Selfish or selfless?

Today's episode gave me goosebumps!🥱

It was a nail biting episode but one line still haunts all over my mind!😲

The line where Anant says..."Why are you like this Navya? Why do you always think about other's happiness? Cant you think about yourself sometimes?

Yeah Navya, cant you think about yourself sometimes?!😲

As much as I respect her for the human being she is, this question has stuck in my mind!
Is it that bad to be a lil selfish?

I further pondered on what love is? 😳Love is patient and kind, love does not envy or boast, it is not arrogant or rude. 😛It does not insist on its own way, it is not irritable or resentful, it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth.👍🏼 Love bears, believes, hopes and endures all things that comes its way😳. Love never ends.😳 So precisely, if thought in details, Love is a selfless feeling..😳.a feeling where you do not even care for yourself as much as you care for the person you love!😊
Maybe, Navya's dictionary of being selfless includes her family, his family and the whole world before Anant himself!🥱

And there arises my question!😳
When will the day come wen she shall LOVE Anant more than anything else in this whole world?😛
And will that day embark her as Selfish or selfless in love?

Getting philosophical huh?

But it sure is a point to ponder?Isnt it?😳

I don't have words Ritz...I am stil thinking...still lost ... its complicated...my thoughts are simply moving in circles...cant conclude anything...I don't have a sure answer to the question you raised...

I liked your post👏. Philosphical but true..

I agree Love is selfless, because you think abt the person whom you love more than yourself.

I think that should be applied to Navya's love for her family also rgt😉?... and if that is applied then Navya is thinking abt her family more than herself and her love for Anant, fits perfect.

I know it is a little confusing because we always use Love to talk abt a relation between a girl and boy.

But in reality love exist or should exist in all the relations.

I too hope though that Navya's love for Anant get to a height where she is ready to do anythng for Anant's happiness.

Will she be called Selfless or Selfish... that is anyones personal choice, how they look at it, for me she'll still be selfless...

I loved your post , i hope you like my angel towards looking at it...let me know.

LOL Smita...sorry for setting your brains to "think"...but wen Anant said that why can't she think abt them, their love...I really felt that if she does think about "them", it shall not make her "selfish"!!And thats why I came up with this post!!I personally think she can blend her love for family along with her love for Anant, coz both these "love" is RIGHT..and wen we are right, then we dont need to fear of the consequences!!

BTW, thanks for replying..i thought my post was too complex...to get any replies!!!

And I agree with ya...I shall "always" think that Navya's love for Anant is selfless...infact, even in today;s situation, her love for him is making her sacrifice just coz his family might never accept their love!!So basically, she is in pain to give his family some happiness!
But if she gives him the strength of her love, she will not become selfish either...coz she will be doing the "right": thing...everyone does not get "true love" and sticking to your love and giving him all the happiness in life is a selfless deed!!!
