Shaan Team is a winner in my eyes!

Hey Awww, really happy to see your post here. I've always found your views to be fair no matter who you support. This forum has gotten somewhat tired of this discussion. But seeing your post here after a long time, I thought I would just reiterate what you said. I agree with you fully. Why in MKMM, Shankar as a musician is a winner hands down in every area of the field of music.

However, it has been very difficult for most of us to accept the victory of his TEAM. Besides the confidence factor that you have mentioned in your post, as a whole the song choices and the overall performances of the Strikers as a TEAM was much stronger throughout.

And besides the performances, the humility and the innocence of his team members also appealed to me. I have mentioned this in another topic, and would like to repeat here one of my strong reasons for supporting the Strikers. As parents of growing children in a country which is not our own we face many challenges. We try to instill good values in our children and keep them connected to the Indian culture and at the same time want them to love our music.

When I saw and heard "improvised??" songs like "Jaan-e jaa dhundta hu yahan" by Neeti-Rahul, I thought to myself "Gosh I hope that my kids don't turn out to be like that!". In contrast when I next heard the pure and heavenly "Naam gum jaayega" by Anwesha and Debo, I could proudly show it to my kids. One should go back and listen to both these numbers to realize what I'm trying to say here. It is extremely important how the thinking of our children is moulded based on what they see on our channels.

At the end of it, the way the channel manipulated the results also brought out immense anger. The loss of pre-finals was solely due to Javed Akhtar's judgement and inspite of the strikers win in public voting, the introduction of audience voting on pre-recorded songs seemed extremely unfair to us all.

Yes, to me also the Shaan's strikers are the real winners!

Same goes for me

Shaan is the ultimate winner with full of honesty and dignity

He was a real captain and gave fair chance to all the singers in his team unlike Shankar who stoop low just to win

Winning is not all that matters but how you play the game also count

Especially the last medley where Shankar overtake on Shaan team

That was a repeated medley, I fail to understand how a team who reach up to the final sang almost the same medley that they did previously during the competition. That so cheap, it's like cheating

Come up with new ideas and be creative and not to repeat the same medley.

I used to like Shankar as a MD & Singer but not anymore

Even viewer's voting was in Shaan favour

I think these things were pre-planned after all it's Gajender Singh Show

We cannot expect anything more than creating drama on stage such as walk out or argument among the mentors themselves.

Anyway I was, I am and I will be always an ardent fan of Shaan.

Awww agree with your view completely ... only point is as per my POV Shaan is not an average singer .... he is the leading male voice of Bollywood today which just an average singer would not have been accomplished ... Shaan has a wonderful voice quality and his songs are full of feel which makes them a masterpiece and a pleasure to hear ..... be it Ore Kanchi, Suno Na, Woh Ladki Hein Kahan ... to Behti Hawa .... Yes, he is not a classical mastero and no one claims him to be that .... but telling that ... Shaan is definitely one of the greatest singer of Bollywood and not just an average singer .... I'm not comparing him with anyone .... Shaan is unique with a marvellous voice quality 😊
