I know that coming from the US this might be strange, but most of what we all are concerned about in the media is exclusively Indian. If you only heard the jet airways ad that appears on cbs every morning that I drive to sfo, they make fun of the indian accent.

Ya, J, we too have that problem. I feel like slapping them when they make fun of the Indian accent ( and I am applying this to Indians all over, not just those from the sub-continent. Believe it or we "Indians" of Malaysian, Singaporean and other descents have our own accents too. Before any Mod haul me up on this, please read what I said in context and not jump to conclusions.
