Yeah I don't think it'll necesssarily go HDDCS way. But I can definitely see the similarities. I think once Viraj interrupts the marriage with his love confession, Kabir will definitely bow out and ask Nisha to consider Viraj's proposal. But as the kite wala dialogue indicates, Nisha will not listen to him and make her own decision, which will be marrying Kabir I think (or atleast I hope so) !

Another reason I don't see that happening is because while Kabir cares about Nisha and her happiness, he also really respects and pays attention to the wishes of GF. GF is completely anti-Viraj and I doubt Kabir would take such a step that no one would be happy with. Ramesh's decision is also key. If Ramesh refuses Viraj for Nisha, then Kabir will not reunite them. Kabir's bond with Ramesh is stronger than his bond with Nisha I think (at least for now).

Hey Sush,

They were friends and she fell in love with him and he rejected her and at that point I thought that would be it but then Nisha started answering Viraj's emails. Viraj fell in love with who he thought was someone else but Nisha was answering the emails as herself just with a different name. Confused yet? LOL Anyway Nisha wanted to tell him the truth but Viraj's aunt found out what was going on an exposed Nisha in public which led to what you now see.

Viraj can't get over Nisha's "betrayal" but more than that his ego took a hit. He was made to look like a fool and even though she tired to explain the situation to him he wouldn't listen. So their 'relationship" never really had a chance.

Red...ADs character was not always in love with ARs in HDDK...I think that was a fully arranged marriage,...

Such if I recall correctly he sees her at one of her sisters or cousins marriage where she does the nimbooda dance. He can't stop staring at her there. His sister senses his attraction and gets their marriage arranged. Maybe not completely in love but he was always attracted to her. I love that movie.

And I completely agree! The joint-family aspect in this show is so enjoyable and actually comes across as realistic (especially in the earlier episodes of the show)! I love how we're shown different family dynamics!

Infact I used to look forward to Shwetha's collages.
This show is a far cry from our earlier shows.What I like about this show is that the characters are so down to earth that one can easily relate to them.The entire joint family setup and each one's strength and insecurities are portrayed so naturally that they don't seem to go overboard.
One thing that strikes me is that none of these characters are perfect be Dadaji,Ramesh ,Nisha ,Kabir or Viraj.They all make mistakes and then learn from them.This is so refreshing to see in a daily soap where we only see characters that are larger than life.
Thanks to you and Shwetha and looking forward to your posts on a regular basis.

Yes, most characters in the show are relatable...the two fake ones seem to be the oh my my...and Kyra...Viraj...also is not very real with his hum this hum that talk...😆

Okay...so when did he really fall in love with Nisha the person...not the email ID holder...who was some cyber avatar of Nisha!!

Kabir is in love with Nisha...he just doesn't want to admit ...he knows Nisha loves Viraj ...he is too nice a guy to disrupt Nisha's life .
