Part 12-
Aditi peered closer to her laptop. She scrunched up her nose as she watched herself dance with her mysterious stranger
The way their bodies reacted to one another made her skin tingle like she was still there, in that very moment.
She watched as she walked away from him and he frowned.
"Who are you" she spoke aloud, the want to know this man, to understand his interest in her was all consuming
Then the video changed to something else, seven crows all on the ground.
She furrowed her brows, crows? What on earth was that meant to symbolise?
She smiled at the picture of Cinderella and her Prince Charming, that slowly changed to a picture of her and her dance partner in the midst of a dance.
This was oh to confusing, she needed help to work it out.
There was only one person who could help right now.

Aditi pulled open the door to see Nalini dressed in black, she pulled her sunglasses down and smirked at Aditi
"Shall I even ask why you're wearing that" Aditi mused
"To play the part of a mystery solver, we must dress the part of a mystery solver" Nalini replied, her face deadly serious
Aditi couldnt help but wish she had called someone else for help
She stood away from the door, allowing her to come in
Nalini rubbed her hands mischeviously "Lets watch that video"
She walked toward the sofa and pressed play
Her eyes following the movements of the video slowly
She stood up, clapping "One for sorrow,
Two for joy,
Three for a girl,
Four for a boy,
Five for silver,
Six for gold" she stopped, clearing her throat
"Uh, seven for a secret, never to be told, looks like your Desi Prince Charming doesnt want you to find out who he is, but I know who wore that mask Aditi, I know who he is"

The anticipation of waiting this long to find out made her feel dizzy

3 Weeks Later-
Zain stared over at Aditi, she was again staring at her phone, giggling
For the last few weeks this was all he ever saw her do, they barely talked, infact he was sure she was ignoring him on purpose
"Aditi" he called, again, for the one hundredth time
She didnt reply, still typing out a text message
Zain had enough, he leant over, grabbing her phone from her hand
"Hey" she shouted abruptly "What do you think you're doing" she stood up, trying to grab it back
Zain held it to him, reading through the messages "Aditi, you're dating someone"
He looked back up at her, how could she be dating someone else?
"Yes, now give me back my phone" she went to grab it again, but he held it back
"Why didnt you tell me" he leant closer, his nostrils flaring with anger
After everything they had been through, it hurt that she wouldnt tell him something like this
"I didnt deem it important to inform you"
Zain scowled at the new message on her phone
'Meet me in ten, at our cafe'
Zain placed her phone in her hand "Looks like you've got a date to get to"
Aditi took her phone back and walked past Zain, a smile on her face

Zain raised his hand to his forehead, peering through the glass at Aditi sat opposite a man he still couldnt see
Why had he followed her here? Why did it bother him so much?
He wanted to tear the man's head off for even being near her

"Zain, you're crazy" he spoke aloud, choosing not to pay attention to the fact he still hadn't looked away

"You know talking to yourself is the first sign of madness"
Zain jumped, letting out a shrill scream
Gautam slapped his hand on Zain's arm, bending over in laughter
"Man, you scream like a girl" he jest, smiling
Zain put his hand to Gautam's mouth "Shh, she might hear us"
Gautam pulled a face, his eyes focusing on whoever stood behind Zain
He turned around slowly, facing Aditi
Aditi stood, her hands firmly placed on her hips, "Zain, did you follow me here" she accused
"No, you dont own this cafe, its a free world, you're not some kind of Queen, where you own everywhere" his chest raising as he shouted at her
She narrowed her eyes "Well my boyfriend thinks otherwise"
"What is that meant to mean" Zain's nose now an inch away from Aditi's
"He calls me Desi Cinderella"
"Im sorry, he calls you what" he squeaked
He stepped closer, but Aditi didnt back down, she took a step forward, her finger pointing to his chest
"He calls me Desi Cinderella, you need to get your hearing sorted out"

"Man, I think this guy shes dating is pretending to be me, I call her that" muttered Zain dumbfounded
Gautam's jaw dropped "Well if it isnt you and it isnt me, then who is it, enough of these games, you want her, go get her, look man you just need to tell her the truth"

"We have to what" they shouted in unison
Aditi crossed her arms "Im sorry Sir, I have a boyfriend, I cant pretend to date Zain"
Zain glowered "Like anyone would want to date you, for pretend or for real"
She stared back at him, looking him up and down she smirked "Yeah, I am a bit out of your league"
He pinched the brim of his nose, once again he was arguing with her when all he wanted was to tell her the truth

He was always a calm guy, but with her

Mahesh shook his head "Its an order, you want to save this show, you want more viewings, you will do as I asked"
Aditi sighed, nodding, she walked off

"Can't you feel it Aditi, the way our bodies fit so well, how fast my heart is racing, how fast yours is, how haven't you realised"
He felt like he was begging her now, pleading for her to realise it was him, it was always him
"Realised what" her eyes searched his, her hand gripping his wrist like her life depended on it
"You cant be dating the man you danced with, because" he lowered his head

"Because if you were dating the man you danced with, you'd be dating me"
She gasped as she felt his lips press against hers
