Didn't we have a similar scene with KM going to Kuldevi temple with the family, Mullai cooking for everyone and Kathir helping her. Though they ended up fighting but then story turned around after the accident. Also Kanna was hit by Janardhan for talking to Meena's sister. Kathir inturn slapped Janardhan, Meena questioned Kathir and Mullai came in support of Kathir at that time. That is also the point where there was progression. I understand Janardhan's scenes wouldn't have been possible but atleast the misunderstanding truth should have come out, would have moved the story forward. Now Shivi story is stuck and the writers don't have anything to show other than the nok-jhoks.

Meena was also initially unbearable to watch but they did not do the chudail/booth drama to make her realize the importance of family. And Jeeva is equally a strong character. With the way they are showing DevTa, shouldn't Dev's character make an impression?

I have no clue, which way the story is going to go as there is nothing for us to predict and nothing for Shivi love story unless Mami is the only who can make the difference.

They also used Kasturi ( Anita) to a large extent to bring KM together. Here Anita is stuck between Mami and Suman😕

yeah.. they showed gradual progress between KM from hate to dislike to understanding and then liking. I wish they stick to the original if they don't know how to move the story. Mullai first began to understand kathir when she saw him break down drunk, i wonder if that's what they're moving towards 😕

Jeeva is my favorite character after kathir, i hate what they've done to dev here! they've made him into a cardboard cutout 🤢

@bold, my feelings exactly. I'm not really looking forward to the next ShiVi scene knowing what Raavi truly feels about Shiva... knowing the CVs, we'll probably get a few nok-jhoks to appease the audience, but they certainly will not be fulfilling as they have been in the past.

i will tolerate meaningless nok jhoks too.. but i really don't want raavi to insult or blame shiva for everyone in the family being sad 😕

That is my concern with the scenes today. All GauRa talked about was batwara but what about the beating she gave. I did not see any scene where she repented unless I missed it. I watched the full scene in its entirety. Also her constant mollycoddling of DevTa is not going well with me. She went to their room to give Rishita, kada but she cannot check on SHiva and Krish😭

she doesn't deserve to be called a mother after her abominable behavior 😡

Kathir-Jeeva have an awesome relationship just like Shiva-Krish here. But the CVs played with that as well in this version😭I don't know what to make of Dev-Shiva here😕

Their relationship wasn’t like this. The girl who did a chole andolan for him is now telling Dhara only he should’ve gotten beaten up.

i love kathir-jeeva! they have such a beautiful bond of respect, understanding and trust

in fact all the 4 pandian brothers have a beautiful relationship

here except for shiva-krish there truly is nothing 🤢

I love the importance of family, but I am sorry, individuals matter too. They have hopes, dreams and ambitions. It's not a crime to love yourself too. Dev refused a job. Freaing stupid. He could have taken the position to support more financially and maybe later migrate to a chain of stores with his MBA degree. Plan better. Invest in the strategic growth of the business while Shiva does operations and hard work.

Raavi needs to think beyond cooking for the family. What's precisely her ambition? Rishita apparently is educated more? What's her dream?

Exactly! This ideal family that they are trying to portray is not a real thing! They are trying to create a palace of happiness on the foundation of sacrifices of their individual hopes, dreams, and ambitions. Relationships need adjustment and compromises but not sacrifices!

@bold - I second that! But no, they won't do this in the show. Their whole life will remain centered around this one small store!

Raavi's dream seems to become a perfect housemaker, I have nothing against that. In fact, I respect her choice for the job of housemaker is an extremely difficult one. And it is her own choice, nobody forced her to make this choice.

But Rishita, ah, I ain't sure about her. She doesn't seem to want anything else other than being loved and cared for by Dev and Dev alone😆Her desire is to have Dev's life revolve solely around her. Other than that she seems to want to do nothing.

The makers used Yaadon ki Baraat song in the last scene in a split screen with GauRa on one side and Dev-Krish-Shiva on the other side. I did not want them to use it and there is no purpose for it anymore😕They have already justified Dhara's actions in today's episode, don't know what else they are going to show to make her a Mahaan😭

This might be an unpopular opinion, but I still feel Raavi's character has not been ruined completely by the makers. She is still the same innocent, pure soul who is ready to give her everything for the one who gives her even an ounce of love. Here is why :

Today she felt bad for Krish but her words did not indicate that she felt bad for Shiva but I am sure deep down she was hurt to see Shiva beaten (her expressions yesterday spoke a million words) . I know why she felt so bad for Krish , its because Krish was the only person who truly tried to cheer her up, she found that one person in the family who actually loves her and she is ready to give her everything for him. Krish has become like her own brother. Remember his dialogue "Agar aap apni ijjat nahi karoge toh koi dusra aapki ijjat nahi karega" , those words have etched on her heart. She truly adores Krish.

Now coming to Shiva, we as audience know how Shiva is and what he feels. Raavi knows Shiva as the person who left her alone with the goons. I know where her anger is coming from. The goons could have hit her, killed her or done much worse than that (Remember one goon tried to hit on her and call her his laila). If something like this would have happened to me, I would have reacted much worse than Raavi. CVs need to clear the misunderstanding soon for her to start seeing the other side of Shiva.

Even though Dhara was one of the reason for her miseries, she still cares for her (while from Dhara's side I still dont see it). She was the one who went to her with the ointment. I feel Raavi is too good to be associated with Dhara.

Yes one thing I want is Dev-Raavi closure, Raavi should direct most of her anger to him because he betrayed her and left her at the altar. Thats the one thing that I feel where writers have butchered her character. She needs to talk to Dev and vent out her frustration, only then she will be able to move on with Shiva. And that good-for-nothing Dev should be the one to apologize

Is there anything left to not ruin? I skipped today's episode because I knew I won't be able to tolerate more of this drama. I am gonna wait till this arc settles and only watch in case ShiVi scenes are shown.
