TRP aye na aye, let's hope we are served a compelling story and good performances and an enjoyable experience. After Mein, I hope Wahaj gets a chance to shine and showcase his acting talent, which is what I want to see from this project.

Although if Kaddu really wanted to maximize SMD TRPs, he should have aired it on Fri-Sat once JN had finished.

I had no idea Hareem became so popular. But the show actually is so bad that its good and I watched recent episode and enjoyed it lol. And now there will be high voltage drama soon with Savera getting to know about the marriage and the Saads character I think will die. So it still has potential to gain more ratings. SMD should be really good to overshadow it.

Off topic but I genuinely love your posts like these even when the subject matter isn’t something I care about!

Lately in this thread i've noticed subtle digs at your fact based reporting and well researched evidence but honestly it’s far superior to just pulling numbers out of thin air for the sake of internet oneupmanship!

They have fumbled hard on the SMD teasers. Mahaj have failed to attract audience as a pair. You know something is wrong when people are liking the hero with the 2nd lead more than the main heroine. And it’s not just reddit ( where Wahaj isn’t liked much BTW), even check the comments on insta or YT. Not every one can be TB or YumHaj fan .

Also the OST is annoying and a huge turn off. To have a hit drama, a catchy OST is a must. I was thinking something around 10.0 would be nice but now even crossing MJ would be a win. Rest depends on how the show actually is.

I don’t take reddit seriously at all when it comes to Wahaj. It reeks of insecurity and so much harsh scrutiny which isn’t applied on other actors. Sure, people can have opinions on the teasers. They can like Hira and Usama more or whatever. They’ve worked in this industry a long time and have fans as well. Plus there are so many dynamics in the story with multiple pairings, there are bound to be opinions since there are options.

I think only once it airs will we know how it does. It’s KRQ. The teasers have been good in the sense that people have a good idea of what they’re signing up for. The alcoholic angle, the unrequited love, so people are prepared. I’m personally excited to see Wahaj in this role. Curious to see how he’ll play it. I have hopes that it’ll do well for him.

Agree on the OST though.

The last 2 teasers should have been among the first ones to be released . They make it seem more than just another Geo show.

Like kmkt smd is going to need great word of mouth for its hype to be picked up . With so many characters , geo’s unnecessary dragging , and krq’s long dialogues, I think it’ll take time for it to catch on unlike kmkt
