Aditi tiptoed out of the front door, she couldnt help but feel like she had just had a one night stand.
Sure, she felt bad for leaving but she honestly had no idea what to say to him when she came face to face with him in the morning, she needed time.

She jumped as she heard Zain begin to wake up, she opened the door slowly, slid past it and then shut it.
She smiled sheepishly up at Nalini who leant against her car, a coy look on her lips.

Aditi raised her hand "Dont say anything, please, this is already embarassing enough as it is"

Nalini beckoned her over "Look, I have no issue giving you a lift, but we're going to get breakfast and you're going to tell me why you just creeped out of Zain's house in the early hours of the morning" she wiggled her brows suggestively.

Aditi heaved a sigh "Fine" she guessed she owed Nalini with some kind of explanation, and maybe Nalini would then stop looking at her like she was a child in trouble with the school mistress.

Nalini inspected Aditi, walking around her slowly, she leant forward "Did you kiss"

"No" Aditi replied

"Oh my, did you sleep together" she jumped up and down, clapping like she had won the jackpot

"No" Aditi screamed, making Nalini sigh

"Boringgg" she replied, sitting before her, leaning her head on her hands, she wasnt going to give up asking this easily
"Okay, so why were you then" ?

"I was feeling so unwell last night, so he looked after me, that's it"
"Oh" Nalini frowned "I wanted some juicy details"

Aditi shrugged "Guess there isnt any" she hoped her heated cheeks didnt give her away

"Are you stuck between the man you're texting and Zain" Nalini asked, then squealed loudly "They could be the same person"

Aditi held her head, Nalini was way to loud and way to excited for this time in the morning

Aditi shook her head "Zain is nice, but he's also super obnoxious, trust me it's not him" she had no idea what to do if her saviour last night and her dance partner was one and the same

Nalini winked "I see you already prefer the guy you text"

Aditi blushed making Nalini laugh even louder

Aditi looked down at her watch "We should go so I can get ready for work"

They both stood up, ready for yet another hectic day at work

Aditi looked down at the bag "What is this" she asked inquisitivley

"Remember those clay figures we made for our co-workers, well this is yours"

Aditi sat down, pulling it out of the bag, her eyes lit up at the high heeled shoe, she laughed before holding it in her hands.
It was so beautiful and very well made, he had really put a lot of thought into this and she couldnt help the tears that came to her eyes

The man raised his brow "Why would he make you a high heeled shoe"

"Inside joke" she spoke distractedly, looking at the clay model with adoration

Zain walked in all ready to have a go at Aditi for leaving without saying goodbye.
But, then his eyes fell on her smiling, swiping away her tears at the clay model he had made for her.
He leaned against the wall, arms crossed, taking her in.
Suddenly, all his anger had evaporated.

"Zain, this one is for you"
He grabbed the bag, turning away to open it in private.

He gasped at the tiny spray painted gold crown, smaller than the tip of his pinky finger
"Desi prince charming" he laughed

Aditi looked up at Zain from under the shower, her hair was soaking wet and she trembled, either from the cold or from the way his body was pressed up against hers.

He lifted a hand, tucking her hair behind her ear, then pulled her up, she could feel her heart racing as she tried to stay in character.

He smirked, deciding to take advantage of this moment, as a little revenge for her leaving without saying goodbye this morning

She hitched as his hand caressed her waist "Zain, what are you"
"Shh, were acting" he admonished, like any of his actions were part of their job, but they werent and deep down he knew that, deep down she was to. Yet she wasnt stopping him, which had to mean something.

His hand went to her back, drawing circles on it, then he lowered his head, nudging her knee with his own so she faltered.

She gasped audibly as she felt his lips descend down her neck
"Z- Zain" she moaned, he chuckled loudly then let her go

Aditi looked up at the cameras "Uh excuse me" she ran out leaving a smug Zain behind

Aditi squealed as she was pulled from behind, the light was slammed shut
"Who is it" she asked shaking in his hold

"Cant you guess" he replied, his voice huskier
"Your prince charming of course" he laughed, teasing her as he span her around

"You know who I am" asked Aditi, "But that isnt fair, I dont know who you are" the anticipation of waiting this long to see him again was all consuming, she had no idea why she couldnt help the grin off her face from seeing him again- even if she couldn't technically see him.

He had one of those presences, where you just knew.

"You refused to tell me, how's that my fault" he enquired "Oh, I liked the crown, thank you"

She nodded "I went back and made something else, I wasnt happy with what I first made" she closed her eyes, why did she have to admit that to him? Now he was going to laugh
She prepared herself for his onslaught of laughter, she opened one eye slowly, then the other, surprised when no laughter came

He shrugged "I would have liked it anyway, ill keep it in a special place, dont worry, maybe you can show me what you made before"

"Uh, I, I uh" she fumbled over her words

He smirked, holding her hand "Have you missed me"

"I"

"You" he questioned "Its very simple Aditi, yes or no"

She thought for a second, she had missed him, but did she really want to tell him that?

"Because ive missed you Aditi, very much, I just had to come and see you"

His words made her way more happier than she ever would have liked to admit

Aditi frowned, she recognised that voice, was it Zain? She didnt want to bite the bullet and call him Zain and offend him if it wasnt him

"Yes"

He placed something in her hand, leant up and kissed her cheek "Take care"
Then he was gone

She reached up, her fingers against her cheek, where his lips had been. She smiled.

Aditi was still flustered by the time she had left the set for a break, she opened her hand to look at what he had given her, she looked down at a USB confused.
She would play it when she was home, but why give her this?

"Aditi, you wanna get lunch" called Sayantani

"Sure" Aditi replied, putting her USB in her pocket and walked over

"You look distracted, everything okay" Sayantani rubbed her thumb over Aditi's hand in a calming gesture

"Yeah, im okay, just got some stuff on my mind"

"You wanna talk about it"
Aditi pursed her lips "Hypothetically, what do you do if you think you are falling for two people"

"You close your eyes, who do you see, who do you think of, thats who you want"

Aditi was not happy to find out she could visualise them both
She huffed loudly, truly feeling hopeless
"I just cant figure it out"

"You will, give yourself time, just make sure you don't lead anyone on"

She nodded, muttered a thank you and made her way back to set

Aditi sat infront of her laptop, pushing the USB in, she pressed play.
