i fink pakistan iz developing however as motorways are being built etc, however natural disasters like da floods n the earthquake hav slowed down the prevention.
Looking at villages people can nw affford televisions in most states so that iz a sign of prevention. A majority of children do attend school that ia a form of prevention as well.

Dear guys!
I think pak is not developing , pak is still there where it was, after earth quake it starts to move bach again. Pakistan is developed in fashionism and fastly going towards wetern culture.
I am in UsA and last year when i went there i was surprised because all girls of my age wear jeans n short skirts, and they were actually laughing on me because i was wearing scarf n was in my traditional dress.I thought like i came to usa instead of pakistan.
Al the time young girls were talking about indian actors, n guys were discussing bipasha n other indian stars.
i dont think there is any kinda progress there. They feel proud to be western and feel awkward in scarf. You will see a lot people in the parties but in religious mehfils you wont see any young peple.
And i think when a youth of certain country go away from their culture and specially from religion, its hard for that country to survive..
I can just pray ,,That Allah Bless My Pakistan and give hidayat to all young people and all the muslims of the world.

i do agree wid u 2 sum extent, but however if u luk around da world 2day media has developed globally around the world. So not jus in pakistan fashion iz common in other third world countries like bangladesh people there dress up westenly 2. I personally believe that the media has helped undeveloped countries 2 develop by showing them the outside world. If you go 2 villages people there are nw gradually sencing da importance of education for boys and girls. More education will make up a developed pakistan.

Going bak 2 da adaption of western culture den dat iz seen as a symbol of richness in pakistan.

Pakistan is developing very fast but sadly not as it should. *sorry if i am repeating stuff, i did not read all of the replies so apologies in advance* Someone said about education...i have not been to pakistan for a while but my cousin recently came and whateva i have heard from her is no where near good...things which go on in schools there...you will not get to see that kind of stuff even in the west!

The country is developing but its becoming more westernized. Its meant to be a muslim country but we do not get to see many practising Islam in that country...some of the high class people are even ashamed to wear the shalwar kameez, i know clothes dont matter. Islam doesnt say wear Shalwar kameez only but it does tell us to wear appropriate clothing, which covers up your body. But how many people do we see following that?....and if you go there with hijab and all they will call you 'backward' and wot not!....Pakistan can be developed by following the islamic rules and regulations but the government itself is corrupt.

We need Peace in pakistan to be successful in anything at all...we need someone to put an end to all the sectarian/political violence...It is developing in some ways as they are building new roads and bringing in new rules about traffic and stuff...but you will get to see that kinds of things only in big cities like Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad etc. Go to the village areas...or some smaller places there won't be much difference...😭😭

Pakistan is definitly DEVELOPING in almost every aspect but plz its important not to compare it from other countries like if some1 whose living in US and havent visit for 3 to 4 yrs then u have no idea , look Pakistan is just 60 year old and if u compare with US then its not fair enough.Anyway Pakistan is now going towards its development process , wat we were and now wat we r u can compare and will Get ur answer. LONG LIVE PAKISTAN, PAKISTAN ZINDABAD.😊

First of all this is just a stupid question. What are you trying to do - make a statement that India's better? I'm sorry but what makes you think that pakistan isn't developing? It is developing in lots of aspects. Yeah, there's some areas in Pakistan that are developing slower than others but Im sure that's the case with India as well. Plus, please lets not compare the dramas because you have no proof that pakistan is copying India's dramas. All dramas have the same story lines - be it indian or pakistani. If tomorrow you say "whats up" to someone, am I gonna sit here and say "oh my god, your copying the americans". Sorry but ridiculous. Plus, majority of pakistani dramas are not like indias and those that are may seem to you because of similar story lines - but the writers all have minds of their owns and you can only create so many "different" stories.

I'm very proud to say that mashallah there have been a lot of improvement and development in paksitani but there're few things which are going against our culture and religion (culture as in good). The new government has played an important role in the progress of Pakistan which is good but as dear sister diya (angelicmadz) said….its becoming more western in terms of dressing and fashion, which is against our values. Another thing which I would like to mention is telly entertainment. Our new young generation is taking a lot of influence of western culture through TV because of which they are going away from their culture, values and religions….one of its example is education…generally speaking not many boys are getting educated or they find it less interested because they are more interesting talking about films or girls. But there is no doubt that PAKISTAN is moving forward then ever….may Allah give our country success in every field inshallah aameen.
Truly,
Sadia.

I disagree with your statement about education. Majority of the boys in Pakistan are getting educated. There are a number that don't in almost every country but that doesn't mean that a lot of them aren't. I know numerous that are. Also even if pakistan is becoming more western in terms of clothing then lets keep in mind that not everyone living in Pakistan is Muslim. Even for those that are and chose to wear revealing clothes than that is their personal choice. Why do people make such a big deal of the western world? Everyone has a god given mind to make their own decisions and choices. I live in the western world and I am still cultured and have my values and beliefs. Lets not blame other countries for whatever is going on. Thanks.
