Appreciation thread for Alice Kaushik

Irrespective of the writing, I am impressed with the acting of Alice Kaushik. Her over dramatic expressions, her sassyness, her teasing Shiva and today her helplessness and sadness when nobody believed her was really good. The wide range of emotions she displayed over the past few weeks deserves appreciation👌👏❤️

She's amazing.. I watched her in KHKT & I couldn't believe that Pari is Raavi.. She's such a versatile actress.. She's so subtle yet so powerful in her acting, I started watching the show due to Raavi's breakdown. I remember one of her scene after Sneha kaand when Shiva was angry with her & she was so apprehensive of going into room, that scene remained with me, her hesitation, apprehension, body language.. All just showed how she understand her character & give us what Raavi is feeling which is not even written in script, same at the time when Suman snatched script from her & she went away dejected, my heart went out for her, when during ramayan play, Suman hug everyone & Raavi stayed away looking hurt & then accepting that she's not part of the family still smiled for them in their happiness.. There are so many scenes where Alice was not given any dialogue but she conveyed emotions so powerfully that you can't help but cry for Raavi.. Even after show is finished these scenes will remain with me, where she just portrayed Raavi & her feeling without even any dialogue

She played Cute & Sassy Raavi & we couldn't help but fall for her, tip tip became her song now because it has Raavi's essence & her innocence even in an item number.. She has shown her versatility as an actor & nailed everything

I agree, in awe with this girl’s acting. She has grown leaps and bounds since I first saw her on March 9th, 2021. This is my first show of her and Cannot stop praising her enough. Her hardwork and dedication is shining through.

I am so happy she is getting all the recognition she deserves.
Just like Kd’s friend posted in her Reel/IG post, she is the only one showing different emotions in each episode abd everybody else is doing the same thing in every episode including Bunty. When Alice is on screen and in the scene, she owns the scene, it is difficult for me to take my eyes off her. As Raavi she is making you feel for her, support her, root for Raavi to win.

And I should conclude by saying, Alice is one of the best things to happen for this show.

She was the last one to audition for Raavi just few days before Raavi was going to be introduced after the leap and turned out to be the best decision by the casting people.

She has progressed and improved so much as I had watched her in KHKT but you will be shocked I didn’t recognise when I saw her as Raavi and I was like are these 2 the same people.

Also her acting is so top notch liek no expression is repeated though having less dialogues still expresses her character so well through the minutes changes in her expressions while reacting to other’s characters dialogues.With less screen space she still manages the audience to hook up to her character and never been able to skip it.

So proud of her the recognition and love she is getting of audiences , hope she gets more of it in future in form of love,support and opportunities.

True, Pari and Raavi are so different and her acting is so good that you cannot tell that they are same.

And honestly, as irrating Pari was in KHKT, that is how amazing she is here and I love that Alice has been given a good spotlight here and she is carrying it really well.

Honestly, I started watching PS only for her, wanting to see what she brings from KHKT, and she really did a commendable job.

She is learning a lot, and hope to see her ahead too.

She has improved by leaps and bounds. Just watching her on screen connects me to her.. Her smile is contagious... Her tears break my heart... Her chubula pan lightens up my mood.

For the third angle track the girl has got least dialogues.. Yet she came out with her strongest performance even if she was in background.... Audience connected with her naturally.

She is just pure adorble hard working girl... Keeping to her...improving her craft...with least amount of showbaazi...

Wish her lots of love, success ahead in life... May she get best of everything in life. ❤️❤️

Plus a very pure soul human being.

I just love her and srsly a fan of her now.

I watched some scenes of KHKT and I really disliked Pari and was a bit apprehensive on watching this show due to her but I was attracted to this show due to her breakdown during wedding. She has improved so much from initial Pandya store episodes. Her comic timings, body languages and some nuances have improved a lot.

One thing I am thankful to the makers is that maybe her stories and povs are ignored they give variety of emotions to portray to Raavi not through dialogues but expressions which shows her craft

Really she was chosen at last? I am really happy she got chosen. PS and Alice are lucky for eo (condition applied to some things) happy for her finally she got recognition for her hardwork. Raavi's innocence and charm is definitely portrayed nicely by Alice.

She is seldom given proper stance/ pov and dialogues but her expressions and body language enhances her character. May all your wishes for her come true.
