Regarding Shilpa's, Geeta's, and Usha's post - all of you are right in a way..If we think about it then the CVs have remained true to the concept of the show "bridging the generation gap between today's youth and parents" as far as the Mishras are concerned..The Mishras (Minus Meeta, her character makes no sense whatsoever) have gradually warmed up to the modern way of life while at the same time respecting their values and traditions- the transition has been shown in a beautiful way indeed..
Bajpayees are a different story altogether..Sometimes I wonder what was the need to make them so "extreme"? They are so ridiculous & obnoxious that any redemption will probably seem unnatural and unreal..Its not the family drama I have a problem with, but I have always perceived Navya the show to be a love story primarily, where the whole concept of bridging the generation gap serves as a backdrop..And if someone were to sit down and watch the first 2 months of the show then I am sure they would agree with me too..The CVs themselves presented the show in such a way after all..But now their execution has changed drastically..I understand family drama is a part and parcel of every show, but I had not signed up for a show which was a family drama in and out..Is some proximity, some romantic scenes between two people who are supposed to me madly in love too much to ask for?? Its actually been months since there has been a proper AnYa scene where these two enjoyed some quality time together, minus the gang..
So yeah, CVs should for once listen to viewer feedback and steer the show accordingly..Earlier I used to wait for the clock to strike 10 PM, and now it feels like a duty to watch the show- because it did give me immense entertainment initially, and ofcourse lovely friends in this adda..But I don't know how long I will stick with it for mere obligation, things better look up real soon..

BS & his shows...didnt DMG also end suddenly...not sure?!!
