I very frankly admit that my pov is biased for Shan-strikers and there is nothing wrong with that. The very reason for supporting this team was its strength, capability and consistancy, Shaan himself, Debo and off course Anwesha. Anwesha left such an impression during CU days that I always wished for her that one day she gets a chance to showcase her talent on a bigger platform, in front of the music industry leaders, huge audience, competing with renowned and senior reality show singers. She not only got all of the above but got this life time opportunity to actually had Shankar ji competing against her.
Though She won the best singer award and deserving too, but she was not at her best @ MKMM, she performed like a maestro during CU days where every single rendition by her was a masterpiece.
Nonetheless she was mostly consistent and much better then any other participant of MKMM. By denying the finale to her team, this kid has left yet another opportunity for producers like Gajji to lure her into participating in yet another fake reality show in an effort to finally wining the title.
This kind of exploitation of this young talent is naive and will hurt her in the long run. My sincere request to Anwesha is to stay away from these reality shows. She should continue her education and continue learning sangeet from her guru ji who helped her achieve great heights during CU and continue her riyyazz. She should wait for the right opportunity. Her talent and hard work will surly shine. She is destined to become one of the greats if she doesn't fell victim to this short lived fame and money offering fake shows.
Sorry for digressing from this debate. The post topic is meant only for Shaan supporters to express the very reasons why we think Shaan is the winner of this reality show. let me try one last time again.!

I would have excepted the other teams victory only and only if fairness was sufficiently evident.
In fact finale title was snatched from the deserving team much before the finale. This so called pre-finale was rigged by Shankar ji himself, by bringing JA on board, much to the surprise of Gajji who himself is the biggest manipulator of situations and scripts. (this is an insider tip). Only four neutral maha judges were to originally grace the pre-finale, Alka Ji, Jatin-Lalit duo and Ismail Darbar in place of Himesh, Shreya, Mohit and Mika.
This is was what Gajji needed to spice up the show. Shankar Ji and JA are working hand and gloves on six new projects together these days.
This affiliation and bias was enough for JA to utter words like "lowest common denominator of entertainment" justifying his 5 out of 10 points for Shaan's medley. A huge and glaring disparity of points compared to other four judges which could not be ignored.
This was the moment of decision of the final outcome of MKMM winner, and that too, much before the finale was actually aired, JA helped Shankar ji with that one precious wining point for this pre-finale which made all the difference in the end, Regardless of the huge public votes to shan or his defeat in the grand finale.
If this wasn't enough the last minute decision to pre-record all performance and even play original renditions in some cases to be lip synced, during finale, made such a mockery of the live show. On top of that audience voting was another fake drama.
I admire and respect Shanker ji a lot for his work, but trying to unfairly win at any cost, reflected badly on their win in the end. I do not know who to blame Shankerji, J.A. or the mastermind GAJII JI.???
In this forum there are people who posts spoilers and have direct inside contacts and knows much more about what actually goes on behind the scenes, but can't post much as the affiliates and frineds and everyone associated with this kind of production are bound by complex legal contacts.
You are right but I wud disagree on blaming Shankar. Shankar had a weaker team only Rahul was good. One point I want to raise here is that if same team that Shaan had was swaped with that of Shankar then shankar wud not have come to sing against any contestant for sure.. Anwesa was too good, Debo was wonderful, Harshit, Shadab excellent.. Had shankar got this team no one could beat shankar because he didnt have to worry about loosing But again I think Shaan wudnt have come to sing against Anwesa or Debo he would have sent Rahul or Sanjeev against them. Shankar is very talented but I think he took this show little more seriously as he has his reputation in industry and he wants to keep up to his reputation. But Shaan and Shankar can't be compared.. Musically they are of equal talent but as a human being Shaan perhaps has an edge.
According to me Apart from Anwesa, singers who impressed a lot in this show were Rahman (great voice), Debo (wonderful duets), Abhas, Rahul, Shadab. Singers who disappointed were Vineet, Toshi, Hemachandra, Aneek.
