I think the love story of ana and shahmeer will grab more eyeballs, I'm looking forward to that. Also if it had double episodes the story would move forward quickly.

Duniyapur is a mega project with lots of money involved so expectations are higher. We can’t compare it with Iqtedar where the production value is so low. It’s not star studded like Duniyapur.

Duniyapur is performing well on youtube. I guess this is going to be their most watched show on youtube. But TRPs aren’t that great. It has to break KP’s record to prove that it’s well received. That’s the BM in TRPs for Green till now.

Ya agreed but for that they should have aired it twice a week for better engagement and involvement of audience. My interest in this show is for the love story, but epi 2 had absolutely no scene of ramsha and kushal.

I know it's a ensemble starcast show with many arcs and dynamics and it'd take a while to start the lovestory that's why a two episode per week would be have been better to get higher ratings and views.

Also considering it's a different concept and dark themed, it's good to see that atleast it's having more than 1.5 trps

I am liking the supporting cast more. Their performances are very good & the plot is intriguing. I am not invested in their love story. I would like to see the change in power dynamics.

The drop isn’t as steep as GM’s. It went from 3.8 of first week to 1.9 for second week.

Or Wesy bi in this digital world who watch a drama on tv? Trp has become old parameter for a show popularity. Even our parents stopped watching most dramas on tv and prefer YouTube. So in terms of YouTube Views green shows getting really good views even more views than some Hum dramas starring biggest superstars like Sajal in ZpKB and Bilal in MJ. So Its win Win situation for Green

I agree with you that nowadays most of us watch dramas and films online. But TRPs will always remain relevant because that's the actual number of people watching it live on TV. Whereas on YT same person can watch an episode many times and its views will increase. There are many other ways to increase views which are not authentic.

I'm not discrediting YT views but I feel choosing to watch a particular drama on a channel at a specific time over other channels on TV will always be more valuable than watching it on YT anytime I like. That's dedication 😀

ghair is not doing as great as other ary shows, and hum tv miniseries are not an audience puller, so jaan nisar is able to be slot leaders. while it was competing with noor jahan and jaan e jahan in this slot, ary used to be the slot leader,

Yeah. I know NJ used to lead slot but even then JN trp hasn't been that bad. Its just that contnent is bad and still these two are pulling audience. Otherwise there is nothing in JN worth watching

JN is a mega blockbuster in terms of YT views but in terms of TRPs, it did just ok (hit category at best). Average TRP is 7.8 and episode-wise TRP crossed into double-digits just 4 times (and never exceeded 11). Part of this is due to the competition in Fri and to some extent Sat slots. You can see that when Jafa was competitive, JN's Fri TRPs were the lowest as JN had competition from both ARY and Hum. Sat was mainly ARY competition so TRPs were higher than Sat. Sun had highest TRPs among the 3 days because only competitor was Hum. Once NJ ended and/or Jafa TRP started to fall, you can see JN start to get better TRP on Fridays as well, even though overall content quality of JN dipped.
