A small problem I have with the current track

CVs haven't let us down yet. They handled the marriage track very well. They handled everything post the leap well. I just sort of some problems with the track. I'm going to point them out, and you can agree with me if they annoy you too, or you can disagree with me and can tell me why I have it wrong.
a) Neela and Avni's relationship.
Neela is a great mother. There is no doubt about it. It's great that she likes Neel, and her relationship with Neel is shaping up great. But where this mother-in-law & son-in-law relationship flourishing, her own relationship with Avni is dwindling.

I understand why Neela is doing what she's doing. We see her inner conflict too. But we aren't seeing Avni's confusion, scepticism and inner conflict with Neela's actions at all. After everything, Avni knows that Neela can go above and beyond anything to do something good for Avni. We know she thinks Neela did everything because Neela didn't want to her to become a murderer. But she should still be thinking more on why Neela is forcing her to maintain the marriage with Neel. She doesn't have to understand it or agree with Neela but atleast Avni should talk to herself about the concept or marriage. And although, Avni is going back into Neel's house for Neela, I felt like we didn't see that shared love bond. It seemed more like Avni was doing a favour for a favour rather than her doing something for the love she has for her mother.

Also this might just be me, but I don't think we saw Avni trying to tackle Neela's coldness enough. Avni lost Ayesha. She wouldn't want to do anything to lose Neela too. Although Neela hasn't replaced Ayesha in Avni's eyes, Neela has become her other mother. Avni wouldn't stay quiet after Neela's actions. She'll go back to her again and again, she'll say "mujko apne aap se door nah karo, ma. Ma sehen nahi sakoo gi," that she wouldn't be able to handle it.

b) Ali and Neel.
So with Ali, I understand he doesn't want the Avneil marriage to be continue. He's in love with Avni and will do everything she tells him to do (which as the viewer is something that distinguishes Ali's love for Avni to Neel's potential love). But he apparently was Neel's best friend. Why has that become irrelevant now? Why would Ali go to Neel and ask him why he's doing all this? Why won't he try and talking Neel out of it, rather than just making plans with Avni.

WIth Neel, why doesn't Neel remember that Ali was in love with Avni ever since a kid? Also he hasn't utilized Ali at all for finding out Avni's truth like he first said he would.

c) Avni running away from marriage right after the first ritual
Again I understand the emotions behind it, but I feel the way she's tackling the forced marriage scenario isn't true to herself as a character. Like her calling Ali, and him coming up of a way, rather than her trying to do it actively herself already. Also, I would have imagined her reasoning/arguing with Neel a lot more first before taking that step to run away. Like if she does it again its actually understandable now, because Neel is basically threatening her.

Other than that, please don't get me wrong, I'm still enjoying the show immensely.

I literally miss Neela-Avni conversation. And i think cvs are not showing them because if they both talk n if Neela try to correct her that she's being like Ashish so she will easily accept the marriage I think n cvs doesn't want it to happen soon.

And if i talk about Ali n Neil friendship so wht i always feel that Ali is an immature n emotional guy, he has more friendship bond with Avni than Neil so he's not confronting him.

I agree with your AvNeela point. I wish we get to see more of their bond.

About Ali. Yu are right, he isn't being Nei's best friend anymore. Instead, he's busy being AvNeil's best friend. The transition was bound to happen. The one who stands beside Neil is his dad and DD.

Your last point. Even I wish she had tackled it on her own but I guess she took the help given to her. We al know Avni has a soft corner for Neil. If she thought out things on her own, she wouldn't run away like that without annulling the marriage. Ali, on the other hand, seems like a reckless guy who is just trying to get Avni out of the marriage because he's in love with her.

My biggest gripe is avni's impulsiveness and immaturity. Plus how does she easily believe neela when she acts rude with her, that too, when she has lived with and been raised by neela for 15 years? How can she actually believe neela's harsh words and rude behaviour to be true when she has lived with neela for so many years, and neela has done so much for her and been by her side throughout all that time? Avni is now turning into a very silly character ever since the marriage track happened.

But I feel like, even if Avni doesn't want to follow through with the marriage, the way Neela is treating her right now would effect her more. Since she wouldn't want to lose her second mother essentially. She wouldn't just go on about life. She would try finding out what's going on with Neela even if she didn't get the chance to confront Neel.

The transition was bound to happen, I guess. But it feels like Ali had memory loss and forgot Neel was his friend at all.😕
But ever since Avni was a kid, she had brilliant ideas. Ideas that shocked adults like Aladdin and Neela at their brilliance. Avni has been great so far, but I feel after the marriage Avni's character hasn't been used to it full potential. But we've only seen 2 episodes this week, I'm sure the rest of the week will delve into Avni's psyche a bit more

Exactly my emotions about Avni's character. Whilst molding Neela and Neel into more reasonable characters, they forgot about Avni's bond with Neela and only Neela for the past 15 years. Plus Avni as a character has always been critical of people's actions. So she should have more faith in Neela or atleast wonder if Neela is being forced to act rude. Avni's just blindly accepting Neela's rudeness.

That's actually one of the main reasons that the adult actors that recede the child stars are unable to match up to the child stars...because the younger version of the character is always better written to be more intelligent, whereas once the character is shown as a grown-up, the character is subjected to the same treatment as other characters on serials; made into crying, weeping, impulsive and unintelligent main leads. They always show the adult version of child characters as lacking intelligence compared to their child counterpart. How intelligent was young avni, compared to the impulsive and overtly-emotional older avni we have now?
