Bowing out: yes... but they are heading towards drama.. if they follow the older patterns of dealing with villains then it would make no sense and will appear repeatitve, even for them.

Vyom fits into a traditional pure-blood slytherin mold accurately.

I know, but still I'm shook, because that malfoy-granger chemistry was at the back of my mind when I started writing about vyom!

@bela theory: thank you, I'm seeing another pattern too, on insta, twitter and even us, we aren't repulsed by vyom as an antagonist, we are open to his scenes! We accept him as a villain and we appreciate his acting too!

@real vyom: I feel he is vyom.

@undercuurents: I have my doubts if he would have gone through with finishing off bela only!

I feel he wants to see bela lose, he wants to see her fail, both as naagrani and as lover, he wants to see her without her usual aura of "I'm better than thou", he wants to see her grovelling, he wants to see her mourning,,,

I highly doubt he will be able to stomach that...

this is a typical unadulterated slytherin behaviour 😆

OMG you guys!!! You went straight the HP route. But it's so true. You do get a Malfoy-Granger feel to Bella and Vyom's relationship. And I agree with Crusty I would rather see a Malfoy-Granger than a LilySnape angle any day. I don't want Vyom to a gracious lover who backed off or sacrificed himself for his lady love. I hate him and I want to continue hating him.

@Fibby you are a genius. That Bella Vyom comparison was too good.

Sorry I barged in your conversation like that, but seeing HP references got me going.

@Crusty there is a foundation for feelings. He might see himself in Bella. As in the same struggle that she faced while killing Mahir, Vyom is facing. Even she genuinely tried to kill Mahir initially but then began to develop feelings for him.

Hers was a misguided attempt at revenge.

Even he is not exactly behind the right person.

I see a lot of Snape like qualities in Vyom. A hard-core Slytherin, then transformed and used is dark magic abilities for the good side. I see a lot of potential in him. I woilwoulbe surprised if he ends up helping the Naagrani in the end.

Ash baba, there is no barging here... most welcome and specially with viewpoint like that even more welcome...

I get what you are saying but I don't see that as a strong foundation to build such feelings... admiration, a bit of a offhand crush but infatuation or love? I just don't see it somehow...

It's like Rafa and Fedex having a duel in a Grand slam... both would go for the kill but there is spectacular play being witnessed and respect for the enmity - in the players and in the audience. You see what I mean? That kinda love not the one sided or sacrificing type...

edit add: I wouldn't put it past him to lend a helping hand before he goes. That too with lot of attitude... He is not the type to stay back and help... But would just give a push before he minds his own business😆

This is Indian television we are talking about. At best they can go for the graceful bow out ending. Otherwise we will have another psycho lover for Bella. I can think of only one show where the lover had the dignity and grace to bow out and that was Dil Mil Gaye. Otherwise the psycho scenario is the most common one.

But if they can pull off what you are saying that Kudos to Ekta.

Nah, Ash, I am almost sure he won't go psycho lover way... He has more personality than that. He would make his feelings obvious but won't impose on her, if at all it comes to that. Which means, in a typical desi soap it'd lead to sacrifice only as Fibby predicted. Shucks man, I hope he loves himself enough to rather leave the battleground making it look like he is doing a favour on Bela by forgiving her and deal with his feelings privately all by himself... I rather think he is that kind...

If it goes according to his nature and his slytherin personality, he would make it seem like a favour to her and walk out gracefully to tend to his sore heart in privacy, away from public eye.
Self preservation is one of the top five inbuilt tendencies of a true slytherin.

If it goes the desi drama way, where they are targeting the trp aunties,

then either he will follow the same fate as his counterparts and become a villian without any personality and die at belas/Mahirji's hands.

Or he moves towards the obsessive lover spectrum.

I don't think it's love or just lust. More like unwanted fatal attraction.
Both are slytherins, we feel attracted or intrigued by people who possess similar personalities like us.
