No issues on your POV ... everyone can have their own share of views whatever it maybe ....

What I wrote was my POV as the way singer is considered, that includes .. voice quality, feel/ mood of the song - sad, happy, romantic, way of carrying a song .. etc etc ....

And I'm not comparing with anyone as when it comes to singing ... we have much more choices than only Shaan and Shankar .. we have Shaan, Sonu, KK, Sukhwinder (my fav's) and others ... each have their own uniqueness .. positives which makes their songs great .... While we have Bijuria, we have Chand Sifarish, Chaiya Chaiya, Khuda Jaane etc etc .... and I cannot compare .. I want to listen to all of them and want all of them to keep on singing and give viewers like us listen to their masteros ....

We are just expressing the views of the huge majority who sincerely believe that the manipulated result by hand full of studio audience votes VS. millions of public votes carried the real ratios and margin of victory by which, Shan should have been declared as the winner.

@sudhrim_2007... 😆 so it means that if i write that Shaan Strikers: 5 and Shankar's Rockstars: 10 then i can show you how great Shankar's team is 😆... it is an absurd criteria that you used here dear. that is why i commented on it. 😊

@SAM2U... well if they were the deserving team, fine agreed, i also was eagerly waiting for Shaan's team to take the trophy because i know that Shaan has more great singers than Shankar's team, BUT, Shankar's team WON that PARTICULAR match, fair and square, so we all have to accept that it was THEIR day. Shaan's team should have done a better job especially in the medley part, by involving the audience more. What the audience liked came on the screen and that is how Shankar's team won. No point arguing their victory in the grand finale.

Secondly, i would like to give in my previous post that: If this was a show where they had to just give the prize to the most POPULAR singer, Shaan would have won it no doubt about it.. but Unfortunately the matter depended upon which team won the heart of the audience on that particular GRAND FINALE night..on which Shankar's team did well
if votes would have been the ONLY deciding factor, then what is the point of doing the muqabla?.. It was a fair and square win,and I think Shaan fans are defending more than Shankar's fans. it is not a matter of life and death. for me, both teams were winners already. just have to show a little sportsmanship to accept the fact that Another team can win! 😊 Cheers!

and the rest of the thing about majority saying this and that, well frankly, we all have our own point of views, Shaan is popular and greatly loved, so it is evident that majority will take his side. But, if you see things in a neutral perspective, you can see that it really was not that bad as most people see it. Anyways, let bygones be bygones.

I wish best of luck to both the teams for the future. Especially Anwesha from Shaan's team and Rahul from Shankar's team. Rock on! 😊

I agree with somone, guys. Let bygones be bygones. Shankar's team won - ki farak penda hai?! As Ranjitha said, we should just enjoy our fav. performances!

PS: The only reason I came back to this topic was to protest against all Shaan's Strikers' Fans being seen as a group of biased crazy people. I am an unbiased viewer because I have nothing to gain from Shaan's victory or Shankar's defeat - so don't write off my views as "Oh, he is a Shaan Strikers fan, so of course he will say Shaan's team was more deserving. That's just his bias..."

Hi friends,

Just entered india-forums. So forgive me,if i am wrong. Lets not argue on who had to win. Shaan's Strikers were my favourite team too. I too felt bad when they lost. But I am very happy that I could listen to Anwesha in all episodes n very happy that she won over hearts with her music. I felt Shankar played according to the rules and to the best with his team. Everyone wants to win and he too tried to win by coming to the field and putting his maximum effort in medleys. By saying this i dont say Shaan's Strikers didnt. Shankar stole the show where he could. If he had Anwesha in his team, he too wud have relaxed and wouldnt have come so many times. 😊

With due respect to what you said.. Do you say that because Shaan doesn't prefer singing classical numbers??
Then you wud also say Kisore da or Kumar Sanu were also average singers as for them singing was natural like Shaan.. And the songs Kisore da or Sanu sang wre mostly melodies which Shankar can never sing BUT Shaan can and that also as good as them.. So I can also say in that context that Shankar is an average singer compared to Shaan!!! Imagine Shankar singing RD Burman or Bappi Da melodies which Kisore da or Sanu or Shaan can sing so wonderfully!! Ex- "Ek hasina thi" by kisore da or "Ek Ladki Ko Dekha To" by Kumar sanu..

Agreed with most of ur pts....i too was happy to hear anwesha till the finale n i too felt Shaan was lucky to have anwesha in his team which was a minus for Shankar.

Yes ... stating Shaan as an average singer and comparing him with Shankar M is not justified. I had wrote this earlier also .. in that case Kishore Kumar would also be labelled as an avergae singer as we do not have any classical song from him and then Manna Dey would be considered as much better singer than him as most of his songs were classical ones .....

First of all Shaan's voice quality is something which comes in as a pack and package of talent gifted by God .... and he had topped that with his wonderful medolious notes and feel of songs ... which is not a quality of an average or ordinary singer 😛

and I would again never compare Shaan with Shankar M or any other person ... not even KK, Sukhi, Sonu .... each are great and everyone has unique quality which suits somewhere .... But if people wants to label Shaan as ordinary singer .. then yes, I would like that our country gets some more ordinary singer like him so that we get to listen some ordinary songs like .... Ore Kanchi, Woh Pehli Bar, Musu Musu Haansi, Jab Se tere, Chand Sifarish, Woh Ladki ..... till todays Behti Hawa .... I'm happy with these ordinary songs from ordinary singer ....

I very frankly admit that my pov is biased for Shan-strikers and there is nothing wrong with that. The very reason for supporting this team was its strength, capability and consistancy, Shaan himself, Debo and off course Anwesha. Anwesha left such an impression during CU days that I always wished for her that one day she gets a chance to showcase her talent on a bigger platform, in front of the music industry leaders, huge audience, competing with renowned and senior reality show singers. She not only got all of the above but got this life time opportunity to actually had Shankar ji competing against her. My wish fulfilled but now I wish this is the last reality show that she had participated. She doesn't need these shows....

Though She won the best singer award and deserving too, but she was not at her best @ MKMM due to participation in too many shows one after the other, she performed like a maestro during CU days where every single rendition by her was a masterpiece.

Nonetheless she was mostly consistent and much better then any other participant of MKMM. By denying the finale to her team, this kid has left yet another opportunity for producers like Gajji to lure her into participating in yet another fake reality show in an effort to finally wining the title. Anwesha and her parents must concentrate on the bigger picture and she should stay away from such shows in future.

This kind of exploitation of this young talent is naive and will hurt her in the long run. My sincere request to Anwesha is to stay away from these reality shows. She should continue her education and continue learning sangeet from her guru ji who helped her achieve great heights during CU and continue her riyyazz. She should wait for the right opportunity. Her talent and hard work will surly shine. She is destined to become one of the greats if she doesn't fell victim to this short lived fame and money offering fake shows.

Sorry for digressing from this debate. The post topic is meant only for Shaan supporters to express the very reasons why we think Shaan is the winner of this reality show. let me try one last time again.!

@Someone your post is somewhat biased towards Shankar, sorry. The notion that its balanced and un-biased is unfounded.

I would have excepted the other teams victory only and only if fairness was sufficiently evident.

In fact finale title was snatched from the deserving team much before the finale. This so called pre-finale was rigged by Shankar ji himself, by bringing JA on board, much to the surprise of Gajji who himself is the biggest manipulator of situations and scripts. (this is an insider tip). Only four neutral maha judges were to originally grace the pre-finale, Alka Ji, Jatin-Lalit duo and Ismail Darbar in place of Himesh, Shreya, Mohit and Mika.

This is was what Gajji needed to spice up the show. Shankar Ji and JA are working hand and gloves on six new projects together these days.
This affiliation and bias was enough for JA to utter words like "lowest common denominator of entertainment" justifying his 5 out of 10 points for Shaan's medley. A huge and glaring disparity of points compared to other four judges which could not be ignored.

This was the moment of decision of the final outcome of MKMM winner, and that too, much before the finale was actually aired, JA helped Shankar ji with that one precious wining point for this pre-finale which made all the difference in the end, Regardless of the huge public votes to shan or his defeat in the grand finale.

If this wasn't enough the last minute decision to pre-record all performances and even play original renditions in some cases to be lip synced, during finale, made such a mockery of the live event. On top of that audience voting was another fake drama voting on this lip-synced dance show.

I admire and respect Shanker ji a lot for his work, but trying to unfairly win at any cost, reflected badly on their win in the end. I do not know who to blame Shankerji, J.A. or the mastermind GAJII JI.???

In this forum there are people who posts spoilers etc. and have direct inside contacts and knows much more about what actually goes on behind the scenes, but can't post much as the affiliates and frineds and everyone associated with this kind of production are bound by complex legal contracts.
