I don't understand that if they had to show only Gaura ka pyaar n other three brothers ka pyaar ka progression.. toh unn dono ki shaadi kyu karwayi.. aise hi chalne dete🤢

ShiVi ke expectation nahi chod sakte!! Mera bechara dil toh abhi bhi ye hope me hai ki kal ointment scene ka continuation milega with Raavi applying ointment on Shiva's wounds...I think this next track will bring ShiVi closer as per Dhara maata's predictions. I am done with the two other couples in the show!

I wish she would put everything aside and be kind & compassionate. And he would meet her half way and have a talk. Maybe even tell her that she has no reason to feel as if she’s responsible for him. That they can share tasks and try to work together for the family.

@bold, my feelings exactly. I'm not really looking forward to the next ShiVi scene knowing what Raavi truly feels about Shiva... knowing the CVs, we'll probably get a few nok-jhoks to appease the audience, but they certainly will not be fulfilling as they have been in the past.

Haven't seen the episode but I want to chip in on raavi Shiva..

Their relationship hasn't reached the point where they feel anything for each other. In the past also , we got raavi telling him the most disgusted things ..Basically one is unable to gauge her reaction in any scene. So no surprises there..

But they killed the dhara I adored 🤢 Brutally kill her. On the top of that , she doesn't feel guilty for hitting Shiva and krish in a rage. Literally, this is the lowest low for ps🤢

Hoping for better tracks after this Pooja is over

Didn't we have a similar scene with KM going to Kuldevi temple with the family, Mullai cooking for everyone and Kathir helping her. Though they ended up fighting but then story turned around after the accident. Also Kanna was hit by Janardhan for talking to Meena's sister. Kathir inturn slapped Janardhan, Meena questioned Kathir and Mullai came in support of Kathir at that time. That is also the point where there was progression. I understand Janardhan's scenes wouldn't have been possible but atleast the misunderstanding truth should have come out, would have moved the story forward. Now Shivi story is stuck and the writers don't have anything to show other than the nok-jhoks.

Meena was also initially unbearable to watch but they did not do the chudail/booth drama to make her realize the importance of family. And Jeeva is equally a strong character. With the way they are showing DevTa, shouldn't Dev's character make an impression?

I have no clue, which way the story is going to go as there is nothing for us to predict and nothing for Shivi love story unless Mami is the only who can make the difference.

They also used Kasturi ( Anita) to a large extent to bring KM together. Here Anita is stuck between Mami and Suman😕

That is my concern with the scenes today. All GauRa talked about was batwara but what about the beating she gave. I did not see any scene where she repented unless I missed it. I watched the episode in its entirety. Also her constant mollycoddling of DevTa is not going well with me. She went to their room to give Rishita, kada but she cannot check on SHiva and Krish😭

Keeping aside the absurdity of the argument that b/c Dhara is bhabhimaa, she is ALLOWED to beat them, would people have the same reaction if the genders were reversed? If a DAD was seen hitting his daughters? Would people still justify it?

Or is the justification happening BECAUSE she is the female lead and considered a positive character. I guess I don't understand why everyone is put on a pedestal? How is itna maarna ke lakdi toot jaaye still considered teaching a lesson?

Also, do people actually believe that maar ne se dono sudhar jaenge? Perhaps for a young and impressionable mind as Krish, woh DAR ke aage se kuch naa kare...but for a strong-willed person like Shiva, its completely absurd to believe, even for a second, ki woh badal jaaenge. That suddenly the pain, and guilt wrt Dhara, will become the triggers for them to start respecting Rishita.

But I guess this entire episode is supposed to be absurd and irrational and trp bait smh. I’ll happily continue watching the trip beginning… tho I should probably slow down.

I wanted to avoid talking about this, but here is my take on this.

Even today a lot of people, families in India do think that “spare the rod, spoil the child”. This is completely NOT justified, it is NOT correct, but it is there, nonetheless.

I have a feeling that a lot of the people on the forum are from more urban, progressive setups. But in small towns, hitting as a form of discipline is normalized. You may not have seen it in your vicinity, but it is very much prevalent in certain strata of society in India( I grew up in such a household. My family members still stand by it 🤷‍♀️)

I strongly suspect a large portion of the TRP audience are tied to such households. If you have followed ITV for last 2-3 decades, they have pulled worse crap than this.

When I see ITV shows, I generally tend to disengage the part of me that looks for sensitive protrayals and sensible family meme era. There have been a lot of discussions on the effects of TRPs on shows. Let’s not go down that rabbit hole.

I look at this way. You are taking an outsiders look at a family. The members are always a mix(as in real life) where you love some, you hate some. Family members sometime do heinous things- humans sometimes do heinous things. Not everyone repents, not especially the way you want to. And you can’t do anything about it.

Case in point-Maami. She was truly cruel before the leap. What she did was truly heartbreaking for the family- PS family have struggled so much for her insensitivity and cunningness. But today we look forward to her scenes as comic relief and complain about what the poor thing is going through by Suman.

Detachment is the name of the game. Look out for what you like. Ignore the crap. Hope for better outcomes. It’s a show at the end of the day. No point getting your BP up for it.

That said, I am not condoning beatings. It is bad, it should not happen, and it is a good sign that so many people are speaking up. Hopefully the next generation of people watching ITV shows don’t get to see such scenes( I know for the longest time ITV used to normalize marital rape, especially Ekta serials. But now it is looked down upon. I hope)

Sorry for the long rant, but it’s heartbreaking to see everyone so down on the forum. Hoping for better days ahead!

I’m very disappointed yaar. This was supposed to be the 100th episode so I expected some good Shivi scenes. Instead, we got Raavi telling Dhara that she should’ve only hit Shiva.

Their relationship wasn’t like this. The girl who did a chole andolan for him is now telling Dhara only he should’ve gotten beaten up.

Dhara-Raavi Scene

Everyone knows my soft corner for Raavi, given her fragile emotional state.

The anger and lashing out at her by Dhara again today broke my heart. I don't mind her being okay with the beating. We need to understand that she might have been genuinely witnessing all this beating since childhood, so it's normal to her. We can't expect her to start respecting Shiva within five days because he is her unwanted husband now. She did take the ointment for both of them but left because of Dev. So, I am assuming Dev is still a sore topic for her, and they both need to resolve by verbalising an apology from Dev and Raavi just closing it with him.

Dhara screaming at her-Why, can't she take care of Shiva is gaslighting of another level! Like Dude, why the f***k did she get her devars married if she still wanted to be the center of their universe? Only to procreate? I am sorry but this strange Dhara is extremely toxic! Pyar, samman and Izzat cannot be beaten into people. I am sorry but no! Her partial treatment towards Rishita is unbearable to watch.

I am all in for a story that involves a considerable attraction but emotionally distant Raavi! That'd probably be the first time I shall see such exciting dynamics between a couple.

Shiva and his emotional loneliness are so evident even with all the brothers hugging. We see there's no malice in his heart, and he is in love with his brothers. If you'd notice Shiva, he is someone who internalises his grief or feelings. He is vocal as passionate only when it comes to emotions like love for his family or anger. Deep down, the part which he internalises is highly vulnerable and distant from everyone. It’d be such a pleasure to watch Raavi touch that extremely hidden part of him.

For once, I don't want Shiva to fall for Raavi because she cares for the family. I find that the most bizarre reasons on ITV! Look she fed me, I love her for cooking my favourite food. Look, she respects my family. Those can be added bonuses, but two individuals should fall in love because they found each other compatible and not merely due to family.

I love the importance of family, but I am sorry, individuals matter too. They have hopes, dreams and ambitions. It's not a crime to love yourself too. Dev refused a job. Freaking stupid. He could have taken the position to support more financially and maybe later migrate to a chain of stores with his MBA degree. Plan better. Invest in the strategic growth of the business while Shiva does operations and hard work.

Raavi needs to think beyond cooking for the family. What's precisely her ambition? Rishita apparently is educated more? What's her dream?

How long can you just rely on a shop to meet expenses.
