What Wahaj needs to get away from is branding his projects as this genre when they are ACTUALLY not that genre. Mein was family melodrama. SMD is KRQ's philosophy on different types of love and not a love story between two people. When people don't see any romance or chemistry in a drama that was not written or set up to give romance and chemistry toh ulta khud ki reputation kharab hogi that his chemistrying was a one time fluke.

But that's not upto Wahaj. It's the producers who decide that . 22 Qadam makers put him in the centre of every poster despite him having a supporting role . We all know about Mein and SMD. . Even MPHT focused more on Areeb's family than Saad and Maheer. The only show where this type of promotion was justified is TB

Agar aap ke naam pe project sell hota hai toh you need to be more diligent on how your image and brand is being used. Itna frequently false advertising kisi aur ke saath kyun nahi hoti. ppl will use and dispose u like old tissue paper if u let them.

The artist part in MPHT OST was false but at least you understood that it will be a love triangle. The posters also always had three of them too. SO it was never a Mahir-Saad story only.

Agree, he should be clear with team as not to promote the show as something else . Example - Zaid -MJ were never explored in show but we had a lovely OST wherein people even speculated MJ could be preggie but the show didn’t even show Zaid having conflict between MJ . Maria B PS had more hearts fluttering than show. Same goes with SMD why promote show as some never seen love story when FL is to be shown marring someone else, and how will they even justify Sadaf jumping ships from Amaar to Billal . Like someone said Wahaj potential as actor and his camaraderie with such good actresses is being wasted .

Wahaj can never say no to Kadwani for anything . He owes his success to him . He has just become famous and wouldn’t want to take panga with big shots like Fahad Mustafa either. Already Hum tv has stopped working with him.

Mein was the worst in my opinion. It was never a romance between MJ and Zaid and didn’t include any real scenes in the OST. They never told us what a big part Ayra had in it.

SMD still marketed it like a one-sided love story and tbh the wedding scenes with her and Ammar complete with her signing the papers were in the OST. The problem is that they show us one thing in the episode and put something completely different on SM. We get these beautiful pictures of Bilal and Sadaf that get a good response but yeah, what we see in the show is gross romance between Sadaf and Ammar that no one is interested nor invested in.

I think this was a breaking point for a lot of people. We not only got cringey romance but no Wahaj in the episodes. Unless it really turns around, I can’t see most viewers returning. Let’s see…

I think there won’t be any redemption as such , she will simple see the reality and break off things with Amaar . If BA being the donor didn’t change her opinion on him then nothing else can top it .
