Asian Age:Sudha Chandran gets teary-eyed

Sudha Chandran, who lost her leg in a freak accident years ago, overcame her disability by her determination. Recently her inspirational journey was chronicled in a soul-stirring act put up by the little contestants of reality show, India's Best Dramebaaz. Sudha was left teary-eyed and overwhelmed by the act. The audience and the judges too had a lump in their throats witnessing the super emotional piece.

Recounting how the captivating performance by the kids sent her on a nostalgia trip, the actress exclaimed the act is the best tribute given to her till date. She says, "These kids played the part with so much honesty that it made me relive the situations I've been through. Swasti and Kartikey handled the act with so much sensitivity that it gave me goosebumps and I ended up crying."

The actress continued, "My world turned upside down after that accident and people discouraged me from continuing to dance but I just wanted to dance so I bounced back. I did not let the loss turn into an impediment. Along with my will power, it was my parents who stood by me like a pillar of strength in my most challenging phase of life. If my journey encourages and inspires people to never give up trying to do what they really want to do, I will be truly satisfied."
