A Smile In Distress

Translation:

The feeling of love is what I have gotten fully acquainted with today..

Its now that I understood the sorrows behind this beautifully sweet pain..

It dazzles me to realize that despite the pain my eyes have still not given up…

For I thot they wud have shed tears……instead they brought a smile to my face!!!

Mohan and.Anant… ……..2 individuals today who stood at cross roads of their lives with a heart shattering in silence and yet having a curve of the lips on their face……It feels u up with distraught to see this curve….this smile…..It was a Smile In Distress…A smile that "Love" in different forms had spelled on them…While one (Mohan) is yearning for love yet realizes the power of love…..the other (Anant) is breathing in love and experiencing the power of love!!

I quote:

"Behind my smile is a hurting heart….Strongly I stand ….but inside I am falling apart…..Love you are strange….for despite the pain…I am still following you around"

Mohan:

"Jab ek ladka aur ek ladki ek doosre ke liye sahi nahi hote…..toh koi adjustment nahi hota….usse sirf rishta nibhaana kehta he….shaadi nahi"

A sentence that was filled with so much pain…angst….agitation…. Mohan in those few lines spoke the kind of life he has been living since the day he got married to a person whom his heart did not choose and yet he persevered due to a sense of responsibility towards his family…towards his wife…and towards himself!!! But this responsibility unfortunately came at a cost of love draped in fear to stand against those who meant a lot to him….his parents….Mohan was never able to garner the courage to face up his overly strict parents and stand for what he believed in…..for the kind of life he perceived….But has anyone ever thot why?? Fear u may say but then…What was that one fear that kept him at the bay despite his urge to dive into the ocean??? It was the fear of losing his parents…..parents who maybe strict…..stern….over protective…..but the fact still remains…they are his parents….and he loves them for who they are….however they are…and for them….he sacrificed his life with a person who till date he is striving to sustain his relation…his wife!! The love for his parents had so much strength that he gambled on his heart and gave it every possible chance to blossom with love…but the heart has a mind of its own and sadly thru….Mohan's heart cud never beat for his wife….be it coz his wife never was able to hit the right chord….or coz he never allowed her to touch those strings….or simply coz they were just not rhythmic together….Either which way…Love for Mohan always remained in a glass globe that he watched from a far and softly smiled away!!!!! 😳😳😳

Anant:

"Sab theek hojayega"

With a heavy heart….and a burdened voice…..Anant stood thru his promise of "togetherness" to Navya yet again…..Just the thot of staying away from Navya breaks the flow of blood in his veins and yet today…..when that same Navya announced the demand of distance by her mom…..he stood there physically strong…..but emotionally shattering to pieces……Love has empowered Anant to an extent that he has the strength to let go Navya …..for her….No it was not easy….it wasn't just a turn around and walk away for him……It was separation of his soul from his body……it was a separation of the pulses from his heart beats ….it was a separation of him from himself and it was throttling him from his inner most core!! But when has love ever proclaimed itself to be on bed of roses??? Sometimes….they come in thorns as well…..and today….that thorn had to prick Anant…What was so beautiful to see was the inner strength that he has earned…..the maturity that he has gained…that despite heading towards the cliff of death….towards the darkness of infinity…..he stood smiling …..dying a thousand deaths yet spreading positivity with the only weapon he was left with…..with the only eternal flame that love had brewed in him ….."Hope"!!!!!!😳😳😳

You beautifully expressed that 1 thing that bothered most of us..why did Mohan marry Rama? why is he putting up with her? ..yes it was just not fear of his parents but it was also the love and respect for them, that he was ready to sacrifice his life and his happiness..hoping things will get better one day..but till now he has only got betrayed and shattered...even after gng thru so much pain, he is still trying to save her wife's image and repect in front of other's...what a gem of a person he is?..I wonder when will Rama be able to see it..or will it be too late for mohan to let her come close to her heart again...

Beautifully said in simple sober words hun...Mohan's greatness...his humbleness...his sheer "gentleman-hood" really allures u towards him...such a beautiful heart...such a beautiful human being and 1 look at his wife...and u simply do nothing but sympathize with her inability to see thru this man who stands in front of her...with whom she has shared past few years in a holy matrimonial and yet is not able to appreciate n cherish this divine relationship she shares with him neither is she able to realize her golden fate that destiny has bestowed upon her in the form of Mohan...Ahhh!!!!!!!...Irony it is...We can only its not too late b4 she realizes what priceless gem she is losing out on!!!...😳😳😳

Anant, he has been such a sweetheart today...strong from outside as he knows, he needs to hold himself together for anavya and their love...The immense pain that he is gng thru is actually making him strong for a change.its the love that has made him all mature and sensible, during the times it was most needed...he is ready to go thru anytihng because he belives in the promise of togetherness that they have made to each other...He can only hope for the best..and he is holding on to that hope very tightly..with a smile o nhis face..hiding the trears that are tryign to rush thru his eyes...

Truly put!!! Anant's love for Navya is so pure...so pristine that the honesty n genunity with which he is expressing this love...even in tough times as such...is so endearing...He knows that once Navya talks to her mom...things may never remain the same...the pain may become his ultimate fate and yet...he is so in love with the idea of this pain...coz its for his love...Love is truly very strange...

Well writing is my passion which comes with inspiration and watever I write is based on certain thots ...poems...songs...literature that relates to it and thats what i jot down...
I wud defo try to take out more time to read ur poem n put a few words for u...
