Great post Nisha...U deserve a 👏 for pointing out the flaws of one of the most popular episodes of Navya...

I really enjoyed the Thursday Episode like many (most) in the forum...The episode was much entertaining than the Maha Episode... Anyways, agree with few(most) of ur points from I did'nt like it all list(ready to take my share of tomatoes)...

Hug: I really enjoyed the hug and Anant's expressions...Agree with u that it was an immature act to hug a girl in the college corridor...He was so upset with Navya and got all excited when she apologized first...Remember, the first hug also was due to excitement..I am glad that he said sorry for the hug...

Apology: I agree with ur point reagarding Navya's apology...We (me&hubby) were in a relationship for 5yrs before we got married...All these years he is always the first to apologise...Appy is definitely extra samajdhar for her age...I'm not surprised that Navya followed the advice in seconds...Afterall she is another indi soap heroine...

AnYa chemistry: U pointed out the missing chemistry in the car scene...

Hmm..I miss the chemistry on all scenes except on phone scenes..After the love confession they are more like friends than lovers... Hug or kiss or even holding hands is not required to express love...It can be expressed through eyes...I am not able to sense the feel of love when AnYa look each other...During Nimisha's engagement and after that or even during the break up they seemed more in love...

I don't think its necessary to comment on ur likes list as it matches mine...

Just wanted to touch upon what smisidren (sorry I don't know your name) has mentioned in her reply. I think she's hit the nail on the head regarding Anya chemistry - I too feel that they've become buddies after the ilu - not at all a bad thing and probably happens in most relationships - the initial awkwardness goes away and there is confidence that the other person loves you, so the relationship becomes more ... hmmm ... comfortable (for want of a better word). That's fine with me. Where I have a problem is - to me things feel a bit forced... May be because Anant is not standing up to anything at home?

May be he is appearing too weak (this transformation is after the picnic - earlier he had some guts - if you see the initial week episode when he was questioned about the Valentine's day fight in college, he actually defended himself quite normally). I am getting this feeling from the show that nowadays everything will be left to Navya to handle - I won't be surprised if she actually asks for Anant's hand in marriage from the zoo ppl (ok I am exaggerating here but you get my drift)... She is this all-sacrificing, ever-patient and understanding daughter/sis/friend/girl-friend and I am sure perfect bahu as well... I think this is making me unhappy - I want Anant to have a lot more spunk and be an equal partner, especially because Shaheer is a good actor and it will be a shame to slowly turn him into a weak guy, when he can do that much more... He should have stood up against his sagaai and should show a firm but polite "mind your own business" attitude to Rama...

Sorry for the rant about Anant's character, but in my opinion, as Shaheer is the stronger actor of the two, making his character weak is what is making me uneasy? Sowmya lovers, hold your fire, I am all for noting that it's her first show and that she's fine playing the happier scenes, it's just that I wished they were at least equals in the characterisation - don't want to see Navya always fixing things in their relationship...

You are welcome to join in Asha, the more the merrier... And thanks for your take on the chemistry issue, it gives me a different perspective and I see your point... Probably they are shooting back to back and finer points do seem to go for a toss sometimes (it annoys me to see two different expressions eg one smiling one not for the same sequence - not sure I am making sense here - you know, when they shoot from two different cameras?)...

I like your optimistic take on Anant's character and I do hope he rises to the occasion - it will definitely make my day!

Sadly I can't get BOLN here and I'd love to catch Shaheer on that show - is he better there or no?

I like most people liked the last few episodes..Yes, there were things that irked me but the postives most definitely outweighed the negatives IMO..

The hug in the corridor: I actually liked it.. I mean these are 19 year old I am talking about..Sure there was the whole "principle threat" issue but if 19 year old don't act on hormone induced impulses then who will? True true It wasn't even a romantic hug or anything, more like a bear hug from a friend..I'm racking my brains to remember a huggy moment with ranbir...can u recall any?😛 ...I thought it was adorable, yes even the cheeky grin of Anant's was cute..(My crush on Anant doesn't exactly help things) This hugs was such a HUGE improvement from the first one after all.😆 BUT the screeching BG aka Pehla Pyaar Hai Yehhh was like pure torture to my ears..🤢 Why don't they use the absolutely wonderful title track Bekaboo?😛 I mean they apparently pays Vishal-Shekhar 25 lacs for composing the track..They might as well use it!😕

The super sensible AnYa thing..I actually did not think about it that much until I read your post..I don't know maybe because their relationship is still so new they are still too lovestruck to be angry with each other for too long?Plus it doesn't help that Navya as a character is such a soft, forgiving saint type of person..I definitely wouldn't have liked it if they took eons to make up...Poor CVs, darned if they do, darned if they dont...I definitely think Anant should have been the one to apologize then..He knows the whole story unlike Navya who didn't know he was working day and night to plan a surprise for her..

Definitely agree that Anant has to do all the work in car scenes..I think the reason for that is in all the car scenes we have had Navya had to be sad/tensed/frustrated/crying..All the things Soumya sadly can't do well..She just ends up doing her eye rolling/eyebrow dancing/ gulping like a goldfish routine...Word...I hope its as painful for her to do as it is painful for us to watch (how mean!)...On the other hand Shaheer who is a much better actor than Soumya...yes yes its his acting that causes me to be glued to the screen... it has absolutely nothing to do with his melting eyes or his swishy hair or his butterwontmeltinmymouth face 😆...I wonder if I'll maaf him saath khoon if he looked like,say ,the guy who was in the car similar to anant's outside Navyas apartment when she went to search for our lost boy.😈... (in case you don't take colour coded cross referenced notes on each epi like i do , let me enlighten you- He looked like a horror...poor guy).take away the cake in the car scenes..I am so sure if there was a car scene where Navya gets to act happy then sparks would fly..😆😆

Ahhh the earlier episodes had some different kind of magic though..I can't quite put my finger on it but given a chance to see the mahaepisode date episode or the road crossing scene i would definitely opt for the second choice..I still love AnYa to death, but there was something special in those earlier scenes..😳 Sigh...that's the grain of sand...what IS it that we're all missing???🤔...Next case for me to solve (since Harry has been found again after going AWOL)

I am all for showing more of Navya's family..Her family is so full of warmth, and love and its realistic..Navya's dadi actually reminds me of my own dadi..I feel like hugging my dadi when Navi hugs her dadi..Harsh is as annoying as my younger bro..😆😆I see my family in Navya's family you know.. AWWW...tho thweet...😊..Anant's family on the other hand reminds me of pre-historic stuff like dinosaurs & neanderthals..🤢🤢

Ranbir my man!!😃😃 Take screen time away from Ritz, Appy, creepy clan, I don't care as long I get to see more of the most sensible character of the show..😃

Would love to see Appy's backstory..I didn't know about the single mom thing..Maybe I missed it being mentioned or something...dont know if her mom's single as in she's been widowed single or single single....But yeah defiinitely would love to see both Ritz and Appy's family issues..I actually love the whole gang of friends, be its Ritz's mother hen behaviour, or Harry's PJs..Definitely Aye to showing more of the gang!👍🏼

Loving Soumya's improvement..She has come such a long way..I am loving her portrayal of Navya these days..So ditto on that..

@Resmi: You bring out a an excellent point..Maybe Shaheer and Soumya were directed to portray Anant and Navya to be more comfortable around each other..And because of this different approach, they are not acting like sparks are flying each time they touch, or look at each other anymore which could very well be the cause behind the lack of the "magic"..If its this then a change in the direction of the scenes could return the "Magic"..

@asha: Definitely agree with you..I still have faith in Anant..I am sure he will rise to the occasion when the need arises..I would have wanted him to do so during the engagement track itself, had the track not been introduced so early on in the show..Anant taking a stand against his family for his and Navya's relationship has got to be one of the major high points of the show..It will happen, but not right at the moment..But yes, the CVs are messing with his character lately..I still can't find any excuse for the ultra gullible behaviour around Rama, or letting Rama insult Navya right in front of him without any type of interference from his side..😕
