I’m finding KDH review more amusing than the actual show itself. Their criticism about KRQ’s writing & Haseeb’s direction was on point. I feel bad for the actors who gave so much to this flop show, wish they had read the scripts before signing, estimated their screen space, refused to enact poor scenes & obnoxious dialogues. Every scene that Nadia, Atiqa or Marina reviewed had serious problems and we all have it discussed it here, nothing new. This criticism has to be taken constructively by the actors as lessons learned and move forward. Wahaj is a brilliant actor and I always feel, his best is yet to come. Even though the show had failed him, Wahaj didn’t fail BA. However his next projects will be under scrutiny. Usama has few shows in his kitty, so he’s fine too. As Atiqa suggested, Haseeb will have a better career at wedding videos😂🤣

I didn’t watch this week’s but I’ve watched their reviews on this before and I don’t always agree with them. They have consistently rated Maya higher in acting than Wahaj. And while I don’t think she’s as bad as what some people think, I don’t agree with this assessment. Some of their criticism is totally valid.

My point is, the show bombed, at least when it comes to trps. The problems of the show have been discussed to no end. It’s been filmed and is now airing, there is nothing they can do to fix this show….it’s done! Us discussing the issues of the show is different here because we actually watch the show or some members are considering if it’s worth watching. KDH ladies aren’t enjoying it but are continuing because people like to laugh at their reviews? Seems like a weird thing to do with your own industry.

If the goal is for Haaeeb and Wahaj to take feedback then they either will or they won’t. Haseeb is rather defensive 😒 They have heard enough feedback…after a point, it comes out as hate and quite honestly it’s hard to differentiate what is actual constructive criticism. When it becomes excessive and repetitive, it’s less effective. My fear is that the actual constructive criticism won’t really be taken seriously. Coming from the audience makes sense but I don’t know, maybe it’s just a weird concept to me for it to come from your own industry. I don’t know, I just haven’t seen it before I guess.

I hope they show Bilal being something more than the same depressed poet. May be a scene where he is handling business ? His character is also becoming stale.

Yeah enough of Bilal sulking. We’ve seen the emotional side of Bilal, high time they focus on his resilience, while the loser batch ruin themselves.

@bold this is what I feel ....if you dont like a show just stop reviewing...constant trolling about your industry people doesnt make sense..its not even a fun roasting which SH does..it comes across as harsh criticism and after a certain point comes across as hatred.

Even I found them ranking Maya higher than Wahaj funny..maybe because the expectations are higher from Wahaj or because he got an author backed role and Maya's character is not that good...though I m not saying that Maya is a bad actress..but definitely Wahaj has a higher range than that of Maya..Wahaj emotional scenes in all of his shows are different ..so definitely he has a better range.

I have stopped taking reviewers seriously now.

But right now,I dont want to watch this track.

The biggest issue with Wahaj shows is too much emphasis is given on chemistry and Romance during promotions and this is harming show. They are not letting things go organic and people start watching show with lot of expectations and feel disappointed . He should be careful in picking his next show maybe move away from this genre and try something different so he can break away from this Chemistry tag .

The big issue is that all that chemistry and romance over-emphasis in promos and drama photoshoots is MISLEADING. The shows themselves do not give you what is being sold, so OF COURSE viewers will be disappointed. 22Q ki marketing was misleading on screenspace but did not falsely hammer you with romance and chemistry that is not in the show. But in Mein, MJ and Zaid were not even romantically involved, and Zanjabeel even said that Zaid was not in love with MJ. In SMD also, they are showing all these romantic moments in photoshoots, bts, ost but how the show itself does not have anything like that. They bombard us with all these PS pics of Bilsad being romantic post-e19 only to give ultra pro-max cringy romantic scenes with Sadaf and Ammar in e20. All this fake marketing is frankly distasteful and looks desperate by now.

If you are marketing something as some epic grand romance, never before love story, passionate chemistry, redefining love, at least read up what genre conventions and expectations are. Agar action drama mai action nahi hoga toh log bura hi bolenge. Agar suspense thriller mai suspense or thrill nahi hoga toh log bura hi bolenge. Same way here.

What Wahaj needs to get away from is branding his projects as this genre when they are ACTUALLY not that genre. Mein was family melodrama. SMD is KRQ's philosophy on different types of love and not a love story between two people. When people don't see any romance or chemistry in a drama that was not written or set up to give romance and chemistry toh ulta khud ki reputation kharab hogi that his chemistrying was a one time fluke.

Thats why I said that he should do a show where he has no love interest at all . Would be a much needed change for both him and the audience.
