Geo still has humraaz for a potential ratings grab. With the promotions that Ayeza is doing lately , I wouldn’t be surprised if it came soon and replaced jn
The last 2 teasers should have been among the first ones to be released . They make it seem more than just another Geo show.
Once the show starts and it’s good, these things would cease to matter. If a show clicks, how the teasers did becomes irrelevant.
I get why Geo did the sequence they did. They wanted the focus on Wahaj so the first few focused on him.

KMKT's TRPs were never low. E3 got a 9.3 and from e4 onwards, KMKT TRP consistently exceeded 10. E15 is when it first got TRP > 15, but before that, it was still getting double-digit TRPs. KMKT had the benefit of not having much competition from Geo or Hum in these slots, so even when it hadn't blown up, it could still get double-digit TRPs.
If SMD was airing on Fri-Sat, it seems more plausible to get TRP similar to KMKT in its initial episodes. But it seems Kaddu decided to save that timeslot which has any TRP potential left for possibly Humraaz.
Unfortunately for SMD, it also seems to be coming at a time when audience taste is shifting towards more naturalistic and realistic storytelling (KMKT), or fresh treatment of old tropes (Noor Jahan, Radd), or different genres (Duniyapur). KRQ's scandals have also dulled his shine.
Of course, this discussion is about initial episodes only.Once it airs, how future episodes depends on audience connect.

i agree at the end noorjahan performed great affecting rating of both jafaa and jaan nisaar.
earlier jafaa could reach 9-10 but noor jahan got all trp and jafaa went to 5-6.
bismil is already getting 15 . it is really difficult to get double digit with bismil in competition .

These days no promotions works. KMKT didn't get good views even after so much overpromotion. It picked up only after its story started to get some praises from neutral audience.
Thank god People are keeping realistic hopes and expectations from Wahaj's new show. Otherwise There were high hopes of 15+ trp and 20+ million views from Gentelman for a new channel Green. Poor Yumna got extreme shading due to this .
