There were several things that I loved the most about this confrontation.

1. Neil's reaction was very very natural...I wouldn't like if he would hug her the moment they meet even for a second. This disbelief n then the hurt n then the anger was a perfect transition

2. No matter how hurt n angry he was, he still always addressed to themselves as "us". They are still a team against anybody in the world, even if its Mitali, his best friend. Had it been some other show, ML would have simply accepted Mitali's proposal to prove his hatred to FL, Neil didn't...n he rather easily doubted her intentions. Avni is still not ready to believe him, but he is firm with his thought...n even in this state of their relationship, doesn't want any damn outsider to intrude. He has learnt from his mistake of trusting Juhi. Avni too has betrayed him, but he still didn't doubt her intentions unlike he doubted Mitali. They'll have their share of fights with eachother, but for the world they are still one. N when Neil said log pyaar k liye kuch bhi kar jaate hai, I m sure the same line will help him forgive Avni...also her diary will help him too. Neil Khanna is husband goals...proved yet again!

3. Avni accepted her mistake! I hope she even works on it now

4. N last but the most important, its been already 2 episodes since their meet, but there is no mention of Mishti yet.! Neil taunted Avni about faking death n changing identity when he talked about Dayawanti, still he didn't remember there was Mishti too whose death might have been faked too. He didn't give it much thought that Saesha only can be Mishti. We always feared that their reunion will be compromised if it happens during Misti Bachao mission...but they gave much required time to their confrontation which voiced out everything that we wanted. N Neil is completely thinking about Avni only, Mishti is not in his mind yet...good! I hope now Avni herself tells Neil about Saesha being Mishti before he finds out.

N yes, Neil neither has agreed to marry Mitali nor has bought time to think about it. Neil instantly understood her intentions n now there is no way he'll accept her proposal unless its a plan...so all those who stopped watching NK after that segment thinking Neil is butchered...can come back!😊
