Vimla is beyond my understanding. She herself says Umesh is very close to Ramesh. She knows Ramesh wouldn't intend bad for Umesh. Why is she still blaming him? Because her views doesn't match hers? Why not look from his perspective? Viren, may support Aman, but I don't think he will talk to Dadaji for Umesh. If he does, well and good. But it would be Ramesh again standing in the front of the firing line because he openly supports kids for their happiness.

Dadaji feels kids are still kids and don't have the maturity to make decisions.

I think Dadaji is going to accept Aman on her own 'merit' ultimately. Remember how Dadaji had said that he wants a girl of their community because she could adjust? Aman can adjust. So if Dadaji doesn't agree, he will be backtracking on his own words, which is rare for Dadaji... He'll need a little assurance, though. Dadi is also very important here.

Bye the way, as much as Dadaji mistrusts Ramesh... I think he really respects Lakshmi. (And I think he's right there. Lakshmi is saner than Ramesh) He listens more coolly to her. She gives better arguments too. Dadaji will probably let her defend their case.
