Coming to your post - the hug in the corridor did stick out like a sore thumb in my opinion... Word...Actually I am not a fan of Anant in hyper excited mode. To me his USP is the soft calm nature we got to see on the early episodes of the show... Lately he's been jumping on beds, doing silly dance moves with his room door open and now the hug... It is as if cvs have decided - you guys want fun/romance back? Here you go, in bucket loads...


Don't get me wrong, I still prefer this track compared to the saas bahu sagaai track, and give me Navya family/college scenes any day... I just can't put my finger on what my problem is with these last couple of episodes...

But seriously, I wish I could tell you what it is exactly that's bothering me too.I don't think we're alone in this though- I've seen lone scattered voices protesting all over the forum... Something's jarring, but what?...Is it that sensible Anant is emotionally regressing ala Benjamin Button?Or is everything too forced now? It isn't that the storylines in the initial episodes were believable - rescuing from goondas, suicide attempts, nighttime nappy trips(!!!)...All unreal scenarios but still had me captivated with the utter sweet simplicity (is that the right term?) of it all.At the time, the CVs had nothing to prove, but now... maybe the team's being weighed down by the burden of their own success .For me, it goes as far back as the picnic episodes( even though i was swept up in the excitement) -a bit too much, a bit too fast maybe?...Then the 🤢 engagement track derailed the entire thing for me... As the focus shifted from Navya's family( esp Renuka's track), it was the beginning of the end of the good times 😭...No more of Navya analysing her feelings in the voiceover ... Navya's mum being blase and not the least bit suspicious about her midnight rove(after freaking out over a photo)...Anant's Tenshun- Induced- Febrile- Illness and the miraculous awakening...the madcap family...need i say more??????😕👎🏼

You mention Navya's acting in the car scene - I feel that she always does better justice to the happy scenes compared to the heavier scenes, may be that's why Anant had to carry the scene more on his shoulders?

In many ways I agree with u. Many times bitten and shy...I kept saying in my mind last nite " doodh ka jala, chass bhi pook pook ke pita hai". The english trabslation is the person who burnt his tongue drinking hot milk will think think twice before drinking butter milk...err what ever..hope u got the meaning. Much as I admire the hug, ( the reconciliation hug), fealt it was an unwanted scene. I got to see the hug, no complains, but does it really fit the pic??????????? well dont have to go deep into it ( forget it, all the vm makers got a nice scene to add on).🤣Very true, and I do like a hug or two (or three) too😃

The grin?...on anants face? ...well I cannot expect more from a 19 yr old. That was apt, coz he never said sorry first, it was navya who said sorry first and in a way he did win the first fight. what to say...that was the grin on his face,,...yeah, i did it. On a personal note, the maturity of a girl is 3 yrs more than the maturity of the boy from the same age group.That explains why navya handles her love life more maturely than anant. Interesting point...Did you think that Anant was a tad more mature in the initial episodes though? But maybe falling in love has made him go a bit crazy...As they say, Love is a disease!!!

Agreed the car scene could have been a lttile more romantic,...but I guess the purpose of the scene was to show, navya expressing her displeasure. I feal happy she was able to open herself and explain her mind to anant. She spoke her heart out...which was good, bcoz she has never been open so far, in her words...dont know if u agree with me,,,,,,,,this is how i read the scene. If that was the aim of the scene, then its purpose has been fulfilled...but I agree with you that it could've been a bit more romaanchak

The family scenes, have been quite good and entertaining...liked it...but found harsh action of bringing the presentation paper to the hall when navya is around a little sheepish...couldnt he have shown more maturity?...i guess another case of 16 y r with raging harmones... BTW is Harsh supposed to be 16? Don't know what age he's supposed to be playing...

I agree with many of u r points, coz probably I too fall in the seniour bracket, as said by some one, about the difference in age group ...and difference in opinion...but honestly, I dont mean to hint anything on the age factor...please dont get me wrong.Of course not ya😆

I think its maturity with age, that has made me not take the 6th and 7th episode as a desert served with love, I accept it with a pinch of salt.

Do we get excited after the 6th and the 7th july epi...I will say no..becuase as you said several times bitten but shy,,veery true..even I am thinking this excitement is not for long..and my mind again ponders? ..I have felt the same in some of the earlier episodes too..but there is one thing that I learnt form the younger forum members..they are here to have fun..they do get upset with the drama and the stupid tracks but they still live in the momment..yes we feel ..it is not right to just live in the momment..but in this case , for them it is just a show they realise it ..it is entertainment and they keep it that way..so I guess living in the momment works...I have started laughing wholehertedly on funny silly things and forgetting the bad things quickly,, true ya, sounds like a much better attitude...being happy instead of snippy-snappy

Now about the epi..specifically..

Yes even I did not think that the hug was necessary , it was a little too cliche, but coming from a 19yr old, madly in love guys..hmm..I'll take it😊 ..the best part was the sorry that he said after the Hug..that probably showcased that he knew that was not required or acceptable..but he felt like doing it.and he did it.....Control ah-nant control! kya character dheela hai??!!🤣

The car scene could have been better...from the romantic perspective..agreed..but I liked the car scene..because they were talking to each other with such ease and comfort..that is more important in a realtionship than romance..the way they dicussed their issue was great. and that is what I liked abt the scene..it as my best scene to be true..

Tallking about navya's Dadi or I'll say entire family..I love them..they showcase the love and the joy that exist in most of the families..that is how the family should be..Ok harsh could have been smarter but a 16yr old boy ,full of excitement..he is allowed to do some mistakes i guess..

Even i am not a big fan of hyper Anaant, i like his calmer side ...I guess he is just too happy because what is happeneing to him is unexpected and hence he is not able to control his emotions..its a bit too much but I will not bash him for that..most of the audiences want to see that crazy 19yr old bf.so here we go..

I know Appy..was a little too samajhdar in yesterdays episode..and I understand what you mean by saying ..What Appy said is very true but when did kiddies start listening to good advice? I'm aaages older and have been in a relationship faaar longer than these two but they've understood what I've taken years to understand in the space of a few minutes...So Super Sensible ..even i thought the same , was it that easy that I took so long to understand and she just did it in 5 mins...but I'll take it as a benefit of media..this media is making me look foolish yaar..."what?More foolish than usual?" my dahling asks with luuuvein his eyes 😡 🤬 due to yesterdays show..what we learnt or I'll say we are still learning out of our trial and tribulation, they just learnt it in few mins..I hope by that,atleast some of the relations will be more sweeter....were it that easy...Next time when they eat gol gappi, they'll sort out their finances, who'll do the dishes and do these jeans make me look fat questions...Maybe after Navya's bday epi, we'll see Anant kangaal begging Ranbir for coffee money and Navya sweeping the room after her Surprise Birthday Party muttering under her breath bout all the work she has to do...I would PAY to see an episode like that 😆 😆.Mind you guys..waise is ruthane manane ka phir bhi apne ek mazaa hota hai..

I love ranbir..and he desrves more screen space.. the trio, ranvir ,harry..then make the scenes so much better and livelier and i hope we see more of them and less of the looney cartoon and the deadly shitsters..ditto

One last thing.I love the ANYA chemistry😳..I have seen many love stories but they just take the scene to the next level.😛..they are awesome so gullible and simple😳..

I know It is long but I just couldnt stop myself from giving this detailed comment after reading your post😊..I agreed and disagreed with certain parts depending upon my perspective..I hope you enjoy reading it..

Last pt on Anant...Anant's dad was mad at Anant when he went out for ice cream & thoko-ed the car...yet he will be ok with him being out till at least 1:30 to celebrate Navya's b'day? big risk Anant, if u ask me!!😳 Much like navya's mum believing her wishywashy excuses about her wee-hour wanderings...can't sleep indeed...i won't get way with it even in my dotage...

i dont watch all the episodes as my schedule doesnt permit...but your paper-rainforest comment was funny...🤣 have they done this before too??gosh...another tick off from me too... What excitement you've missed (NOT)...papers flying round like there's no tomorrow, mobile phones rocketing off beds, pillows exiting the remits of gravity to float fluffily around the earth...but don't worry,no hair tearing though...Navya's and Ah-nant's exquisitely maintained coiffures still remain intact to swish becomingly at appropriate sentimental(read romantic) scenes

I actually am a bit peeved at Anant about not apologising first too!😒 I am a hard core feminist, but that has got nothing to do with it. Anant knew precisely why Navya would be annoyed, so he should have cajoled her...Navya till now doesnt know why Anant is not giving her B'day any importance...still she said sorry...hmm...well...Appy the magician!!Uski baato mei jaadoo hai...which brings me to Appy herself.. wud love to know more about all the friends! Soumya,the actor, has been a revelation, 👏blossoming beautifully...guess the current track suits her more...mebe its what she is like in real life...or mebe the CVs heard everyone's tirade on how unlike she was being to the promos! What an about turn in her character!!Hard core fans will say pyaar ke side effects....iss story mei toh pyaar is full of special effects!! ILU bola nahi...par gussa like a wife!!🤣 Special effects ?🤣

However, i dig romances & like most of the actors onboard(barring 1 & no its not Rama) Who?Who? WHO? huhuhuhuhuhuhu?who?... as long as am not subjected to Rama's horror show, I will ignore my urge to criticise!

@Hug scene - I actually liked it. It was not the romantic type of hug. It was friendly. I liked the cheeky smile on his face too. Personally, for me, PDA is a strict No-No .. But, I can take that hug between AnYa anyday :) It was much better than the picnic one!😆 I agree with you about the WOHOAAA jazzy music though. Its a torture to the ears🤢 The instrumental following that is still fine, but I have a big problem with WOHOAAA .. 🥱I wish they find a better BG score for Anant.

@Samajhdar AnYa - I had been wondering what is bothering me in those scenes despite their conversations being so cute and sensible. You solved the mystery! 😆 The samajhdari quotient seems to have risen up in a short span of time. I wanted Navya to carry on with her "Why-me-first" stand for some more time. Poor girl had been feeling neglected from all quarters, not that Anant had been doing all that intentionally. She should have been given a chance to vent.

@Car scenes - Their pre-confession car scenes were better where Navya slowly let go of her hesitation in being in proximity with Anant, as she got to know him more. I liked the engagement car scene and the scene where he dropped her to the hospital in particular. Post confession, those scenes were only about tension and sobbing, or the latest ones again being the ones in which Soumya again has to act upset. The only time CVs could have had a chance to show a carefree happy Navya, was after AnYa left the college to spend some time together when the engagement was cancelled. But, they directly took AnYa to the hilltop😆So , Soumya hasn't really had a chance to act all happy and carefree in the car scenes. Once that happens, The car scenes would improve even further.

Still, I'd like to add that I like their over-all chemistry cuz that is one of the many things that is making me hang onto the show.

@Navya's family - I so agree with you on that! Navya's family is pretty much like my family , except I dont have an elder sister. There is warmth, love, care - everything in that family. Dadi is a sweetheart. Her scenes with Navya are so heartwarming. I even like the way she is friendly with Ritz-Appy in her own way. She calls them by different names, but at the same time, credits them where its due! I'll anyday chose their scenes over the zoo clan's.

@Ranbir - Again agree, Mohan and Ranbir , both the actors have got a soothing on-screen presence. They definitely deserve more scenes. Both their characters are sensible, and their calm and composed side is definitely good sight to see while Anant acts all hyper. 😆 ( Btw, I'm fond of Anant's hyper side as well 😆)

About Harry, I dont really know. He's hardly there in the friends scenes. Dunno , what the makers are planning to do wit that character.

@Appy's story - I didn't think about it till you mentioned it in your post. Plus, I didn't even know that she is the single child, though I knew about the financial problems . Anyhow, I'd like to see her backstory as well. They can even show some teenage friendships issues. Being a single child, her world revolves around Ritz and Navya. Both her friends have got their partners now. So, CVs can show some genuine issues of Appy feeling neglected or less important, like they showed it when she learnt about AnYa's relationship.

Oh! About yesterday's episode, it was filler, despite having AnYa and certain cute moments. I liked them as well. They are dragging the birthday celebrations though. Ab woh kar bhi kya sakte hain. 13 July promos are already out.😆

And Anant! I won't even get started on my fangirly reactions for him 🤣 The post already has become so long.
