Self preservation is one of the top five inbuilt tendencies of a true slytherin.

If it goes the desi drama way, where they are targeting the trp aunties,

then either he will follow the same fate as his counterparts and become a villian without any personality and die at belas/Mahirji's hands.

Or he moves towards the obsessive lover spectrum.

I don't think it's love or just lust. More like unwanted fatal attraction.
Both are slytherins, we feel attracted or intrigued by people who possess similar personalities like us.

Exactly!

And Mahir is really being short-changed in that department... Clash him with someone of same personality - A Gryffindor-Ravenclaw mix ... Let's see what comes out.

You know what, Mahir - Bela are like what it would be if Harry-Hermione paired up 😆She is Harry, him Hermione 😆

ACP was intelligent version of Ron, I mourn that missed bromance! 😭

I want that teeny-tiny bit of Dumbledore in Mahir to come out now 😛 (When he battles a Voldy) (ala Order of phoenix )

^ Somethings are really cutting too close to HP, Ash.

Unmissable.

Though completely unintentional on the writer's part. It's just us spotting the uncanny resemblance of it 😆

Sad they could never conjure up a Voldy... They come up villains as deep as a Grawp all the time... Though Vyom is an aberration - A Draco finally...

Random thought: Does that make Love guru - Trelawney? 😆 I'm so tickled at this thought...

Edit add: Vikku is a Bellatrix, right?😆

Nikki asked about this couple of weeks back.

I strongly believe none belong to one house. We have a healthy mix of all houses personalities in us, yes one may be more dominant than another.
Plus our upbringing and experiences mould those existing personalities. But at the end what matters is what and who we CHOOSE to be.
For me that is where bela is different from vyom.

I have always felt, even though Mahirji initially appeared as a ravenclaw!, that is his second house, he primarily is a griffindor
Where as bela appears as a slytherin, which she is 😆 but she also has many traits from ravenclaw too!

Now coming to Mahirji face off with similar combination.

Look, all houses don't follow the same rules.
Especially griffindors.
Plus Mahirji's inbuilt protective and providing nature!
Did you see how bela acted faint, (after ripping those vultures apart] in front of Mahirji 😆
Main ghabra gayi thi 😆
He totally digs that!
He wants to be wanted.

@the wanderer: I usually go back and start the series every couple of months 😆 and every single time I see and feel things I never experienced before!

Vikku is more like peter pettigrew! 😆
Even belatrix had some class!

So, whatever that thing is which Harry-Dumbledore saw at station and Dumbledore felt pity on?! Your take?! (fibby n ash)

Like Hermione would say (and Dumbly agrees), illuminating conversation, that one - The best two characters ever had in fiction in my opinion.

This isn't the place for that convo, I guess.

Still " pity the dead" resonates with everything.

Mahir's hero complex is too Harry and gryffindor-ish, through and through 😆 "Saving people thing" As Hermione puts it and we've already discussed.😆

Bela is dominantly a Slytherin, then a bit of Gryffindor, finally a bit of Ravenclaw.
Mahir, largely Gryffindor, then a Ravenclaw and a bit of Hufflepuff (Though the Cedric type😆)
(Agar Cedric naa hota, tho Hufflepuff ki izzat hi naa hoti, as much as I love Hagrid)

@ Peter Pettigrew 🤣🤣🤣 Oh, Fibby, you genius! 😆

Yes even I doubt the writer is as intelligent.

Grawp like villians...😆

Yes Vyom is a Draco with the right amount of swag!!! 😳😳😳

Love guru Trelawney??? OMG 🤣

Vik is not Bellatrix... She is my personal favorite and a role model in a way I want to be as badass as her. She was never confused about where her loyalty was unlike our Viku. He spends most of his days either pining away for Bella or getting slapped by his mother's tail.

Vik is a Crabbe or a Goyle 😆

For me it represented two things.
1. Obviously a part of Voldemort's soul that had latched on to Harry's, and getting rid of everything nasty that came along with it

2. To live we need to die, accept and embrace death. And harry did that, with that majority of Harry's issues died. His grief, his mourning, his craving for a better past and childhood, again his want to be wanted for who he is... some part of his ego died. Let go.

It does, I feel that is what makes us human.

Couldn't agree more!

No wonder I became a fan of hers as soon as her naagin truth was revealed and I realised this😆

Mahir, largely Gryffindor, then a Ravenclaw and a bit of Hufflepuff (Though the Cedric type😆)
(Agar Cedric naa hota, tho Hufflepuff ki izzat hi naa hoti, as much as I love Hagrid)

I mean the emotional outbursts alone😆 I still feel mahirjis hufflepuff comes through in between because of pvp!
See we read the story through Harry's eyes and griffinors POV, so yeah, may be the hufflepuffs make fun of gryffindors boors the same way😆
@cedric! Though Voldemort tried his damndest, it was Cedric who became immortal 😎
@hufflepuffs izzat: hello?! Newt?!
@hagrid: I didn't get you?
We all love hagrid, how couldn't anyone⭐️ but he is a griffindor

@ Peter Pettigrew 🤣🤣🤣 Oh, Fibby, you genius! 😆

😉

Fibby, wasn't Hagrid Hufflepuff?! Was he a Gryffindor? I recollect Tom Riddle's story about Hagrid and Argog, and mentally I sorted teenage Hagrid into Hufflepuff.

Boy, how did I forget?!

Mahir's Gryffindor - Come on! He has courage too... Not just the emotions... And he is smart. Most Gryffindors are.

@bold I think that was Voldy in his after life gone all mouldy!!!

Bella is like a Slytherin but with a dominant Ravenclaw trait. She is as cunning as she is intelligent. Mahir doesn't have any self preserving instincts whereas Bella is more careful. But not when it comes to her loved ones. She is no dare devil. But she will take on any danger if her loved ones are in danger. I think she is a little bit of Griffindor as well.

I can see N mom going Not my daughter you bas***d at Vyom very soon if he tries to hurt Bella a la Molly Weasley style.

Even I miss the bromance that could have been between Mahir and Ajitabh. But well...

You are in a way right, Mahir is the Hermione to Bella's Harry. Bella is in a way a bit like Ron as well, the ways she makes Mahir cry every now and then. She does have an emotional range of a teaspoon. 😆

OMG I just thought of something, Bella is Harry. She saved Vik when Vyom tried to stab him just like Harry saved Goyle and Malfoy in the room of requirement. Like saving the whole enemy thing. 😃😃😃

Hey crusty did you read the blog by any chance? The link which I had sent you??
