Neil is Not the Well-Wisher. His eyes were Ice cold!

I watched the episode after I had read many speculations here and on Twitter that the "Well Wisher" might be Neil? I find Zero sense in this theory as to WHY would Neil hire a lawyer to win Avni's case for her, when his whole case is based on the fact that he says Avni is an "Unfit Mother" and that HE can give his son a better life than Avni? He is not just in court to fight for his son's custody but to actually prove that Avni is not worthy of being the Mother of his child, not worthy of keeping his child?

He called her a liar, a cheat and a manipulator in court? His eyes were ice cold and I saw hardly any feeling in them, even when Avni's was appealing for some understanding. She kept saying "I had no choice, it was my compulsion" and he kept cutting her down, suggesting that what she thinks of as a compulsion is not valid enough. I was happy the lawyer cut him down and said it's not up to HIM to decide if Avni's reasoning is correct or not.

If this is a "Plan" it makes no sense, as how are they going to explain what he said to Prakash and what he said to Mithali? That Avni doesn't deserve to keep their son? He shamelessly suggested that Mowgli cant get a better Mother than Mithali? That cracked me up? A woman who doesn't know the first thing about being a parent, someone despicable who lied to a woman about her dreaded grandmother being alive, just so she can get a "Man" is honest, loving and caring? 😕In Who's and Which dictionary is this an example of someone who is "Above reproach?" Is Neil officially cracked?

Anyways, I don't care if he marries Mithali, I hope he loses the custody of Mowgli coz he doesn't actually deserve him. A man who will forcefully take a kid from his only parent figure, call her a liar and a cheat constantly and act like she was teaching his son bad things and even suggested that his life is unstable and insecure, because his Mother is a Quote "Bad person" doesn't deserve to get custody of him.

It's like Neil doesn't know Avni at all, like he said she's a stranger to him? HOW can anyone think that Neil actually still cares about Avni? I am honestly not getting anything like that? Until Mowgli's truth, I could see the pain in his eyes. Even when he came to give the bracelet you saw it. In the jewelry shop, you could see it. When he was preparing for the engagement it was there. He was in pain. You could see it. Avni's rejection was hurting him, even while he had made a choice to move on. But NOW? Now I honestly don't think he is trying to find out anything about Avni's so-called "reasons?" The way he speaks to her, his cutting tone, his dismissive attitude, they ALL point to the fact that he doesn't trust her or have ANY feelings other than hatred and resentment towards her now. If not, he would not come every day all "Lawyered up" to her door and keep handing her papers. When they used the song "Tere Dar Par Sanam" THIS is not what we were expecting to see, that's for sure! This is a rude shock and a bitter reality to face.

Don't get me wrong, I KNOW Avni did wrong hiding this from Neil and even SHE knows it. So no argument there. But what Neil is doing is to get revenge on her, hurt her and break her. There is NO other Nobel intention behind it! I am sorry ladies and maybe if there are any gentlemen here...THIS Neil Khanna is not the old Neil Khanna. Please stop trying to find ways of thinking this is his plan, or that he actually cares? He doesn't. I know its a bitter truth, but we have to face it. Neil is doing all this to hurt Avni. To execute his vendetta. There is no greater plan for him, and NO he is not the well-wisher. In fact, he wishes nothing but ILL for Avni now! Sorry for the rant, but after watching the episode 2 times I am convinced this is not Neil's plan, and this is not his lawyer. (Unless he hired him to make sure Avni loses the case). Let's stop clutching at straws and accept THIS is the version of Neil Khanna that the new writers are delivering and we have to tolerate it!

Mandy ji, I am in your team. I also believe that this Neil Khanna can't be Avni's well wisher and I can see only hatred in his eyes for Avni. By thinking that Mitali will be a better mother he has insulted Avni's motherhood. Mitali never expressed any desire to become mother of his child from Avni😆 Neil is delusional that Mitali wants buy one and get a chota packet free offer😛

Agreed! I am watching neutral viewer and can only watch them once. You have lots patience. I feel the well wisher is Prakas or Bebe only. I don't deny what she did is wrong but Neil is punishing her without understanding the reason of her actions as compared to past Neil who would be angry on her for her impulsiveness but he will always take into consideration her justifications.

If at all they show it was Neil's plan, they'll make him say that at first I lost my temper n said those things but later when I thought overnight, I realised certain things n hence planned this whole game of custody from the next morning😆
We have not seen his monologue or dialogue with anybody else after that engagement day scene...so, can't say?

This cracked me up😆 I'll really imagine this song being played in the background when he again comes lawyered up (God forbid)😆
N to all your questions, even I have all these doubts and hence ain't keeping hopes high...but just to "confuse" viewers n create a "suspense", they have to give such real expressions as if there's no plan. So we can't go by his expressions alone!

I watched twice mostly coz I really wanted to see what people were basing their theories on, and I seriously saw nothing. Maybe one minute he looked upset, but the rest of the time there was NO feeling in him at all. Like he didn't give even one damn for Avni's feelings.

When Avni said that Mowgli might struggle with all this, he kept throwing the orphan thing in her face? But Mowgli had a family. Avni, Suneheri, the twins and other kids were his family. He was happy with them. He was in no way deprived.

Even in his picture of his family now, he only puts him and his Mom on it. SHE is the only parent figure he's ever known and the other ladies in the house. He's not even used to living with a male parent figure. So Avni is right it WILL be an upheaval for him. But instead of trying to slowly build trust with him, he is coming all guns blazing to take him away. I was SO happy when the kid looked scared and hid from him. The truth is, he doesn't see him the same way now. He knows he shouted at Avni, told her to get out, and also Avni told him he's getting married. So why would the kid want to go with him? Especially to have another random woman shoved in his face will be traumatizing to him as well. NEIL might think Mithali is a great Mother figure, but Mowgli has only ever had one Mother figure and that's Avni! Even if Avni was not his biological Mother he would feel the same.

Getting Neil to insult Avni as a Mother was a HUGE mistake made by the new writers. Most of the audience of these shows are female, and they do NOT take kindly to such statements. They don't feel any sympathy or empathy for a man who insults a woman's Motherhood and suggests that his "New choice" is a better Mother for his child than his real Mother. I think it's going to be very hard for these writers to justify Neil now to a predominantly female audience who will take offense with what he said. I won't lie. I was highly offended by that statement and it really hurt me to hear that. Because no matter what Avni did, and how bad a person Neil thinks Avni is, he KNOWS that Avni has always been caring to kids. She looked after Mishti, even now she's the only Mother Mishti knows. She has all these kids she looks after. So how is SHE a bad Mother?

I was very much on Neil's side throughout this leap, though I understood Avni's POV too. But I was hurting for Neil and what he went through thinking Avni was dead. But now? In that one statement, these new writers managed to reduce him to the level of most colossal jerk type male leads who ONLY see what they wish to see, and wont know a fact if it hit them in the face.

The very first comment to this post made me laugh, because even I don't get how you got the patience to rewatch. But that aside, it makes sense if he is doing all this to push her over the edge to get her to spit out whatever it is that she is hiding. If neil at some point unknown to us has had a ounce of doubt on why avni is doing all this, neil could intentionally be forcing avni to get her to say whatever it is she's hiding, as one thing neil knows and remembers about avni is how emotional and impulsive she is if pushed too far, and he has done it in the past where he has played with her to get her to speak the truth. So putting her under all this stress and fear of losing mowgli can be a way for him to do this.

After the ten year leap Neil was getting all the sympathies but these new writers have successfully made people sympathize Avni and despise Neil. Now most of the viewers are on Avni's side and want to see Neil repent and suffer for his every word and action
Isn't this a big achievement?

I honestly don't understand what is going on in his brains but I found him cold and disinterested throughout the case . He has stuck on with Avni bringing Mowgli as an orphan and stresses point blank that she is a bad mother as she has hid the child from Neil n his family . I dunno on what basis he went on accusing her upbringing after having groomed with the kid . Anyone will fall for the innocence and good nature of the kid . Avni might have hidden the truth of being Mowgli's mother from him but she has brought him up as a sweet kid who is humble and caring . Even when Mowgli complained about Neil she tried to correct him . Neil just wanna break her and destroy her as he has chosen to ignore the fact that Mowgli can't adjust so soon . This is what I understood from his behavior .

If this is a "plan" then it's surely is an elaborate one? What I don't get is WHY people cant accept that Neil doesn't have a plan, that Neil resents Avni to the core and actually thinks he's right to force Mowgli away from her so he can give him Quote "Stability" A "Better Mother" and a life away from his "Lying Mother!"

Like what's so hard to accept in the fact that Neil hates Avni and wants to revenge himself on her? What Avni was saying all along has come true. Neil wants to take Mowgli to punish her for lying to him. For not telling him about Mowgli. So WHY does he have to have a plan? Cant it be that he is pushing Avni coz he wants to see her fail and lose to him? Why is it so hard for people to accept that Neil is being cruel?
