The thing is that Tere bin had an audience and I don't judge the audience on the fact that they watched or love Tere bin. A person has variations in taste, some might love it as an entertainer whereas some hate it.

My problem is the over hyping of this show to the extent that they are calling it unique and those who hated it as stupid. They expect responsibility from the writer, director, actor and PH but forgets the responsibility of them as an audience.

If the audience will keep giving attention to such dramas and ignore dramas like Nauroz then they shouldn't expect anything sensible from the PH.

See I never had any issues with people watching toxic love stories..i myself have enjoyed them in the past and probably will do in future. That completely depends on people how they perceive them to be.. problem occurs when they justify the characters just because they are played by good looking actors or their favourites. Or writer or actors justify saying like Nooran said in her IV that she wants the youth to follow Meerab and Murtasim..I mean, you just cannot give a wrong message in the name of Fairy Tale Love stories..I liked what Shahid Kapoor said during Kabir Singh ( not that he wasn't problematic too) but at least he maintained that Kabir Singh is fictional. If you are slandering Murtasim or Meerab, you aren't slandering Wahaj and Yumna.

Most of the tweets I see, banda good looking hai to butterflies aati hai, Itna chalta Hain.. Shehroz in Aik Sitam Aur was no where near to toxic but we always maintained that we still wouldn't want a Shehroz in our real life because he was also no where close to a sunshine character. He had his own problematic traits which could not be justified.

22 qadam is so goooooood! Fun. It's light, breezy and does seem to have a progressive idea instead of nikah/shaadi

For people who are tired of wahaj, he is more like a supporting role till now. The draw is the girls and their ambition. Very very well made. And no mazloom aurat in sight. Go watch it!

This is the second show I've started following on Green after 'apney hi toh hain'. Dropping 'idiot' bec it just got senseless.

But its true the other way around as well... People who dislike the show call people who love it many uncomplimentary names... Just like fans overhype, others run it down incessantly... For all the praise TB has got, it has an equal amount of hate... Its a two way street

Isn't all this simply a part of todays entertainment business which runs alot of social media buzz and engagement.

As for audiences not watching good content, that happens across all industries. Oscar winning movies usually don't get huge box office success as lets say the fast and the furious franchise. But they have their own audience, they get their own success.

Storytellers will make what they want and find a way to create more viewers. And I'll say it again, if replicating TB success was easy then every channel would be making just that.

I really feel TB doesn't stand anywhere to the actual masterpieces like ZGH, YKS in the past but all these dramas got balanced reviews and appreciation. And hence they are still remember as classics. TB is only remembered for all wrong reasons. No story, nothing. Bas chemistry and I really don't know, I didn't enjoy Yumna and Wahaj's chemistry in TB . Plus this whole overpraising has made me repel more. The chemistry was good but the way it's made out to be , it wasn't upto that level.

ZGH and YKS are masterpieces which will be remembered forever for it's storyline, portrayal, cinematography and etc., but TB will be now remembered for the negativity it has created in last two 20 episodes...

I dropped idiot right after two episodes as well because no matter how much people say that Gulzar is unique that's why he is hated, it doesn't justify his nature of poking nose in every matter and the problematic things they show, like Rameen ditching her parents and running away from the wedding without any authentic reason.

They just made a joke out of parents in it.
