can't log in with my old user ID -HELP

Attention Mods :

My old user ID is jaysp. I have been trying to login and have been unable to do so. I do remember my password.

So, i just re-registered as Kyonki because all userids I tried were already taken. Please help and tell me why I am unable to log in with my old user ID. I really don't want to be a newbie again!

Thank you all for your help. I think it had something to do with my computer. Once I made up the new ID- Kyonki and logged off I was still not able to log in with my new or old ID so I was unable to PM the admin. I could read all your messages but was unable to respond!

I didnot want to create a third ID so I clicked on forgot my password ( And I definetely DIDNOT forget my old password) and the forum e-mailed me a new password. With the new password I was able to log back in.
So, today after a long time I was able to login again with my old ID - jaysp. I hope I don't have problems again.
