aww, nice salar-sitara scenes as usual. sitara does feel for him but hasn't fully accepted her love for him consciously due to their past interactions. she did seem affected when her friend said salar shouldve died in front of the car. zoya bhabhi is the best SIL.

nimi is irritating & salman & etisham are clowns of the family. kiran as usual is the gossip-monger lol.

That is the only show I remember not liking. I don’t know but the show took a 180 degree turn after their marriage. Like he liked her before but after marriage we don’t get to see even a glimpse of his liking for her. And the girl who used to dislike him became something else and the ending where she was like my husband, my husband I didn’t like it. When I watch dramas with possessive guys I would certainly prefer girls who don’t accept them easily.

I don’t like the way the dramas focus on girls being the ones who come under ’after marriage, love will automatically happen.’ And the guys won’t change after marriage, they continue with their affair and bring the other girl to their home but the quote doesn’t apply to guys but at the end they get happy ending because the girl with her patience makes a place for her in the guy’s heart. This whole thing I don’t like.

Plot convenience. If Qasim had come by himself, it would have reflected that he has changed &, he truly loves Sitara, and the writer doesn't want this, so they are bringing him back through Salar.

I am also pretty aghast at the way Salar is dealing with things here with his possessiveness. While in a way very romantic, it also comes across as incredibly obsessive and stalkerish. Like he says "kisi aur agar meri mangetar ki taraf dekha bhi to jaan se maar doonga" and scaring the shit out of Salman.

If we see the dramas, it has the vibe of possessive guys. And I don't mind it. I would like to see variety like if I see one male character supportive in one drama then I would like to see a possessive guy in another drama. If we compare it with real life then it's different because in real life, things can escalate and lead to something serious but here we know it's a drama and there will a point where his nature does not turn bad and they will keep it mostly grey. Grey characters are interesting to watch as they bring something to the screen.
