Thank you so much for all that love.🤗

Shiva is one of my favourite characters, that’s why I love exploring his players through this post.

Dilushi 🤗First of all I would like to thank you that you decided to participate in the discussions. To be honest, after our previous show together ended the day Veer died, I was missing some part of our daily discussions of the drama queen. That’s why Shiva and Ravi romance happening at the right time give me some solace. Thank you so much for your kind words of appreciation. Hi I am glad that you could experience multiple emotions, conflicting months while reading the post.

Coming to the happy part..

Raavi wants to make a fresh start leaving behind all the fights and past bitterness with Shiva. For her those childhood memories that she has with him is not the once Raavi wants to cherish or remember and on the contrary we have Shiva who does not want to erase their past. For him those childhood memories are valuable. Coz that's where the journey of Shivi began❤️

That's fairly sad, isn't it? Sadly, for Shiva his childhood is precious. Even if it’s better, it had laid the foundation for the man he is today. I could experience that pinch of sadness when Ravi wanted to become strangers and forget their childhood. I still believe that he wants to keep those treasured memories with him forever.

The question you have been asking in many of your posts that, did Shiva secretly admire Raavi or have crush on her? I think the answer is YES😳

Ahh! ❤️It gives me such a hope that probably I am not the only delusional one. I think it has been entered in the show multiple times that Siva had a strange obsession with Ravi and there was a lot of tension between them.

As you say Dev is the blue-eyed boy who was loved by all and Raavi's inclination towards him was natural. Shiva is unable to handle this equation because he deep down wants the attention that Raavi gives to Dev for himself🤣The fights and pranks are therefore his way of becoming a part if Raavi's life😆. IMO Raavi too wants Shiva's acceptance but for that she first have to accept Shiva in real sense😆

Dev. 😆 He reminds me of you know a particular character from the show we just got a break from. But, it’s natural on any girl‘s part to look at Dev as a prince charming. His politeness, kindness and gentle demeanour always made him a preferential choice. But, Shiva may not have consciously craved for Ravi‘s attention, but he certainly wantedHer to be the centre of his universe.😆

Now the sad part..

Veer played the same song for A 🥺

Sighhhhh!

That Song did break my heart too.🤗😭 I miss him so much😭

Thank you 🤗Both may have been pitched as diametrically opposite, yet the common thread of family binds them together.

They grew up together and where Dev became her prince charming, Shiva became her nightmare and yet when she does something as much as she thinks about Dev she thinks about Shiva too. It is a ying and yang situation here.

That's Indeed a beautiful analogy there! The energies that are so contrasting tend to balance each other.

Shiva have disliked her for her relationship with Maami but he has never been able to negate her goodness and that is the reason why he can’t and won’t let others bully her, thats solely his department.

Bang on! I like that Haque Shiva has on her even without Ravi giving it to him. The sole right of torturing her (LOL) Lies with him.

And u r right that song was beautiful. Even Shiva’s reaction to it along with his words was beautiful. When he says we will have to go and erase our childhood, it just made me feel a little emotional. Here we have kids who have known each other their whole life. That kind of connection is phenomenal. I know it because I have it. They have fought each other tooth and nails. They know the other very deeply. They have seen and maintain that the other might be bizarre but not bad. Each time their childhood is mentioned its filled with the other. That is not just something u can erase. And Shiva would rather not because that is what has shaped both of them today. Loosing it will be like loosing themselves.
The connection Between them is complicated. While Ravi has obsessed over getting married to a romantic prince charming – her object of desire for a decade, Shiva comes across as a borderline dominant controlling his relationship not only with Dev but himself too 😆

He was crazy enough to mention that he would burn the entire Somnath if she ever gets married to Dev. There have been many subtle hints about Shiva third wheeling between Ravi and Dev, But sadly, we all know that DevShall always be an outsider in their relationship.

He doesn’t refuse her stranger to friendship offer due to friend zoning threat🤣 No! He refuses it because if that happens they won’t be the same Shiva and Raavi. They will be someone else. They both have played a major hand in shaping the other to what they r today. N that will be lost. So they will have to take it forward just like that. They will have to build on what is already there. And that is how they will make it beautiful because their history is rich and strong. And someday maybe they will look back at their childhood and laugh like Shiva did as he gifted her the chipkali...

You know there is A certain beauty in lonely one-sided relationships which Have a hint of pining and craving for attention. I wouldn’t mind a track where we get to see Shiva had always been wanting to be around her just because he had no one else to call his friend. I am glad that he refused the notion of friendship – that exclusivity belongs to Dev. And, you know-our hero Doesn’t want anything that isn’t his exclusive right. I am just wondering if I am keeping my expectations too high, but I can’t help feeling excited for this one. Thank you so much for expressing your wonderful thoughts and appreciative comments. Loved reading this one🤗

You mentioned the part about how he was stunned looking at Raavi smiling when he trips Maami over the marbles. He had a very similar reaction to her in another childhood incident, she calls him jhalla and he’s rendered speechless for a moment before he finally comes up with a lame retort 😆 And that reaction of his to her seems to have been carried forward with him to his adulthood and we see that in almost all their scenes. ❤️

I couldn't have agreed on this one more! I have also updated Jhalla episode in post number three. Shiva’s reaction To Ravi are very similar to their childhood camaraderie. She would diss him,He would be grumpy, she would chant about Dave and, he would End up fighting with her with more spirit.

And, is it so easy to forget for Shiva that this girl chanted Dev, and always been in love with her brother? That’s why, they can never be strangers!

So trueee

Loved this update as usual Piuuu 🤗❤️

Thank you So much for your enthusiastic and appreciative comments. Much love❤️🤗

Uff!! ❤️There are so many possibilities, isn’t it? I have always wondered what they could have been more than what they are right now.

As you mentioned PS will probably not go into this. I think they want to stick to light drama and light hearted storytelling. Even the kangan kaand could have be so much more angsty. I wonder if they will just have a 3-4 episode track where the Shiva-Dev-Raavi is touched upon, but it will probably be dealt with lightly and then end in YKB, somehow 🤣

You could be right about it! The flavour of the show has been light-hearted, positive and at the same time it doesn’t dig deeper into human emotions. It gives me a feel of Sooraj Barjatya movies where everything becomes about loving the family.😆

Thank you so much for your feedback and comments🤗

Thank you so much, my soul sister 🤗You are right About Ravi. That brings me back to the dialogue which she had given Shiva just before the Baraat scene! She says that she has been born to outsmart him. Can’t help but deliberate on the fact that she would want to annoy him every time he is around.🤣

The first scene you posted, he knew made a mistake by pouring the drink on her hence the head hung in shame and apologized but only on the insistence of Dhara.

True! He had made a huge mistake out of impulsive anger and he realised it very soon when Dhara scolds him.

You are right about him being closed, unable to share his thoughts or feelings even at a young age. He grew up fast, wanted to help his brother, mother and the family even at that young age. Such people close all the avenues to reach them.

He is A box full of complications. He isn’t quiet, but he is closed. He isn’t an emotional, but he has a tornado of emotions bottled up. He is flamboyant, yet there is a certain part of him which anchors in loneliness. It’s difficult to reach out to the real Shiva. I probably can go on writing essays about him😆

For a moment he thought Raavi was on his team when he made Mami slip on the marbles but though she enjoyed his antics, she made it clear that she will always be on Dev' team. As an adult and now that they are married, it is not possible for her to be on Dev's team and I am sure in a way it is a big relief to him. Today's episode is an example to that. She assured that she will be there for him when they were going to run away, so did he

Whatever him and Raavi have said to each other in childhood, only the opposite has happened in their adulthood.

Whenever Dev-Shiva-Raavi clash happens, that would be the day we will ever get to know what he thought about Raavi when they were kids. Until then Shiva is going to be closed and will make an effort to mask his thoughts and feelings.

That'd beautifully articulated. 🤗

I would really want to know the same as well. This entire Dave Ravi Shiva angle on Ravi’s birthday has given me a new hope, which I am sure that will be crushed with Danda Pandya 🤣🤣🤣Thank you so much for your wonderful insights. I always love reading your takes on all my posts.

Piu, I did not take it on a sad note as I saw a progression in Shivi’s journey. We understand that both Raavi and Shiva got into this marriage unwillingly. However, now Raavi is starting to accept this marriage and Shiva. She hasn’t yet reached that point where she is on the same page with her husband about their relationship. But gradually with time, she will reach that destination. When that happens Raavi will see her relationship with Shiva in a new light and will start to treasure even the tiniest memory she has with him. For the moment Shiva needs to live with the bitterness (I see it as temporary turbulence)😉

Agree with what you have said about Dev🤣

Sighhhhh!

That Song did break my hearttoo. I miss him somuch

Strangely, Veer’s loss has become very personal😭 and I too miss our daily discussions about him😒
