Yeah I was also doubting about the confusion between Karthik and Raji since he didn't know her. When the headache was mentioned I had a feeling about something and it looks like something bad happened to Karthik. Waiting to see what happens.

as the major part of the suspense has been disclosed..hereafter i have planned to wrte past and present events simultaneously..so u will be having both past and present in the same part ..

Past -in Bangalore

She yet again glanced at him from the corner of her eyes..and pouted her lips like the previous times..it has been happening for a while..till the time Karthik went aside to attend his phone call..

They were in the terrace ,in the mid of the tuition session..Suddenly Karthik got a call and excused himself and left to the other corner of the terrace to talk..he was walking to and fro talking over phone for the past half an hour with utmost joy and a gleam in his eyes ..laughing and smiling frequently..that's what irked her more..to whom he was talking with this much of zeal...?

She didn't even try to do the single sum given by him..except for spying him around..

"Yaaraa irukkum..ippadi vaai kizhiya sirikaraaru..yen kitta mattum sirikaradhukku kaasu kepaaru.."she chided him ..

"Oru vela girl friend daa irukkumo...?'the thought itself seized her heart bead..

"Cha..cha..appadilaam irukaadhu..."she tried to pacify her baffled mind..

"Oru vela lovers aa irundhaaa?"Another wave of suspect popped up...

"iyoo idhai yosikaama poitome..indha kaalathula love pannaama yaaru irukaanga..college padikkum podhu kooda padikara yaaraiyaavadhu love panni irupaaro..?

She bit her nails in restlessness..

"ippo phone la pesuradhu yaarunnu yeppadi therinjikaradhu?"she literally banged her head for getting some idea..but she can't come up with decent one..

Finally she gave up..and decided to ask him directly once he finished the call..she waited impatiently for him to quit the call..but it seemed he had no idea of hanging down..

Losing her patient finally..she walked towards him..he noticed her from the distance itself and wiggled his brows as if asking for what..

She showed her notebook...

"Sums Mudichitiyaa ..."

He whispered..keeping the phone away from his mouth..

"Ilai doubtu.."

"Wait I will come.."

"I will call u back dear..bye"

He said over the phone before cutting the call..

Her eyes widened in shock..

"Dear..?appo nijamaave Karthik sir avaroda gf kitta dhaan pesittu irundhaaraa?modhalaiye yenakku gf irukkunnu solli irukka vendiyadhu dhane..naan ippadi yemaandhu poi irukka maaten la.."she was at the wedge of crying..with a grumpy face..

"Yenna doubt..?"he asked annoyed eyeing her note book...

"aamaa yerichalaa dhaan irukkum ivarukku..avaru gf oda pesum podhu distrub panniten la.."she grumbled in mind..

Not getting any reply from her he shifted his gaze to her..

"Raji I asked what is ur doubt.."

"Kettaa solluveengalaa?"

"What sort of a question is this..adhaane yennoda velai..yenna doubt nu modhalla sollu.."

"ippo neenga phone la yaaru kooda pesittu irundheenga?"

"What..?idhu dhaan unnoda doubt aa?"

"mmm.."

"R u mad..?it is my personal.."

"Phone la pesinadhu ponnu dhaane..?"

"Raji..mind ur business..naan yaaru kooda phone la pesurengaradhu is none of ur concern.."

"Appo adhu ponnu dhaan.."

"Yes...naan oru ponnu kooda dhaan pesittu irundhen..adhula unakku yenna problem..?"he asked in an exasperated voice..

"Yenakku onnum problem illai..neenga yaaru kooda venaa pesunga..yevlo neram venaa pesunga..adhai kekka naan yaaru...who am I to u..?kudunga.."she grabbed the note book from him and started scribbling in it..muttering something under her breath ...

He couldn't get head or tail out of her strange behavior..but seeing her face red with anger and fuming inside..he smiled inwardly..

"Hey..Raji.. nee saabam yedhuvum kuduthudaadha..yennoda amma kitta dhaan phone la pesittu irundhen..." he said hurriedly..

Her face beamed instantly..and looked at him with astonished face..

"Ammaa vaa?aanaa dear nu soneenga?"

"yenga ammaa yenakku dear dhaan.."he said with a soft voice..

she narrowed her eyes in confusion..

"Yes..i love my mom..indha ulagathulaiye naan adhigamaa love panradhu yenga ammaa va dhaan.."he said with an unknown shine in his eyes..

"Ammaa mela ivlo anbaa?" She admired his nature..she felt she had become one step closer towards his tightly shut heart by knowing his little secret...

"Ivlo neram sum podaama indha aaraaichi dhaan pannittu irundhiyaa?"he asked sternly..

She down casted her eyes in embarrassment...

"aduthavanga yenna panraanganu paarkaradha vittutu..ozhungaa sum podu.."he taunted her strictly..

"iyoo da...Hitler is back to form.." she murmured..

"Yenna sonna...?"he asked with keen eyes..

"Formula solli paarthen sir.."she managed...

"Accident aa?" Raji asked in shock..

Mala aunty described what had happened to karthik ..hearing that Raji felt the land was slipping under her leg..

"Aamaa maa.paavam indha china vayasula ..ivanukku yevlo periya sodhanai ya andha kadavul koduthutaar..idhai yellam nenaichaa..sami kumbida kooda yenakku manasu varaadhu..aanalum yen mana kashtatha vera yaarukitta solradhu..andha perumaala ah vita vera yaara theriyum yenakku..adhanaala innamum avana kumbittutu iruken.."

"Karthik sir..car ottaadhadhukku reason indha paadhipu dhaanaa?"Raji asked ..

"Aamaa innamum avan car otta maataan..avanukku accident panniduvomnu bayam..mudinja varaikkum car la koda yeramaataan...andha oru vishayatha mattum yenna try panninaalum avan change pannikave illai.andha aalavukku aazhamaana kaayam pattirukku avan manasula.."

Aunty sighed in anguish ...

"Idhu theiryaama naan vera rendu vaati andha kaayatha kilari vittuten.."she regretted her stupid behavior..

"How painful it would have been for him..?" she thought with pain..

"Unnai paathadhu yenakku yevlo nimadhiyaa irukku theriyumaa?nee Karthik ah indha suzhal la irundhu velaiya kondu vandhuduva nu yenakku nambikai vandhirukku.."Mala aunty showed some relief..

"Yenna aunty solreenga..?naan yeppadi..?"Raji asked in confusion..

"Raji.. Karthik ku yepapvume un mela oru thani paasam theriyumaa..?..bangalore la irundhappa..yeppavum unnai pathi dhaan yen kitta pesittu irupaan..Raji inniku ippadi panna..appadi pesinaa nu..yedhaavandhu solluvaan...anga irundhu vandha pinnadiyum phone pannum podhellam unnai pathi kekkama phone ah vaika maataan.."

"Yenna kepaaru aunty..?" she asked curiously.

"Nee yeppadi irukka?yenna panra..santhoshama irukiyaa?ippadi kepaan..".

Kadaisi ya..thirupathiku pogum podhu phone pannum podhu kooda..Raji ku result vandhiducha..yenna mark vaangi irukaalo theiyiala nu ketaan.."

Raji's eyes welled in happiness...i know he cares for me always..

"Yennoda Karthik sir.."her heart swelled with pride..

"Aunty neenga kavalai padaadheenga inimel avara naan paarthukaren..."she assured mala aunty..

"andha nambikai yenakku unnai paarthadhum vandhiduchi..inimel yellam sari aagidum paaren..she caressed her cheek lovingly.. "inniku tiffin unakku pudicha kuzhi paniyaaram pannidaren sariayaa..?"

"Aunty ungalukku adhellam niyaabagam irukaa?"

"Adheppadi yen chellatha naan marapen..?"aunty said affectionately..

"Raji maa..nee kulichittu vaa..koluvukku vachi kudukka vaangina chudidhaar la onnu rendu micham irukku..unakku set aguradha yeduthukko.."

Raji nodded..

" sari maa naan poi uncle ah yezhuparen..illaatti..avaru thoongite irupaaru..manushan retired aagi velai vetti illama nalla somberi aagidtaru.."

She said in tired voice..When she was about to leave Raji asked..

"Aunty sir yeppo ready aavaru..?"

After mala aunty had left ..Raji stood before the mirror..

"I think I should go to gym from tomorrow.." she resolute in mind.

Karthik was reading daily newspaper sitting relaxed on the chair placed on the balcony ..sweat beads were lingering on his forehead..which indicating his vigorous exercise session..

Raji knocked the door slowly...

"Come in..."he said loudly looking towards the door..

Raji came inside with reluctant steps..with the coffee cup in her hand..

While she entered the room ..last night's incident flashed in her mind...how she entered in his room in an uncivilized manner and how shamelessly she bumped on him... her legs backed off automatically...

He could read her mind well and clearly understood her plight..he smirked at her mockingly..

"Raji ..u seemed more courteous today...unlike yesterday..."he raised his brows in surprise..with a teasing smirk.

She bit her lips in embarrassment...and looked at him grumbling..he decided to stop his teasing and asked..

"Yenna ?"

She extended the cup to him..he took the cup fixing his gaze on her..and hesitated for a while...

Taking his hesitation in a wrong sense "inniku naan kudichi paarkave illai.." she blurted out without even thinking what she was telling..and bit her tongue hard and closed her eyes in regret inhaling sharply...

"ippa avaru keaatraa..?yaendi ippadi uzhari kotti maatikara...?"she taunted herself hitting her forehead mentally...

He grinned bigger this time..and sipped the coffee slowly..

It tastes different..not like the yesterday's one..might be prepared by ma..

With little disappointment he had the coffee..

Eventually he felt her piercing gaze on him..when his eyes met her eyes it reflected so much of compassion and empathy..

He closed his eyes in frustration.. "indha amma voda velaiyaa dhaan irukkum..kedaichaa oruthi nu indha china ponnu kitta poi yellathaiyum solli irukaanga..."he thought in mind..

"Raji sit.."he ordered..

She silently obeyed his order..

"Yenna amma yellam sollitaangalaa?serial story maadhiri romba interesting aa irundhirukkume.."he asked mockingly with a hidden anger..

But she stayed quiet..

"Yedhaavadhu pesu...silent doesn't suit u.."

"Sorry.."he said empathetically..

"Yedhukku sorry..?inga paaru..the last thing I wanted to see on this earth is others pity..so don't pity me..ok..?"

But still her face showed her grief over his sufferings..

"ippa yenna azha poriyaa?pls yen kann kaanaama yengaiyaavadhu poi azhariyaa?i don't want to see all these nonsense.." he spitted fiery words ..

She controlled her emotions and tried to look normal..

"Adhellam onnum illai..naan kelambarennu sollitu poga dhaan vandhen..and thanks for ur help.."she said in single breath...

He controlled his raising anger..and sighed deeply..

"So u know me before..right?adhaan first time paarkum bodhu yennai therinja maadhiri nadandhukita?"

She nodded..

"But adhellam yedhuvume yenakku niyaabagam illai..therinjika aasai um illai..yennai porutha varai..nee yennoda team mate avlo dhaan..Nothing much and nothing less clear...?"

"Yes..Sir"

"Appuram mukkiyamana vishayam...yenakku pazhasa niyaabaga padutharennu komali thanamaa yedhaavdhu panradhu..neenga appo adhu soneenga..idhu soneegnannu..yedhaavdhu aarambicha..then u have to face my other side..i won't be this nice all the time..."

He clearly warned her.

She looked him in shock..

"Look ..I don't want to discuss about my past which I didn't even know myself...it was like..like..."he struggled to continue

"I can understand ..."she said softly seeing him struggling to talk..

"No u can't ..and u won't understand..yennai pathi yenakke theriyaama irukara vishayam yellam.. yaaro sambandhame illadha moonavadhu manushangalukku theriyaradhu yevlo kodumai theriyumaa?i felt like I am incomplete..i was deficient ...I was lacking some organ..it was frustrating to the core. u can't understand that...forget it.."he poured out his frustration for a moment..then he composed himself ...

Raji's heart wrenched in pain hearing him mentioning her as an irrelevant third person..

"naan sambandham illadhavalaa..?'she wanted to scream but she restrained herself thinking of his current disastrous plight...

"Sari nee polaam..one more thing don't disclose this matter to anyone..i hope I can rely on u in this..."

"Of course yes..i will keep my promise.."she said firmly..

"Sonnadhu niyaabagam irukkula?don't talk about my past .."

She nodded and started to walk..

He sighed in relief thinking that he made things crystal clear to Raji and thought she would listen to his words..but if she listened to his words that easily then it won't be Raji right..?

Raji stopped in her track and slightly turning to his side.."sir naan twelfth maths la centum.."she said with a bright smile and sprinted away in a jiffy..

He scrunched his brows like "what the heck is this..."

Then he realized that she was talking about their past..

"Oh god ,what am I going to do with this crazy girl..it has not been a moment passed since I asked her not to talk about the past..she already started reminding me of it..don't know what will she do further..?"He sighed...

I see the way Mala aunty feels relieved looking at Raji coz she knows that she can offer a solution. It was fantastic the way you first presented Karthik and his mom's relationship (through the phone convo) in the past which helped us understand his present mind set even better.

Raji is chanceless, two powerful statements from her in this part, which are superb..." Iyoda Hitler is back in his form" and "I got centum in Maths in 12th". Lovely!!! these two dialogues highlight the essence of K and R. What a transition in R from someone who was failing miserably in Maths to scoring centum!!! No wonder she is resolved to getting him back to normalcy, the man who made a HUGE impact on her.

During his recovery , the trials and tribulations he go thru but lucky he has his aunt & uncle as a support.
