Writers really need to understand that sad endings don't necessarily translate to epic memorable endings all the time and shock value is not always good for the story. An ending must, above all else, be satisfying.
Someone gets killed every day in Duniyapur. What difference would two more make? If they really wish to surprise the audience in a positive way then they would let AnaMir live in peace.
The way the writer is creating the climax to be a wedding it reminds me of the red wedding. A lot of the audience has seen game of thrones, Khushhal and Ramsha even talked about it in their Duniyapur interviews. So you see good characters did die all the time in that show just to serve the purpose of shocking the audience and that’s it. But for me coherence is so important. Logically this show needs to show the healing of the place which is the city Duniyapur. How can that just be done by an outsider like Mir Hasan? People on the inside who have lived in this place need to break the cycle of violence and that’s what Ana and Shahmir represent. If the writer kills them off it’s like he didn’t even understand his own story or respect it
