I think this is possible. The engagement pictures might actually be reception pictures. Salar’s family holds a reception to save face. Then we have Sitara pursuing LLB and Salar actually realizing his love-trying to prove it to Sitara who is not giving him the time of the day. That might be the 2nd half of the story

I do not think they are going to marry like that although he might do the switching thing. In nikah, they do read out the names of the people getting married, get right names on the nikahnama and signing the nikahnama. Otherwise the marriage contract would be invalid. He cannot do it like in ITV jahan 7 pheron ke baad pata chalta hai ki dulha koi aur hi hai. Plus there are BTS pics of Kaffara with Sitara is a beautiful glamed up rose red wedding dress, upto the standard of a future bahu of Sikandar khandan, and Ehtisham in a black salwar pajama, full wedding glam. I think Salman wants to shift the blame on Sitara and Salar. Salar wanted his name to come up but Salman being the snake that he is, will want to throw Sitara to the wolves under Salar's name, saying that Sitara still meets Salar and ultimately when he runs right before the wedding, he will blame Salar and his dhamki and pretend to be the victim. He told his own family's lies too after all. He is trapping the entire family and thinking that by doing that and going faraar, he will have his cake (tormenting both Sitara and Salar) and eat his cake too (have riches etc while still being his family's good books). Salar is going to realise this and pull the rug from under his feet at the last moment.

Perhaps the restaurant dhamki is the test. Salar will no longer contact Sitara after it and Sitara will think that not only Salar failed the test, no body actually loves her in any manner, only for Salar to sabotage the wedding. He will save Sitara and Sitara will see that he did indeed came through. Unfortunately, we might have to sit through this torture till then.

So Salar is getting Qasim fired and then may not even allow him to get a job in Karachi or Pakistan (Salman's offer is completely separate from Qasim's job offer). As much as enjoy a possessive Salar, Salar please do not become a villain-lite.

if Salar switches, I don’t think he will hide lol. I think Taya will have no option but to agree to save face when Salar shows up instead of Salman. Sitara will say yes for the sake of Taya’s izzat. Salman did say his wedding has to be nice. Sitara looks fancy but not Tahir-level-riches fancy lol.

Omg the last part- hope she doesn’t put him through a twisted test like that.

Is Rang Mahal as interesting as this show? Need something else to watch

Was just thinking about whether Salar truly has realised that he is in love or not and made me think of how love is an emotion where people surrender to that feeling. In the promo, when Sitara tells him that she wants to test his love, he is confused for a moment because he says "meri mohabbat?" Sitara has to prompt him back "karte ho na?" and he gives a slightly inconfident reply before recollecting his confidence. My theory is that Sitara can sense this hesitance. I don't think that she is completely wrong when she says that he is not in love with her. Even I get the feeling that Salar is labelling what he is feeling as love only because a number of people around him are labelling it as love. Don't get me wrong. Salar IS definitely falling in love but he has not reached that ultimate stage yet while others around him can see that he already speeding down the hill called love. He is obsessed with Sitara. He wants his happy companion from Hyderabad back. He absolutely hates it when some other male interacts with her in a romantic context and despises it when Sitara shows any kind of bias or affection to another male. Faced with the prospect of losing her to marriage, he is offering himself in marriage. In his mind, as long as he can keep her safe and happy by his side and the only man she cares about or is able to associate with is him, he and she will be perfectly fine.

We can see that hesitance in his confessions as well. One is a sad text. The other a semi-arrogant demand. Also, while he was talking to Sitara at the beach, one thing to notice is that he was wearing glasses. Sitara cannot see his eyes and his body language is arrogant and demanding. On Sitara's challenge, Salar is doing everything he can to chase off Salman AND keep Qasim out at the same time. But has he truly surrendered to what he is feeling? I think not and Sitara's restaurant rejection will be what breaks that last wall that keeps him from surrendering to love. In the promo launch, you can see Salar's eyes as Sitara tells him that she can never love him. It is as though he is in disbelief at what he is hearing, his heart can be seen breaking in his eyes, his head just shaking slightly. Ali is a fantastic actor and he emotes so well especially with his eyes and praises are his birthright for this show. Honestly, that should be where Salar's last barrier to truly embrace his love breaking should happen. He will probably want to flee and hide himself in his hurt, not anger and wounded pride, just plain heartbreak, but I think by then his family will come through as his support system and this time he will go back to fight for his love because even though she might not love him back, he will not abandon her to destruction.

Salar's current feelings, his obsession, his care, his protectiveness, his possessiveness, are like the first rays of the sun before it rises. Like Junaid said, before the sun rises, it makes sure to show its colours through dawn. That is exactly what is happening now. And once Salar is truly in love and truly embraced his feelings, Sitara will be able to feel his love, the full warmth of it, even without him saying a word and she will be able to trust him and will possibly finally choose him over that wretched family of hers. I hope this is how things go. Otherwise, there should not be any reason why Salar looked confused or hesitated for a bit considering all the actions he is doing belongs to that of a majnu.

Lol. You are right. Even that can also happen. Salar can be a total kameena and this can be one way. Especially if Salman has run away.

Also, just rewatched the scene where Sitara, Sana and Salman were shopping and Sitara was choosing her wedding dress. The dupattas look different even though they are of the same colour so....hmm...

He is her little brother at the end of the day after all. Plus younger siblings do stupid stuff all the time. As an older sibling, I assure what Zohaib needs is a spanking, hopefully from Salar who will be his BIL. After all the trouble he made Junaid go through, I think even Salar deserves a taste of it.
