The rays of sun shone through the gap in the curtains. Zain groaned, covering his eyes, he rolled over only to get a face full of hair, he scrunched up his nose and opened his eyes. Zain sat up quickly, holding his head "Shit"

He lifted his hand, moving the woman's hair to see Aditi's face, he let out a sigh of relief and moved forward making her wake up

Aditi sat up slowly, pulling the blanket up around her body "That sounds like regret Zain"

"No, I, just wasnt expecting to wake up like this, of course its not regret Aditi, we are so past all of that" he assured, the last thing he wanted her to think was that he regretted any of this, how could he? She was all he had wanted for ages, there was no way he would just up and leave now

Aditi pulled the sheet around her and stood up "I hope so Zain" she turned, grabbing some clothes and wandered into the bathroom, her heart racing at the thought that maybe Zain had lost interest in her or regretted one of the best nights of her life

Aditi walked into the kitchen to see Zain stood next to two plates of pancakes, he held one out and she took it graciously "Is this your way of apologising", smiling slightly at the smiley face he had put on it with maple syrup

Zain smirked "Its my way of asking you out" he scratched the back of his neck awkwardly "Well, I probably should have done this before, but I just got caught up in the moment I guess" because it was always so easy to forget all of his surroundings when he was with her, she was distracting like that

"Yes, ill go out with you, but where are we going" her eyes alight with humour as she glanced up at him, curiously

"Aditi, dont mess around, you know this isnt easy" his cheeks tinged red "I may seem confident, but I'm not" he admitted

She wrapped her arms around him "What happened to the confidence, but yes ill go out with you- in all senses of the phrase" she leant up, kissing his cheek

"You know, I kind of preffered shy Aditi, I dont know how to deal with this Aditi" he winked, though he enjoyed both as much as the other, this Aditi was exciting, thrilling and made his blood rush through his body at an exhilarating speed he always felt so dizzy just after standing next to her

She smiled "Well, youll have to get used to it" she tapped his chest, her eyes sparkling with happiness as she hugged him tighter "Because im not going anywhere now"

"Good, I think this is a good place to stay"

"What, in your arms"?

He hummed in reply, to busy basking in her presence

Jahaan, Gautam and Nalini all turned around in sync, their jaws dropping at Zain and Aditi's hands that were entwined, they all gave the duo a sheepish smile

Nalini stepped forward "Desi Cinderella found her Desi Prince Charming, I see" she clapped happily

Aditi smiled "Yeah, I uh did" she nodded making Nalini squeal, wrapping her arms around them both, she turned her head "Come on guys, get in"

Jahaan and Gautam awkwardly got into the hug, until Zain pushed them away "Lets not make a big deal about this"

"Big deal, do you know how long ive been waiting for this, I am literally the third wheel of this relationship, I can make a big deal if I like, if it wasnt for me and my brilliant ideas you wouldnt have even told her who you were and we wouldn't be here today" Nalini lifted her hands to her hips "So, im going to post a picture, to signify this beautiful moment that's all because of me, Nalini the matchmaker" she giggled

Gautam threw his phone to Jahaan "Not if I get there first" he laughed, grabbing his phone when the picture was taken and uploading it

Aditi turned towards Zain "He likes her" she laughed, her eyes wandering between Gautam and Nalini

Zain nodded "Oh I know" he smiled, remembering once upon a time when he had been in that exact same position

Aditi winked at Nalini who blushed red, turning to face the other way, then scurrying out making the rest of them laugh, Gautam edged past them slowly following her out.

"Ask her out bro, before someone else does" Zain shouted

A few minutes later Gautam peered his head back round "She said yes"

Then, they all lived happily ever after!
