Words cannot express the disappointment I feel watching today's episode.
If nothing else i d hoped atleast he'd free himself from the apron strings from his ved mom

Not blind obedience again. But Indian television is television

I want to shoot the makers for raising my expectations like that.

Why is that so shocking and for someone to get annoyed about? She's his mother who unconditionally loved him, whilst on the other hand he found out his real mother not only deceptively got him married to a daayan, but also murdered his father and grand mother. I don't know why anybody is annoyed with his love for vedashree. Why would you want to love a mother who is so evil that she deceives her own children and even murders people, that too, your own family members. Why would he not love and respect vedashree, and continue to do so. Ansh and kaajal are lucky, otherwise after knowing their mother is daayan who killed their father, the rathore's could have instead thought that they are kids of daayans so could be a danger to their family and be just like their mother, and could have ditched ansh and kaajal too, but instead the family loved and protected them not even caring they are the offsprings of a daayan and murderer. The family put especially ansh and kaajal over the other two kids in the house too. How many people would do that, if this was a real situation and not fictional? In actual, the kids of the daayan would never be accepted and would have been thought to be evil too, and may even be killed, because of how fearful humans tend to be of things we don't know/ understand.

Vedashree apologized. Mo on the other hand is planning and plotting.
Mo is the big baddie of the show. It's not going to change until the makers decide to change her at the very end.
A son should love his mother who sacrificed so much for him. He is in a huge dilemma right now but ultimately he is going to choose the good side, the human part of him. He is going to embrace the human and DV and have a balance. That's what the show is about. From episode 1 it's been about saving Ansh from going over to the dark side.

Guilt is never a reason to be in a relationship. Those reasons u mentioned are the very reasons Ved used to force it down his throat to guilt him into forgiving him. Those kinds of relationships are burdensome.

For that reason Vedashree as a character earns my undying contemt.

She didn't give him the needed space required to process information. She took advantage of him in an emotionally vulnerable moment to blackmail him into forgiving her.

She winded up guilting him so much that he felt it disloyal to even question everything. When it was his right to !!!

All she achieved today was to get him to forgive herself and let him deal with all that baggage by himself alone!

So he gets the double pleasure of being the dutiful son and being burdened by his own feelings. Very Noble indeed !

I have said it before and will say it again "Mama' s boys are damn unsexy . And I have no respect for mom's who try to cling and smother their children . Why because they are afraid of losing them.

I have a high regard for Mothers who are strong , independent who are secure in their kids love to allow them leave the nest to fly high. They know when to get involved in their kids life and to step back . They don't try to hold on their kids by tying them to their apron strings .

I will never support such mom stereotypes on Indian television . Neither will I tolerate such blind Mother loving leading men.

Whether I m the only Indian in a family loving country or the only member in this forum.

The only mama's boys that annoy me are the ones that don't see through their mother's and blindly do what their mother wants them to, even if it is wrong. Especially when the mother is evil in these serials.

I and clearly many other people on this forum can't really see how vedashree can be painted as anything other than a protective mother who is scared knowing there is a dark side to him with an evil mother who wants to take advantage and control of that evil side for her own gain.

When naturally parents use tactics and punishment to teach their children a lesson and to make sure they don't go down a wrong route, why is vedashree a mother that deserves contempt? I'm sorry if none of the points you made in regards to ved makes sense to me, because all I see is ved's fears for ansh with mohana hovering around him ready to take control of him, so none of ved's actions and words are unjustified.

Ved is a mom who unconditionally loved him and his sister. She raised him to become a good human being and never discriminated between him and Kajal. It's not that she could never have kids of her own.She could have but she CHOSE not to just for the sake of Ansh and Kajal.
Had it been any other family then they would kicked the kids out as soon as they discovered that their mom was a daayan.

And emotional blackmail? Manipulation? Ved doesn't know them. Those are all Mo's tricks.Ved knows that Ansh is in a vulnerable state right now and Mo will stop at nothing to manipulate him.Ved is just trying to protect him and it's as simple as that.

Ved is trying to tie Ansh to her apron strings? What a joke!!
It's Mo who wants to turn him into a puppet who dances to her tunes for the rest of his life.Mo is one who gives a damn about her son and his feelings. All she wants is the DV's powers.Separate the DV from Ansh and Mo wouldn't even look at him.

Apparently good mothers get contempt now whereas evil mothers get appreciation and a round of applause for admitting that they are evil. Amazing.

Seriously!!
Matlab if a woman is a hardcore criminal and she admits it in front of her kids saying that being a criminal is in her nature and also wants her kids to become criminals as well means she is strong and independent?? 🤣
No!! She just needs psychiatric help and the kids need to be kept away from her.

Rather gimme Ved mom who would go to any extent to protect her kids, who would love her kids unconditionally,do her best to give them a better life and teach them good values.

Tell me about it. 😆

I respect everybody's views because everybody is different and perceive things their own way but this trying to paint Ved as a vamp thing is getting ridiculous.

@Bold - I agree on this part. Vedashree should have left him alone to process his thoughts. I liked that she apologized but she shouldn't have said if I ask something of you!!

It basically feels like Ansh had no choice but to forgive her. Let the poor guy think things through. That, I believe was forced by the makers.

Now that I've posted it, it made me think that , maybe that was the point they were trying to get across!! Ansh would do anything for Vedashree.

They definitely are rushing through things as this show is going to end.
