Values and principles are definitely important than TRPs and Taher is so right in that.
But I don't get the point? Are everyone in the world perfect and good? There are lot of grey and negative characters in the real world too and the story is trying to portray that through Viraj. I don't see what's wrong in that. Taher and Viraj are different people. Viraj stalks doesn't mean Taher stalks right?
And playing a negative character doesn't mean the actor is endorsing it. He is playing a character. It's good Taher has come out in the open clarifying his stand, but I seriously don't see where Viraj is related here.
Thanks for sharing.
Exactly. I'm confused as well. The actor and the character are two different people. I don't understand why Tahir had to clarify this. I've never seen other actors, especially those who play straight up vamps and rapists, ever clarify themselves. It's common sense that people don't endorse such actions.
And secondly, I dont understand why Tahir is so upset about his character change. Not only is it fleshing out a character (we can be assured that Viraj will have a redemption because he is Kabir's brother and his presence is the show will be needed/ continued and a redemption with VJ is the only possible way for the track to shape up) but it's also allowing him to experiment as a actor. I understand some annoyance makes sense, but Tahir seems legit pissed off.
Thirdly I might get inflamed for this, but I still think it was so unprofessional of Tahir to favourite tweets saying NAUC was going to shit/ insulting Aneri. That was not cool.
