching her on screen connects me to her.. Her smile is contagious... Her tears break my heart... Her chubula pan lightens up my mood.

For the third angle track the girl has got least dialogues.. Yet she came out with her strongest performance even if she was in background.... Audience connected with her naturally.

She is just pure adorble hard working girl... Keeping to her...improving her craft...with least amount of showbaazi...

Wish her lots of love, success ahead in life... May she get best of everything in life. ❤️❤️

Raavi's breakdown during the wedding sequence was the first scene I saw of Alice, and loved it. The shock, the disbelief,, the heartbreak, it was all palpable, coming out one after the other. That's what hooked me to the show.

Though her initial scenes as Raavi seemed so over-the-top, it's post the wedding you realise that Alice portrayed those emotions with perfection. Alice's portrayal of Raavi's bubbliness, being mad-in-love, excitement, all of it was just at the level it needed to be.

That made her eventual breakdown even more impactful.

Alice's performance has grown immensely across the last year, and it's evident from the recognition her work has received. As someone mentioned earlier, despite being given the least dialogues at times, Raavi shone through purely because Alice enacted those emotions with that intensity.

To hold their own against Kanwar & Kruttika-ji, both fine actors with powerful screen presence & acting capability, Alice has stolen the show in multiple scenes, and that is a feat in itself.

Since the Kanwad Yatra track, she has almost outperformed every single one of the characters so flawlessly, you can't help but follow her in every scene. In fact, when she was down with COVID, there were a whole bunch of them waiting for her to come back so that could start watching PS again.

Alice mentioned in one of her posts that she's not reached yet, but is on the way, growing and learning. With that attitude, I have no doubt she will continue to grow, get impeccable roles (like 'Maya'), and have a whole load of success!! ❤️

True, Pari and Raavi are so different and her acting is so good that you cannot tell that they are same.

And honestly, as irrating Pari was in KHKT, that is how amazing she is here and I love that Alice has been given a good spotlight here and she is carrying it really well.

Honestly, I started watching PS only for her, wanting to see what she brings from KHKT, and she really did a commendable job.

She is learning a lot, and hope to see her ahead too.

Alice’s fan & supporter for life now!

Had seen her as Meghna, Pari & Her big fan for Raavi.

Dark horse! Per influencers, Raavi was written to be just a Shiva’s love interest- someone like his Bhabhi. She has shattered that binding mould & taken this character beyond creatives, writers taming boundaries!

And a huge credit for this Connect, craze & audience response goes to Alice- how she portrays Raavi!

It was Raavi’s entry & her Breakdown at wedding that made me invest in this show. Was watching PS from beginning , but not following/ on forum/ on Twitter discussing this show.
Alice was top notch in that breakdown scene. (So was Kanwar with his silent reactions)

The growth , the variations :

from being dobi- cute- chirpy to lost-helpless- confused- angry at her circumstances yet craving for love & family, moving on to recognize reality & deal with it- to Confusion at sudden divorce to seeing her husband with other girl to determined fight for saving her marriage, all while being constantly gaslighted- harassed- abused.

Then the realization phase, falling in love in real sense beyond infatuation, and before her khushiyan are materialized-

another round of circumstantial chaos where she is trapped beyond her faults!

Chaos again, abuses again, gaslighting again : uncalled for Agneepariksha again.

Alice nails it all: the ups & downs; the cute & uglies; randomest storylines & chaos; sweet & sassy phases to Confused & nasty phases::
the way Alice brings DEPTH in all these variations is something no other actor on this show has managed to.

That is why viewers across the platforms connect with her.

That is why she is getting noticed in Every media/ social media/ chanel lists.

You Go Alice! I feel proud seeing her growth!

I am also on the verge of becoming her fan. She is my favorite artist but I don't follow her enough to know her personality. Though I want her to give more interviews so that fans can know her POVs .

Alice aces angst tracks and has improved the comic timing as well.❤️

You have nicely summarized the thoughts of many. The day Raavi is shown as more than Shiva's love interest and someone who is used as a dump to throw their mistakes on her head. Raavi as a character will grow bound. As much as I am unhappy with the current track I am happy Alice's range of emotions and tracks.
