Beautiful post Shilpa...the heart of a poet obviously beats in you...

I loved reading your lines...even your prose reads like a poem...did you write that absolutely beautiful poem at the very beginning?...loved it...

I liked reading your take on Mohan and Anant...While I symapathise with Mohan and there is nothing as attractive as a good hearted (and good looking...that always helps😃) man in distress, I disagree with a few points...If Mohan decided to respect his elders' wishes and get married with the hope that love or atleast respect will blossom in time (like anant was planning to as he told renuka), I think he has to stop being so passive...I'm not saying he should expose Rama or humiliate her or be bitter or be angry , I only mean he should stop putting up with her nonsense- kindly but firmly...Change is never easy but I think Mohan has been letting things get by because it's been easier to do that than confront the situation...He's made a start now but he always ends up walking away...IMO, it is not mahaan or being noble to "enjoy" playing the martyr...(sunday ho ya monday i get ande hi andey!)

i must say u have talent 2 make ppl cry, smile n feel what ever u want them 2 feel thru ur words...its amazing hw u manage do dis... while reading dis post i cud feel d emotions n heart ache as if it were my own..completely mesmerizing..truly out of this world...hats off 2 u... 👏

Shilpa I am close to tears here..Both the bajpayee brothers' dilemma is so tangible in your post..I don't know how you do it but you can evoke a wide array of emotions from your readers..You have a talent for sure..👏
I was so distraught seeing Anant all dejected for one day, wonder how I will endure his crest fallen state in the coming episodes once his lady love goes away from him..😭

after today's article I was wondering - how come distress starts so soon & stays so long?!

Smiles aate hain, unko thik se savor bhi nahin kiye ki distress pops up ... everytime, Anant+Navya were having time of their life, same day some problems occur - be it baba's call at picnic, bhabhi's antics at terrace, Meeta's suspicion after birthday surprise ... why ?

Why can't they cherish the beautiful moments without pinch of bitterness at the end?

I completely concur with ur thots...yes...its not noble to put up with such abuse...neither is it right to be as passive as him...but as much as I agree with u...I have to say that I can understand mohan's stance...

FIrst of all...he is the elder of the 2 siblings...which automatically loads him with a certain responsibility...secondly...being the first child...he is the same shoes as Renu where the parents themselves were not sure where to draw lines of strictness n liniency ...n thus prolly imposed more restrictions on him than on Anant n thats the environment he was born n brought up in...

Thirdly his time n era was slightly diff than Anant's and it was harder for him to rebel or voice out his opinions or concern esp when things were more on conservative side those days...n obviously he was given as much freedom as Anant that he cud go out n see or expose himself to a life where he cud learn that life has many more shades that just black n white...

Also...its not till now has he begun to realize how much an evil his wife is n how low her standards of thots are...coz till now...she has only been playing sweet sugar infront of everyone...

But yes...its good that finally he is becoming more upfront about things...N all i can say is mohan has a high tolerance limit that he still is giving her chances n letting her go by...but there is limits to everything n m sure...once Rama passes that limit...Mohan will not take it no more...esp now after gaining a lill bit of confidence after seeing Anant's confidence...😳
