Yeah Dragon's wish was fulfilled and I thought of her AvNeil SR obsession and thought I should dedicate this OS to her! Lol

I am happy everyone liked it coz even I was nervous writing this coz we all have such high expectations of AvNeil's SR! Like I said on another thread, they are not showing us an SR on the show, so we have to write this sh*t ourselves! Lol. Now I have to think of the next chapter! It's New Years and I had a party at my house!! So needless to say I didn't have time today!

Will have to find some time to see how this story should conclude!

"Crazy In Love" - Part 2 - OS 4

*"I look and stare so deep in your eyes..I touch on you more and more every time. When you leave I'm begging you not to go...Call your name two, three times in a row...
Such a funny thing for me to try to explain...How I'm feeling and my pride is the one to blame...Cause I know I don't understand...Just how your love can do what no one else can..."

Avni looked around during breakfast and did not see Neil anywhere. He usually arrived before the breakfast service. It seemed he was not there? "I guess that's a good thing" she told herself. She knew she was just delaying the inevitable. But this afforded her a bit more time to gather her composure. Because try as she might, she could not deny she had been nervous about seeing Neil this morning. The intimacy of the night before was still fresh in her mind. Now in the stark light of day, it almost didn't seem real. But it was, because even if her mind wanted to forget, her body was not letting her. The slight soreness of her muscles, and some marks on her skin a reminder of her passionate encounter with Neil the previous night. A sudden thought occurred to Avni. What if Neil was not here coz he wanted to avoid her? Is it possible that he regretted what happened, now that he's had time to think about it? Now that his mind was not clouded with passion and desire? Avni braced herself at the sudden flash of pain she felt at the thought. She shook her head.

"Avni just snap out of it. What happened, happened, and you can't undo it. Now concentrate on your mission. Leaving this place. Nothing else matters!" She told herself. The last 6 months and the bitter experience of what proceeded it had taught Avni you just can't rely on anything. It's true that she had found out Neil had not mistrusted her. But at the end of the day, he had not trusted her either. Because if he had, he would have told her about Vidyut. He would have taken her into his confidence. Not assumed that she would go after Vidyut in an irrational manner. To be fair, Neil had seen her impulsive and irrational side in some situations. But he still owed her an explanation and a justification for what he had done. He should not have just been judge and jury. Yes, she had totally lost herself in his arms, and yes she was in love with him. But that didn't mean she needed to give into him that easily. With this resolve, she set about her day, but he was not far from her thoughts no matter how she tried.

Some hours later when the inmates were occupied in an activity Avni walked away from the group to get a drink. She was so lost in her thoughts she didn't realize she almost bumped into someone.

"Sorry!" she said absently as she looked up and saw Neil looking down at her, his hand had come out to steady her and was holding her upper arm.

"Neil..." She breathed as she stared at him unblinking. Totally lost now that he was actually in front of her. Was it her imagination or did he look even hotter than usual?

"Hi"...he said huskily as he continued to stare back at her. The way he was looking at her made color creep up Avni's face, as she recalled the moments of their passionate encounter last night. One look at Neil's face confirmed he was thinking the same thing. Avni averted her gaze, unable to withstand the heat in his eyes anymore.

"H...Hi..." She mumbled, "Where were you all this time?" she said mostly to break the silence between them.

"Why? Did you miss me?" he asked his voice dropping another decibel and she regretted asking the question.

Avni glanced up at him. "No...Yes...I mean No..." she said, once again feeling her face growing warm as she saw the small smile that twisted the corner of Neil's lips. She averted her gaze again. This was not going well. She was acting like a school girl with a crush. Not a grown woman who had sex with a man the night before. It's not that she was embarrassed by it. It was just that running into him out of the blue had thrown her, and the way he was practically staring at her just made her feel conscious. It took her back to the days when she would catch him staring when she'd been confused about her feelings for him. It had got to her then, and it was getting to her now.

"We need to talk!" He said softly, but his tone was serious and at that, she met his eyes again.

"Yes!" she agreed, as there was no point pretending they had nothing to talk about. Yes, this was not going to be an easy conversation for her, especially coz she needed to let Neil know he didn't get a free pass just because she couldn't help herself from wanting him. It was her heart that weakened her. But that didn't mean she had to make her mind weak too. That was still functioning the same way, and she needed to use it.

"Come to my cabin!" he said.

"Now?" asked Avni.

"Yes now. I have a meeting in an hour. So it's got to be now!" said Neil as he gestured for her to go ahead of him. Avni started to walk towards Neil's cabin as he followed her.

Neil's eyes followed Avni as she walked ahead of him. His lips curving in a small smile. It was clear that Avni was a bit nervous, but her blush on seeing him had reassured him. Last night when she'd cried, he had wondered if she regretted what had happened. But today, seeing her it didn't seem that way to him. Yes, she was hesitant, but he didn't sense any coldness in her. As soon as she saw him it was clear Avni was thinking of their heated lovemaking the same way he had been. The truth was, he'd thought of nothing else all night. This morning he'd had a meeting and had not been able to make it to the prison till now. It had been frustrating, he'd been wanting to see Avni so badly.

He had come in search of her and seen her from far away before she had started to walk towards the water coolers. His eyes had hungrily taken her in before she'd almost run into him.

Avni walked into Neil's office and he walked in behind her. She heard a sound of a click and realized that he had closed the door. She was about to turn to face him when she felt an arm go around her as she was pulled back against Neil's chest. He bent his head and nuzzled the hair at the nape of her neck, breathing in the scent of her.

"I missed you!" he whispered huskily in her ear and a shiver went through Avni as she felt herself reacting to the sound of his voice and his proximity.

"Neil please..." Said Avni in a broken whisper as she felt her body reacting to his closeness.

"Mmm..." said Neil, "I remember you saying that a few times last night!" he murmured. Avni blushed at what he was referring to. Yes, it was true she had been totally abandoned in his arms last night. She'd been so overwhelmed with need and desire that she didn't know what she had been saying.

"Neil stop!" she said as she didn't want to be reminded of her wild behavior.

"I don't remember you saying that at all!" he said with a soft chuckle.

"Stop teasing me!" she huffed, her face red, as Avni broke away from his arms.

But Neil didn't let her go far as he gripped her arm and turned her around to face him. His arm going around her waist as he pulled her against him. "You're adorable!" he said softly looking at her flushed cheeks and her soft mouth which still looked a bit swollen from his kisses, her curls framing her face. Avni looked edible. Didn't she know what she was doing to him? More than ever, he wanted to hear her say she loved him.

"I know I'm a brute to tease you, but I can't help myself seeing how easily you fall for it!" said Neil with a slow smile.

"Very funny!" said Avni rolling her eyes. "Hey..." He said softly, "It was the same for me too. I couldn't get enough of you either, as you may recall!" he said, looking down at her. His eyes holding her gaze. His words only deepened the color in her face.

Neil lifted one hand to her face, as he ran his knuckle down the length of her flushed cheek."Isn't there something you need to tell me?" he asked softly. She looked at him confused and he elaborated.

"I said something to you last night...after we made love..." he said pointedly holding her gaze. "I would like you to tell me how you feel too!" he said.

Avni suddenly had clarity as to what he meant. He was referring to the fact that he had said he loved her, and he wanted her to tell him the same thing. Avni looked at him and suddenly she realized that Neil was just as vulnerable to her as she was to him. He wanted to hear her say that what happened between them was special, that she loved him and it was not just a trip down memory lane for her. But the devil inside her told her to enjoy this moment, and torment him a bit longer. After what she had been put through, this much revenge was fully warranted.

"I'm not sure what you mean? Can you remind me of what you said?" said Avni feigning ignorance. At this Neil, jaw tightened as he pulled her flush against him. "Don't tease me Avni!" he said roughly. "You know what I am talking about and you know what I want to hear!" he said.

"Do I?" asked Avni, her eyes widening.

"Yes you damned well do, and let me remind you that you only ever said this to me once and that too coz I tricked you into it!" he said referring to the time when he had written I love you on her back and she had repeated it to him. He was right. She had never said "I love you" to him, other than that one time. She had said she loved him many times, but never that line, "I love you", which is what he wanted to hear.

It was like her refraining from saying it to him was somehow denying what they shared its special quality. Because whether Avni admitted it or not, it had been love between them last night. The love that neither could deny, which had got the better of them. Avni looked at Neil, her eyes suddenly serious.

"You want to hear those words? They are important to you right?" she asked. Neil merely looked back at Avni, without saying anything. "Well having you say you trust me, that you believe me, was equally important to me Neil, and that is the one thing I didn't get from you! Do you understand how much that hurt? Still hurts? "said Avni.

"Avni..." said Neil, as he sighed. "I told you before, I did believe you!

"Yes, I know that now. But at the time you were arresting me I didn't. I know you did it for a reason, but I am telling you how you did it was wrong!" said Avni and Neil was about to speak when she stopped him. "I'm not done yet!" she said. "You need to understand that how you chose to protect me was not the way I wanted to be protected. I always wanted to be your equal Neil and I always thought I was. But by assuming that I would make the worst possible decision if I found out about Vidyut, you showed me you didn't trust my judgment at all. While I accept that I may have given you reasons to think the worst in the past, you should have at least TRIED to trust me. After everything we had been through I think I was owed that much courtesy? said Avni earnestly.

Neil looked at Avni as her words sank in. She had a point. She had been his equal in everything. Especially how she had handled herself during the Juhi phase. How she had done so much to save Juhi, then Mishti. Yes, he had been completely overwhelmed with fear and panic when he realized how obsessed and sick Vidyut was. But he did realize that Avni had a point when she said he owed her the truth. Maybe his way of trying to protect her had not been the best way. At the time he had thought it was. But now seeing how much the whole thing had hurt and damaged Avni, he wondered at the wisdom of his decision. He did owe Avni an apology.

Neil cupped her cheek and made her look into his eyes. "Avni...I'm sorry! I don't think I realised how badly this would go when I made that decision. How hard it would be to corner that psycho Vidyut. How much my actions and then me staying away from you would hurt you!" he closed his eyes for a moment and opened them again. "I sincerely thought this was the only way I could keep you safe. In effect, lock you away from the world. If that makes me a selfish lover, then I guess I am selfish!" said Neil and his eyes were unapologetic in the moment. "All I can say in my defense is that I am crazy in love with you, and if locking you up is the only way I could keep you safe, then that was what I was going to do!" he said roughly.

"Oh Neil..." Avni breathed softly, lost for a moment in his passionate gaze.

Neil's thumb moved to her bottom lip as he ran his thumb over its luscious curve, and Avni's lips parted slightly. "Oh, Neil what?" Neil murmured.

"Nothing...just Oh Neil!" murmured Avni back. At that Neil bent his head and caught her lips with his, lightly biting her lower lip as he ran his tongue over her lips. Avni gasped as he kissed her hungrily, his arms pulling her even closer. Avni ran her hands up his chest and around his neck and buried her fingers in his hair as she kissed him back with equal hunger. Neil's hands seem to be everywhere at once as he molded and caressed her curves over her prison uniform. Avni could feel her body heating up with need as Neil caressed her, and her body pressed so close to Neil, recognized that he was equally turned on.

Avni tore her mouth away from his as she was running out of breath. "Neil...We can't do this here!" she panted, looking up at him, trying to inject some sanity into the situation.

"Do what beautiful?" asked Neil with a smirk looking down at her.

"Do I need to spell it out to you ACP Khanna?" asked Avni with a small shake of her head.

"Did you think I was going to ravish you where we are standing?" asked Neil with a raise of his browse.

"It won't be the first time!" Avni whispered boldly.

Neil swallowed as he felt himself react to her words. He took a deep breath. Yes, he wanted her enough to ravish her where they were standing, but she was right they could not do this here!

"No it won't be the first and it certainly won't be the last! But your right we can't do this now, and not here!" he said roughly as he put a little distance between them reluctantly. As Avni tried to move out of his arms with equal reluctance, Neil pulled her back into him.

"Not so fast!" he said. When Avni looked up at him questioningly he said "There is something you still need to tell me!" As he held her gaze, she realized what he was referring to.

"I don't know what you mean!" said Avni her eyes alight with mischief, as her lips curved into a slight smile.

"Don't tease me baby..." Said Neil roughly as he looked at her with eyes full of heated passion. "Say it!" he murmured softly.

Avni melted under the heat of his gaze, unable to hold herself back against the passion in his eyes. Yes he had let her down, but he was human too. He had made a mistake. Avni had enough wisdom to realize that it was Neil's love for her, and his desperation to keep her safe, which had affected his better judgment. Sometimes when it came to the people you loved you lost all rational thought. She should know this better than most. It was time to let go of the past because unless she and Neil united, they could not fight Vidyut. Because they had to win, and they would win. She had spent the last 6 months in total misery and it didn't seem like Neil had had a better time of it. It was time to move forward.

So taking a deep breath, Avni Ayesha Neil Khanna took the first step towards victory as she cupped the side of Neil's face as she stood on tiptoe and pressed a kiss against the side of his mouth and then looking into his eyes she whispered. "I love you, Neil!"

OK folks that's the end of this series. I thought it best to end it on a high. I am thinking of writing some stuff on Neo but will see how the episodes play out first. Back to work tomorrow, so this trip is over. But I hope the inspiration keeps coming.
