CHAPTER 24

she had spent the entire night thinking about her outfit. she woke up early that morning and had spent two whole hours picking her outfit for her date with kailash. she was excited beyond belief & threw all the outfits all over the room. there seemed to be nothing good to wear. all were terrible tops. deepa then had a brainwave. she opened her wardrobe & pulled out the lowest drawer. she took out a white box. it had been a while since she cleared out her closet. this white box held a very special birthday present from her parents. they had gifted it to her during her 21^st birthday. deepa opened the box & took out a beautiful black sari. it was sweet yet simple. perfect for the date. half an hour later deepa stood in front of the mirror admiring her reflection. she had curled her straight hair at the ends, she was dressed in the black sari with matching ear studs. deepa wore the lightest makeup that enhanced her delicate features & simple black bangles adorned her hands. deepa felt radiant & was sure kailash would like her look today as well.

kailash had also changed about 20 shirts, trying to find the perfect shirt to wear for his date. finally he settled on a black polo shirt & straight cut jeans. he didn't gel his hair as deepa had always told him not to gel his hair too flat to his scalp. laughing to himself at her cuteness, kailash drove to deepa's flat. he saw a pretty girl standing by the doorway, she smiled at him as he walked past her. kailash stopped short as he realised that the pretty girl was deepa! "deepa, is that you? wow! u look so… so.. different!" he exclaimed. deepa was dressed in a beautiful black sari & she was looking absolutely gorgeous in it. kailash couldn't take his eyes off her. he was so smitten with her that he kept on looking at her even while driving. "kailash would you please watch the road? I am too young to die in a traffic accident." she remarked sarcastically. kailash apologised hastily & finally concentrated on the road. smiling sheepishly to himself. "so where are we going now?" deepa asked him after a few moments of silence.

"well we are going to one of your favourite places. I think by the time we are done there you are going to give me a big kiss." he smiled cheekily at her. deepa just gave him one of her looks & went "let's wait & see if your that fortunate." kailash liked that attitude of deepa very much. it wasn't that easy to impress her but kailash had always liked challenges. deepa was worth it. he would go through anything to have her by his side. "I am so getting that kiss!" he thought to himself determinedly giving deepa a sidelong look. they reached their destination 15 minutes later. deepa got out & smiled widely. "so this is your surprise venue eh?" she enquired happily. "it sure is." he replied back knowingly.

Wow! Leena. I can't wait for the next details. Here Deepa and Kailash having great time and in Madhu's Durai and Priya are having great time. And I am enjoying this better than the real serial. Why can't they make a good serial like this?

Can anyone let me know who are the actors for Deepa and Kailash, or not yet decided? I have not watched the related serial, but this story is interesting. It would be more interesting with a face on the characters....

deepa is meera vasudevan & she acted in 'Unnai Saranaithen'.😊 kailash is prajin, he acts in 'Anjali' too. as anjali's husband.😉

CHAPTER 25

the place kailash had brought deepa to was Ragavendra Home. "how in the world did you know that I love this place?" deepa asked kailash in surprise. she had never brought anyone here except her closest kin. and since kailash had only recently become close to her, there was no chance that he could know about that place unless someone told him. "one of your very good friends told me about your love for this place. so I thought if I was to bring you on a special date, it should be to a special place. that is why we are here." he replied back, inwardly sighing with relief that deepa liked his special date. deepa seemed really at ease with the place. she knew it so well that she took kailash's hand & led him into the place even without waiting for the guide to arrive.

"you must meet someone special. he is very very close to my heart." deepa sounded really excited as she dragged kailash to the hall. kailash felt his heart sink. she sounded like she really liked that guy. "okay. here he is. kailash meet chinu. chinu meet kailash." deepa introduced kailash to chinu. chinu wasn't a young man like kailash had imagined, he was a sweet little boy. deepa told kailash all about her attachment to chinu. she had meet chinu when she was volunteering at the home. he had been so sweet & since deepa didn't have any siblings of her own, she took chinu to be her onw brother. "wow! ur so kind! you gave your love & time for some kid whom you barely knew." kailash admired deepa's sweet & kind nature. she just blushed & brought chinu to play no the swings. he watched her play with chinu so happily, she seemed to be enjoying herself immensely. her eyes sparkling with happiness & her smile making everything around her a little less brighter. kailash just admired her beauty for the millionth time & wondered if he was going to get the kiss.

"so did you enjoy the trip to the home?" he asked her sweetly. "I know what you are hinting at kailash. you will get the kiss but not now. you must now treat me to a yummy lunch." she told him firmly. sighing in mock disappointment kailash drove to Tandoori Resturant, deepa's favourite north Indian restaurant. "hmmmm… you seem really eager to please me kailash. you are impressing me with one surprise after another." she looked at him knowingly. "anything to get that kiss." kailash laughed naughtily & opened the car door for deepa. deepa blushed slightly but she wasn't going to give him the kiss that easily. there was a long way to go before the day ended.
